CUTE!
|
![]() So if you don't know, I am a huge Mario Golf Mark! I really enjoyed Mario Golf 64 and I fucking loved Mario Golf Toadstool Tour on the Gamecube. I've been waiting for another Mario Golf game for a long time and it's almost here. I really have high expectations for this game and I hope they live up. Also that DLC that was announced just recently sounds awesome. 108 holes and 4 characters sounds great. Let me know if any of you are getting the game or are interested in it. EDIT: I would love conformation on this but I'm hearing that this game will release for $30.00. Think about that. A Mario sports game not the full $40.00? Maybe they're doing this because of the season pass but even so, this is a great deal. Please support this everyone. Edited by MrPhoenixCross, Apr 23 2014, 03:35 AM.

I'm definitely getting it, I loved playing 64 and TT with my brother and i'm glad to finally see a new addition into the series. Those non castle club courses look super zany especially with items involved. The Mii courses are one thing but I'm definitely leaning towards using Boo(tista) |

From what I'm hearing the $30 price is confirmed, with season pass it's $45. IMO while I usually don't like season passes, I'm fine with how they're doing it in this game considering the amount of content you get up front is already more than the past games already and the season pass adds on to that amount of content a lot it's a perfectly fair deal. |

I'm not sure if that $30 price is sticking. I did preorder the retail one on Amazon for $30 (and it seems to be out of stock now), but that might just be Amazon's end. Gamestop lists a preorder digital for $30, but retail is $35. We'll see. I'm still looking forward to it and will probably get the Season Pass, because that's another 108 holes which nearly doubles the content. |

I'm getting it. I've always liked Mario Golf games and it's been way too long since the last game. Will probably get the season's pass, too. 10 courses in the main game plus 6 more courses at that price? I'm in.
That's odd. EBGames.ca lists it as $35 physical as well, which would be normal for a $30USD release since all our new games up here in CANADIA cost $5 more now. (#$$$QUALITY) Not sure what's up with Gamestop down there.

Man, this game is gonna be awesome, but it's been YEARS since I used the Mario Golf style of swinging. Not a bad thing though, it's still fun as hell. I look forward to playing some tournaments. |

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT. GET It's been forever since a Mario Golf game has come out. Literally skipped a generation. Edited by Moofey, May 1 2014, 01:49 PM.

Hey all. I've got a tournament going specifically for the VGCW Forum. The code access number is: 62-6979-3260-3833 It's on the Seaside Course, which I think is a beginner-intermediate course. Everyone can play! It goes for two weeks so that should give you plenty of time to get in on the action. And there are prizes! In order to qualify for prizes, please PM me your Nintendo Friend Code/Name and Steam username so I can confirm your details. Of course, you can forego playing for prizes and just have fun competing with other VGCW fans. 1st Place ![]() For Steam, worth $19.99 according to current Steam prices! Wow! 2nd Place ![]() Also for Steam, worth $14.99. Great! 3rd Place Don't Know Yet! Nobody likes third place. If someone would like to volunteer a prize, let me know. It's taken me some doing to get back into the swing of things heh but anyway I'm loving this game so far. I tried the tourney and although I have no idea of my ranking against everyone else I will say i'm still trying to get used to the items and when to use them. Also 3rd place should be Bad Rats |

ARE YOU REALLY FEELING IT, BROTHER?!
|
Been thinking about getting this. I did love Mario Golf on the N64, but it has been an awful while. Edit: Nevermind, went and bought it with DLC. Still jobber tier at it, but I'll get better. Edited by Yayifcations, May 4 2014, 11:03 AM.

If I wasn't complete garbage at putting I would be a beast. If not for being passable at chip shots I wouldn't have beaten the first two tourneys. |

Is Camelot still the developer? Either way, I'll probably look into picking this up if/when I decide to get a 3DS. |

I'm actaully finding it a bit more difficult to hit chip-ins in this game; That or I haven't had much of an opportunity to get them yet. Other than one that I got from 90 yards out in my first round of the VGCW tournament I've only gotten one other. |
