I like to think whoever does get it has a locked spot in that unofficial VGCW HOF thing Prozach was doing (if he ever thinks of a way to make it up to his standards), but in the show? There's bound to be some sort of plot to come out of it, and whoever does end up getting it is probably gonna end up being viewed as a much bigger threat than they were before.

Other than that? :idunno:

I ALREADY TOLD YOU! I'M THE BEST!
Being the first to do anything leaves your mark on the world. That's all it needs to be really. Like, Wah could job forever, but he's still the first casual champ. Bison will be forever known as the first to beat a practice bot.

Prestige is the true goal that the whole roster should aspire for, and the triple crown grants that.

Edited the OP to include our NEW VGCW Champion Guile. This win not only makes Guile the first person to have won both singles titles, but the only man who needs the Co-Op title to win the Triple Crown.

How the hell did it take this long for one man to hold both single's titles? Furthermore, who the hell is gonna tag with Guile?

I don't know if I want Guns of the Patriots or Armstrong/Haggar '16 more. This is unfair.

Only one way to settle it properly:

Haggar vs. Guile to determine Armstrong's tag team partner. :lakitu:

I like that the almost instant response was three different people with three different pictures of Armstrong.

*All the pictures of Armstrong

Mmmmmmyup walked right into that one :lakitu:

do we really want to set these two loose on the tag division though? I mean, ones a man that lost exactly two matches in seasons 7 & 8 (one of them being against Scorpion mind you) and the other one squashing Illidan fucking Stormrage in his debut. It kinda feels like unleashing Ganondorf on the tag division again, except he's in his pig form. And there's two of them.

I feel it's weird to say, but after tonight, I feel the guy who could end up taking this first is Dan.

Dan Hibiki. The most decorated VGCW Superstar.

Just because two monsters are in a team doesn't equal success as a Tag duo.

Or am I the only one who remembers the Dark Lords?

Also DAN should be the triple crown title holder. (Why dosen't Dan have an emote? VODDY has one but not Dan?)

*EDIT* WHOOPS I'M DUMB :dan:

Okay, here's some analysis on the chances of the active contenders of winning the Triple Crown trifecta:

NOTE: All power rankings are as of 5/11/2015.

Ganondorf
Current Power Ranking: #10
Needs: Casual
Chances: No. Put Mr. "Thousand Years of Darkness" in a Casual match? The booking would have to be literally brain dead for that to happen, no matter how much of a slump Ganon gets into. And Ganon seems to be booked VERY carefully to keep his mystique intact.

Nappa
Current Power Ranking: #1
Needs: Casual
Chances: No. Nappa's just way too much of a mastodon to fall into the midcard long enough to get booked in a casual contender's match. Plus, he's the guy who brought down Scorpion, even if it was through a cash-in.

Waluigi
Current Power Ranking: #47
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Very unlikely. Waluigi's the ultimate wild card of the VGCW; sometimes he's just lousy, but other times he beats someone he has no buisiness beating. Probably the only way he'd get even a sniff of the title scene is if he wins a Rumble, but if he does, who knows if the cards will fall in his favor.

Red
Current Power Ranking: #36
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Unlikely. Red's pretty much solidly established as midcard by this point. Every chance he gets to hang with the big dogs (like versus Ganondorf or Scorpion) ends badly for him.

Air Man
Current Power Ranking: #16
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Unlikely. Coming off of his big run as Casual Champion, he looked unstoppable in singles. Losing to Ezio and Octodad took the luster off his shine, though. Unless he turns his singles career around, he's liable to get stuck in midcard hell. If he wins a Rumble in the future, though, he might have a chance...

Proto Man
Current Power Ranking: #26
Needs: Casual Title
Chances: Maybe. Protoman's been in a bit of slump, but beating Wario might be the end of it. If no other Casual contenders emerge, there's a possibility he could get booked into a Casual match. After all, Donkey Kong got a casual shot while in his slump.

Vegeta
Current Power Ranking: #23
Needs: Casual Title
Chances: Maybe. Vegeta's sort of in the same position as Break Man; an upper-midcarder coming off a slump. There's an outside possibility of him getting a Casual Shot, but he's also likely to get pushed further up.

Arino
Current Power Ranking: #5
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Good. Arino has just come off of a Casual Championship with a good record in the power rankings. Arino also has a reputation as a wild card who's usually midcard but can sometimes keep up with the big guys.

Dan
Current Power Ranking: #9
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Good. Dan is in the same position as Arino as a former Casual Champion with a high ranking. With a good win against a solid opponent, he could break into the top card like Barret has.

Eggman
Current Power Ranking: #43
Chances: Good. Eggman had a recent opportunity to take the Triple Crown, and he's probably in the best position to do so at the moment. He's improved his singles game to become a force in the midcard, and he's already got his Co-Op and VGCW titles. He's likely to get another chance sooner or later. All he has to do is win the matches.
Adding a new contender to my list.

Guile
Current Power Ranking(as of 5/20/2015): #4
Needs: Co-Op
Chances: Maybe. Guile's the first challenger to get the "hard part" done: Winning both the main and Casual titles. All he needs now is the co-op belt. But I don't see Guile rejoining the co-op division until maybe a couple of seasons down the road, during which another challenger could take the prize. Though I agree with most of you that a Guile/Armstrong team would be a perfect fit. Maybe Guile will throw his hair in with Gary and become the corporate champ?

Dan (UPDATED)
Current Power Ranking: #7
Needs: VGCW Title
Chances: Good. Beating Bison, along with the chaotic state of the top card right now, means that Dan could very well find himself in a contender's match if the stars align right. He just needs to win the matches.
