Why a barnburner, there's better things in Ace Attorney to burn!

Save Jensen vs Break for End Game? That's a TERRIBLE idea. We have the, no pun intended, breaking point having already happened. It's time for Jensen to man up, get out of that room, and break that smug robot prick's face in.
Only way I could see the build lasting to End Game is if there was something basically every week to keep Jensen appearing motivated. The only other match you could really make out of this to my immediate knowledge would be Snake/Jensen vs. The Mavericks, and then after that you just fill that up with various plot segments, but at the end of the day you're right.

I do hope we get Snake/Jensen vs. The Mavericks though.

Jensen's been out of action long enough to knock the person who picked him out of survivor. Give him a match already.

All due respect to the dude who picked Jensen, I don't think booking should ever be dictated by a novelty forum thing. There's a story-driven reason Jensen is out of action, it builds anticipation and lets other people get a match instead. TOH should do it at his own pace.

Though if you're just saying he should be on the mid-season show, then, yeah. I imagine he will be.

While I fully support the idea of Jensen as Snake becoming a team by virtue of it being by far the best lead up to two unrelated characters becoming friends on this show my several thosand miles.

Jensen needs to stand on his own for a while and show people what he can do without Gabe being involved.

The tag team circuit is super healthy right now, so I'm thinking they would officially team up around season 13 at minimum. It's something that should happen but much like the time before Barrett and Flint teamed up, it needs to be at the prefect moment. TOH knows what he's doing.

I'm fucking bored, so I came up with an idea. Who would you have in a conceptual G1 one style round robin tournament? (V1 if you will) Much like the G1 they must be the top guys in the company. You'd want a good mix between veterans and rising stars, and when I say top guys in the company that can include individual achievements, match quality consistency and general popularity. Keep it to 12 guys otherwise it gets bloated after that. Also you can have guests from EDBW or ARENA, much like G1 has guest wrestlers. I'll pick mine to start off.

Illidan
Scorpion
Bowser
Phoenix
Dracula
Nappa
Cage
Bison
Armstrong
Dante
Air Man
Knuckles

Really tough picking 12 top guys to fill out the tournament. I couldn't think of a really worthy guest because the main event scene is really stacked. I didn't pick Ganon because I already had Scorps, since I consider those two the two best guys. I think one of those guys need to be mandatory since you're hosting a best of tournament, and Scorps puts on better matches than Ganon. I also found it difficult including two guys in the same stable. I wanted Travis and Break in there but found it next to impossible to leave out Dante and Air Man. I wanted Duke and Snake in there, but then you'd have too many veterans for my tastes. Knuckles is the Honma of VGCW, so he's pretty much essential. Edgey and Demo are still too green at the moment for me. Pretty happy with it overall though.

Well, it almost feels like cheating, but since Moogledrink already did a thread about the wrestlers with the best match quality, it seems these twelve would be my pick:

Illidan Stormrage
Dracula
Scorpion
Solid Snake
Johnny Cage
Bowser
Phoenix Wright
Steven Armstrong
Duke Nukem
Ezio Auditore
M. Bison
Miles Edgeworth

They're all good wrestlers too, even Ezio seems promising if he keeps up what he's already done.

NOPE.
I remember Desublade suggesting this happen once, these were the general guidelines he came up with for a list of entrants

DesuBlade

Every current Champion. Main Belt Champion, Midcard Belt Champion(Casual/Casualette Champion), and Tag Team Champions. Every member of a big enough Stable(Examples being nWo or Groose and his Gang of Bullies). And then others who would be best suited for this type of Tournament; a few former Champions, Upper-Midcarder Talent, Underappreciated Talent and two Jobbers so each Block has one.

So with these listings, narrowed down to a group of 12, you could do:

Sabin (current champ)
Groose (current champ)
Jimmy Lee (current champ + stable)
Billy Lee (current champ + stable)
Dan Hibiki (stable + former champ + upper midcarder)
Chief Arino (former champ + upper-midcarder)
Solid Snake (former champ + upper-midcarder)
Travis Touchdown (upper-midcarder)
Segata Sanshiro (underappreciated)
Goemon (underappreciated)
Zubaz (jobber)
Toad (jobber)

That seems like a fun, rag tag group that would give a whole bunch of people who don't really get a lot of time in the sun a really big feature role.

And yet you list the 3 prats, Snake, Travis, Toad. Half are well utilised imo and i dunno if a whole tournament that big wouldn't just bloat people of whoever participates in it. Add theres storyline going on.

Good point, but it'd be tough to include a stable that doesn't have a lot of screentime no matter what. I guess maybe the Blu Rogues, but I dunno.

It's kinda a self defeating exercise, really. Honestly I think it'd be cool, but not worth the effort and would be too difficult to make into a reality without overbooking a big chunk of the roster while wasting another chunk.

It seems something like this is destined to be at best a non-canon exercise for fun.

I mean you could have a streamer volunteer to run a nights worth of block matches, especially in the event that nothing happens on the EDBW/WVGCW nights.
