Let no one say that Bazza can't hilariously poke fun at himself.

As for Barret and Flint, I think that Manly Men song worked well for them and would be great as their tag theme and team name. Plus, the "while the other stands there staring" lyric perfectly fits how those two fight; one kicks all the ass while the other isn't tagged in (or is better off not tagged in). It writes itself.

Making their name "#RealMen" is funny to me as well.

Firstly, yes have Barret and Flint always have the manly man intro, its unique and suits them, also its really annoying to have the team just switch between both of there single themes.

Also, I'm going to say this in a way that doesn't start a war. BUT, we have 50 active singles wrestlers. We also have like, at least 7 people in EDBW who SHOULD be in VGCW by now. I will NOT say names, but I think its fair to assume that we will be seeing at least a couple farewells this season. Whether it being fired or given a legends contract.

The fact is the roster is bloated. You really can't deny that.

I actually disagree. A new showrunner working on a lighter and softer season for VGCW coupled with the amount of newcomers we actually did get last season means there isn't a drastic need to cull anyone because of the fresh new approach we are getting. I want to see how TOH handles everyone we have right now in VGCW and in the same vein see how JDB handles the guys he already has in EDBW when he writes for them in plot. I don't think we need to be thinking of roster cuts and new additions until at least half of the next season is over if not the full season.

I also think the current roster we have right now is the best it's ever been so can't say I agree with the bloated roster fact either. I do agree that there's a couple of EDBW stars who could be in VGCW now but a lot of those are I consider vital EDBW talents. Taking out the likes of top-tier VGCW ready guys like Demoman, Strong Bad and York at the same time would cripple his show because his newer additions need more time to step up to the level they are at right now. Maybe it's because I think of EDBW less of a development show now and more a Smackdown to VGCW's RAW and EDBW plot only enforces that for me.

Trading stars between the shows instead of culling them outright might help too and bring in new viewers in for EDBW while at the same time freshening up the VGCW roster. As an example take Ganondorf, Scorpion and Snake and swap them with Demoman, Dedede and Guybrush. VGCW gets 3 solid new talents and EDBW gets household names that people will tune in to see. The VGCW stars will stay on the EDBW roster for a while before going back to VGCW, with EDBW getting another 3 VGCW stars to take thier place. That's my idea to keep everything fresh and new without neccessarily deleting everyone.

WAIT A SEC.

You're right, now that EDBW is getting plot, we'll essentially have TWO VGCW's! And if fighters can be swapped out whenever the show runners want then that means we get twice the show, twice the plot, and twice the everything!

Oh now I'm excited, with this nobody needs to get fired at all!

EDBW is still developmental. Its purpose is still creating new stars for VGCW. I don't think John should be weighed down with the baggage of old VGCW wrestlers that don't really have much to do anymore. If EDBW starts getting flooded with the VGCW lowcard I will be very upset.

EDBW is more like NXT rather than Smackdown, seeing as the theme music to EDBW is literally the NXT theme music.

Also, the fact that 2 shows that have Male Wrestlers with plot on both shows doesn't equal job security for all. That's just absurd. If you don't fire those who are just not doing anything of note, then the roster stagnates and I'VE SAID THIS SAME THING LIKE 30 TIMES IN REGARD TO THIS. PEOPLE NEED TO GET FIRED FOR STUFF TO GET BETTER.

I'm not saying "Fire people right now gosh dang it" or "Let's discuss who should be fired!(this ended up so poorly)", but covering your eyes and ears and going "LALALALALALALA EVERYONE CAN STAY FOREVER" isn't something you should do.

Since we're moving into a new season with a new showrunner who has different ideas, I think that no one is on future endeavor watch until we deem them uninteresting in new episodes

No that's not what I meant. Characters still should still leave if they can't do the goods and neither showrunner can do anything with them anymore otherwise you end up with roster stagnation. That's why I listed strong VGCW talents in my example because they could actually work with the lesser EDBW stars. Someone in EDBW going over the likes of Scorpion or Ganondorf in a good match would make them vastly more appealing and give EDBW some more top stars.

Recent NXT as an example has become so much more than a development show than it was originally intended and has grown in popularity because of it.

Well to be honest, "firing" isn't as apt a term as "retiring". For instance, I can think of a couple people who could pull a move similar to AVGN, simply retire with a going away match, or even become legends. Bring them back occasionally for rumbles, End Games, whatever you want. That way, people can become inactive on the roster without being "fired" and people complaining "YOU FIRED MY FAVORITE!" because you gave them a nice and proper send off.

Okay, so people think I said that I think nobody will ever be fired ever again? I did not say that, that would be stupid.

I mean right NOW, maybe for at least season 11 nobody needs to leave. Later yes, now no.

More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.
To clear the air a bit, I do have a shortlist of people who I think can be expendable. That said, don't expect a purge or anything right off the bat. Keep in mind that I've watched this show as mostly a fan for the nearly three years it's been around, and now I get the chance to write for many of them in ways that I wish they were written previously. Why pass up that chance?

Basically, if you see someone coming out for a match or they show up in a plot scene, don't assume I'm keeping that around forever. I've got a unique chance to try some things out before they might go. But I know that cuts will be need to be made for new guys I'm hoping to bring in. I'll figure it out. But I need you guys to understand that it's also sort of a "kid in a candy store" situation if that makes any sense.

I'm not going to do mass purges, I'm not going to dump people on Twitter, I'll do things gracefully but trying not to do it too slowly either as I know we need the room.
