From the rules in the OP;
Both Guybrush and Phoenix will get a W for their respective rumble wins! |

And hoooooly crap does Phoenix ever need it. Guybrush not so much, but it's well-earned in any case. Waluigi is going to hate this though... |

Thank fucking god Mega Evolution was done in Gen 6 and not in Gen 2. Updated! I hope everyone is satisifed by Dracula's 8 wins in a row reward! Wily also gets GOLD FONT! |

So eight wins in a row leads to an upgrade from text adventure to point-and-click. Good to know. Also, could Phoenix's position possibly be the lowest we've ever had a VGCW Champ contender at? Talk about a turnabout if he wins! |

If Phoenix's next match is against Drac and he beats him we could have a champion with -5 momentum and about 40th place on the rankings! Phoenix's recent form has been horrific! |

That would be the power of 'having won your most recent match', combined with the power of 'three wins in your last 5 matches' and 'one of them was also a draw'. |

Sonic has actually been doing really good lately. ...or at least he was until Sonic Truffle happened and made him look like an absolute joke again. |

Better not hear you talking any shit about the greatest tag team of our generation, Sonic Truffle. They're future champs and you can quote me. |

Well at least now we know one of those two things is true. But yeah, Sonic is pretty good, just not stellar. Same as Toad. And they haven't quite hit their groove as a tag team either (Sonic in particular just...doesn't do well as a tag team wrestler) but that might be proven wrong in the future - they've only just started after all. |

There's just a lot of people with back and forth momentum at the moment, it'll be interesting to see if someone can scrape out above the rest. |

Feanon pretty much said it and I think it deserves some analysis because of how perculiar the trend is. Lets take a look at the most important part of the momentum table, the form guide, and then narrow it down to the last 2 matches using the wrestlers who fought at Mega Evolution... - Guybrush won the little cup rumble, but lost to Waluigi beforehand - W L - Sho beat Reyn, but lost to Kanji beforehand - W L - Reyn lost to Sho, but beat Ezio beforehand - L W - Waluigi lost to Wily, but won a 6 man beforehand - L W - Flint beat Bison, but lost to Bowser beforehand - W L - Vegeta beat Gary, but lost to Air Man beforehand - W L - Gary lost to Vegeta, but beat Travis/Ebisu beforehand - L W - Phoenix won the prime cup rumble, but lost to Heavy beforehand - W L Notice the trend...? ...EVERYONE is trading wins and losses with each other! Infact, only 2 wrestlers outside of the champions have 2 wins in a row at all; Scorpion and Dan. As a result, nobody is gaining any sort of traction to look like a worthy contender for either of the belts. The 2 rumbles were an absolute neccessity to actually get some contenders because nobody has any momentum thanks to this weird 50/50 booking the games RNG has going on right now. Personally speaking, I'd be looking to book anyone with a win in their last match against others in a similar position and trying to establish where people fit on the card right now. This will put a stop to this weird 50/50 trend happening and get some members of the roster a few wins in a row to try and establish themselves as credible contenders. Dracula and Wily are the two best in-ring wrestlers in VGCW right now and everyone else has some serious catching up to do instead of trading wins with each other and being stuck in this weird "Everyone is equal" trend that's happening. |

I don't know if the 50/50 thing is necessarily a bad thing. I think it means that we have a deep midcard, and that's not a bad thing. Seasons 11 and 12 have been good for the midcard! |
