Maybe Cage as well? Or both? First Cage, then Vegeta, then Bison, then Duke or something. Work his way up to the Champ with his own Elite 4.
Would you call it a "(Victory) Road To Redemption", per se?

...I'll see myself out.

Arino's issue is that the belt he needs is the main one, and all his attempts to go up against proper topcarders haven't gone so well. Dracula, Bowser and Haggar all beat him, though he can go up against anyone below that level. I'd reckon he's around the upper midcard level that Bison and Groose are stuck in, and it's very difficult to branch out of that group.

Together We OH GOD
Keep in mind that Arino also very nearly beat Duke Nukem in a one-on-one contest and quite convincingly beat Dan, the man who beat our current champion. While Bowser and Drac turned the poor guy into paste, on a good day he can hang there with the big guys. He just needs to have that good day.

Arino has the ability to beat anyone. It's just that he also has the ability to lose to anyone. Great combination of a strong finisher and a ton of determination, but not the strongest regular damage output. I'd LOVE for him to go for the Triple Crown - Hell, I loved it when he was in that triple threat with Kefka and Mac years ago for the chance at going for the gold when people thought he was a jobber - but he does have to do it organically. He's a high tweener, I'd say a little higher than Vegeta and Groose but not on the same level as, say, Air Man.

We're at a nice point that, of everyone who can get the accolade, only The Mavericks really have the momentum to go for it right now. So I'd keep an eye on them and Eggman because the Masterplan is always active, and see where things take us.

The best part about Eggman is that he is intentionally keeping himself from being the best just so he can stay in the midcard and finally get the triple crown. It's been his plan for almost 2 years! #Masterplan indeed.

Alright, dudes?
Becoming a triple crown champion by becoming Casual Champion last is no accomplishment.

X: Doubt
There is some truth to that, getting it via getting THE belt feels like the real accomplishment, working from the bottom to the top, and doing everything you can on the way there. On top of that, if you got the main title before the Casual Belt, isn't that merely a sign of how far you've fallen since then more than an accomplishment?

NOPE.
Yeah it's like having Ganondorf show up and beat the shit out of Groose to win the midcard belt. Like, yeah, that's easily a thing that he could do, but it's like taking candy from a baby at that point.

It'll still be cool if/when Eggman does it since it would still feel like a partial ascension after plummeting from the very top to the very bottom and then returning to a solid middle ground. But it won't have the same impact if it were someone like Red or Arino.

On this line of logic, how would it affect someone like Vegeta, who only won the VGCW Championship because of Voodoo. Would it be an accomplishment knowing he could win a singles belt on his own?

If you get the Triple Crown you get the Triple Crown, Casual Championship completing it be damned.

Sure let me just turn this around.

Becoming a triple crown champion by beating a guy who won it in a notoriously janky match type with more than one person in it is no accomplishment.

Becoming a triple crown champion from beating your opponent in a fair fight while being saddled with a horrific default moveset for 85% of your career is not only an accomplishment, it's a miracle.

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time
Groose or Guile are probably the most likely as of right now because the two singles titles are a whole lot harder to get than a tag title.
Personally seeing it be done first by getting the tag titles would be really lame. As for the Casual Title, it really depends on what contender wins it. If Eggman got the Casual Title for the triple crown it'd be hype as hell, but if Sabin or one of the Saiyans did it I wouldn't find it anywhere near as hype, because their major title reigns are actually in recent memory. Eggman's is kind of a fun fact one that happened more than two years ago.

I think Eggman is the only one I'd be happy to see win the Triple Crown via winning the Casual Belt because we've seen him at his lowest low, and even him winning the Casual belt would be a huge improvement for him compared to where he was.

Vegeta winning the Casual belt wouldn't feel nearly as satisfying, because ever since 2K14 hit Vegeta has been really good. He's already beat Groose one-on-one, who most of us agree is as strong as you should be allowed to go for the belt. Vegeta would lock that belt down hard.

I feel the same way to a degree. While having all three belts is neat, stepping down a level to get the last strap is underwhelming compared to someone who climbed the mountain. Of the candidates who only need the Casual Title, Eggman is probably the favorite because it's fun to say he had a Master Plan all along. Aside from that, the hype would probably be because he's been at rock bottom for so long that getting any belt would be a huge improvement for him.

Currently I think that Air Man has the most momentum to get the Triple Crown, though it may take longer than expected considering that he's lost to Ezio and Octodad recently. While that may not delay a title shot, it shows that he's by no means unstoppable and can have some really off days.

I also feel that Red has a very good chance of getting the Triple Crown. The dude's been pretty consistent in 2K14 ever since he learned the Mew2 and mitigated Red's Bane. If he gets another top card test he'll probably be up there with the best soon enough. He may have even gotten there earlier if he didn't have to beat guys like Ganondorf and streak DK as a requirement back then.

Just don't put Red up against Airman again. That shit is Falcon/Breakman levels of depressing.
