I hate that you even have to post this because there's no legit reason for people to be mad. Being salty about your favorite not winning is one thing, but to call a particular show bad because of that is just wrong. Besides, belts playing hot potato and changing hands frequently is a quick way for a belt to become devalued. For what it's worth i thought the show was great even with no titles changing hands because that just happens sometimes and it's not a bad thing for that to happen because all the belts are just that much more important. |

If your favorite was in the position Sabin or the Dragons are in(successfully defending), would you want them to drop a belt? I'm gonna guess probably not Edited by NCR_Ranger, Sep 8 2015, 09:32 PM.

As a Groose fan, yeah of course I want Groose to defend the belt. However, if Groose were challenging for the belt, I'd want the champion to drop it. At the end of the day: Favorites will be favorites. So what are you going to do? Bottom line, give Groose all the belts and have him never defend, so nobody can defend! Sabin is surprisingly polarizing for some reason. FF6 is one of my favorite games, and Sabin's moveset is appropriately brutal and entertaining, so I like him. I really don't see a major reason to dislike him unless you're a fan of one of the speedbumps he's run over in the last season or two. |

NOPE.
|
The way he re-debuted and his run for the first 2 seasons of his comeback were really, really bad. However, now? He's been pretty harmless, and has been the best champion since Scorpion. So there isn't a lot to be upset with him at this point, apart from just wanting favorites to win. |

Title changes and all that mark crap aside, I just respect TOH (and all streamers) for all the shit they have to put up with, providing a fun show and all and getting these exaggerated reactions on matters that are out of their control like RNG. As far as Sabin goes he is really good and I turned completely on the guy, I wanted Bison but Groose proved he is also a deserving champion. Edited by JNT, Sep 8 2015, 09:50 PM.

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!

Good show with a decent new tag team coming out it. All champions retaining is good for the show and shows the championships mean something. I think this ends the streak of the Casual Title not being defended as well so Groose may go to be a really dominant title holder. I like the Game Shark being the major villain of this season and it looks to have a load of avenues to explore! |

Although not having the titles change hands was a disappointment (didn't see Casual, co-op was amazing, but heartbreaking, and main title was just a squash), I don't see how TOH has anything to do with how the game decided to act tonight. The really good matches (again, tag team) more than made up for the duds. It was a great night, TOH, and an amazing first PPV; don't feel discouraged. |

Admittedly, tonight was not my night results-wise. It could've gone much worse though honestly. I'm intrigued as to what's next with a Gamesharks of all things running amok! Edited by HereComesTheChief, Sep 8 2015, 10:07 PM.

In which I attempt to sum up my feelings on The Night's results by not watching any matches due to be indisposed except during certain portions (first bit of Bison v Groose, entirety of Knux v Scorps, first bit of Rumble) : -Thank you Groose, you might help me break even on my fight money tonight. -Knux...You came close. Damn close. If you used one more emerald cutter, I hazard a guess and say you would've had it. #BigMatchScorps -I still want Jensen vs Break to be an End Game match -DRACULA HOLY FUCK -So far, The Dragons have defended against the longest tenured team in VGCW (Practice), the ultimate team comeback story (TJ&E), and now the biggest underdogs in VGCW (Birbs). Who are they gonna have to defend against next, a pair of handicapped paraplegic puppies who have somehow learned to wrestle? -DRACULA HOLY FUCK -I'm actually quite pleased Sabin defended-Cage will get the belt one day, but not yet. Honestly I just want Sabin to have a reign on par with Raphael's, and so far so good. Just...Don't go overboard, okay Figaro? |

Ladies Love it.

I really liked this show. The match quality didn't blow me out aside from Groose/Bison and the rumble, but results wise I was really really hype. And plotwise, WHOOOBOY. I'm really exited for where this is going. |

*Hug* Sorry if people are being salty. The show tonight was great, and I'm really looking forward to Octodad and Segata. |

Overall a good night. I like longer title reigns because they give the title more prestige, so all the titles being held is nice to see if surprising, I really thought Sabin in particular would just be another hot potato holder before it settled on someone, the other titles have never really had long reigns in my memory aside from Red's casual run. Drac beating Armstrong and winning the rumble makes him look really strong as he has been sliding down a bit in his apparent strength Knux hung on far longer in what I expected to be a squash, I think a bit of Gary rubbed off on him. Mavericks vs Salvation Ops was fantastic from a plot POV and a fantastic fight, MOTN. Out of the title matches I like the casual match best, the championship match was meh to me and the tag-team match felt like it dragged on a bit, but I'm not the biggest tag-team fan. I'm interested to see where Gameshark goes, it looks to be an interesting way to have some fun gimmicks and changes. Also got a kick from the Segata/Octodad plot, I was really expecting that to go a different way. Also just wanted to clear something up, I find Vyse's and Guybrush's CAWs boring because I've never liked that flat painted look that is a result of not having the accessories to properly display their outfits, I really dislike Falcon's new CAW for the same reason and the fact that he is too skinny for what is normally a broad character. Nothing to do with the characters, although Vyse is gonna need some plot. But haters gonna ban/timeout/whateveryouwannacallabanbutnotcallitaban. Edited by Anony1138, Sep 9 2015, 05:09 AM.

More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.
|
Then blame the limitations of the game instead of insulting the hard work our CAW creators have put into making these characters by dismissing them as "boring." It's completely unnecessary. |
