and Wily are the two best in-ring wrestlers in VGCW right now

That line is still mind boggling to me. And I always liked Wily.

...EVERYONE is trading wins and losses with each other! Infact, only 2 wrestlers outside of the champions have 2 wins in a row at all; Scorpion and Dan. As a result, nobody is gaining any sort of traction to look like a worthy contender for either of the belts. The 2 rumbles were an absolute neccessity to actually get some contenders because nobody has any momentum thanks to this weird 50/50 booking the games RNG has going on right now.

So wait, Gary's mad and salty booking was exactly what was needed to give us belt contenders?

...TOH you mad, mad genius.

I don't know if the 50/50 thing is necessarily a bad thing. I think it means that we have a deep midcard, and that's not a bad thing. Seasons 11 and 12 have been good for the midcard!
.

It's definitely not a bad thing. The midcard is probably the most stacked it's been in awhile, and it gives it quite a lot of exciting possibilities for casual contenders. And if Phoenix takes the belt, all hell is going to break loose at the top.

Rankings Updated!

Dan defies 50/50 by killing Goemon and obtaining his 3rd win in a row. He finds himself joined in the upper region of the rankings with none other than his old rival, Knuckles, who's victory sees him shoot into the top 10 with 3 wins and a draw from his last 4 matches. Dan and Knuckles are still locked at one a piece in their rivalry and both are in convincing form. Time to decide the timebreaker?

Some significant movement happened involving the people in the nights triple threat. Demoman bizzarely went up 20 places for surviving 10 more seconds than Sabin. The martial artist himself took a massive hit to his momentum; dropping 34 places thanks to obtaining his 3rd loss in a row. Nappa rises to stand with his king, the two saiyans finding themselves with both equal records and equal points.

Kanji got bullied.

Zubaz continues to find ways to bizzarely move up the table despite not having a win in over a year.

The best part is that this still accurately depicts how people feel about him.

Table updated and replaced the deceased Guile and Goemon with Billy Lee and Jimmy Lee.

Air Man manages to break out from the pack a little by defeating another previous match winner in The Heavy. His victory sees him become one of the rare few non-title holding wrestlers with a win streak and actual momentum going forward; (Cage, Dan and Scorpion being the others.)

Shadaloo went 0-3 on the night but it was their leader, Bison who took the heaviest drop following his defeat to Bowser. Dropping 21 places down to 35 and once again finding himself mired in the midcard.

Man, it would be quite a match if we ended up getting Air Man vs Dan(vs Johnny?(vs. Scorpion?? nah he's had his fun)) for contenders the main belt.

RIP Bison

Table updated!

Dan the man flies into the top 5 sitting on a 4 win streak. He seems an absolute lock for a contenders shot and is very likely to face the winner of Cage/Vegeta (if that happens) for a chance at the main belt.

The city state of Duke and Ezio. Porco Dio...
