I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.

RIP Potato's jerb. Also, Haggar seemed majorly piss at Guile. I can only ponder as to why he is. |

Ladies Love it.

So, for Endgame we have Dracula vs Air Man for the VGCW Championship The Double Dragons vs Salvation Ops for the VGCW Co-Op Championships Groose vs ??? (Probably heavy) for the Casual Championship Edgeworth vs Pheonix Wright Kanji vs Gannondorf Haggar vs Guile (???) Since there's only one show left before endgame, the casual match seems likely to be Groose vs Heavy without a contender's match, since there would be very little time to set up any story between Groose and anyone else that could win the match, and this storytelling is too good to pass. With that stinger, Haggar vs Guile seems very likely, though, not confirmed. |

Guile was leader of the ring rangers, who attacked Haggar backstage, which got his memory's jumbled, which turned him into the bizarre bully Haggar that's been around for a while. Haggar is pissed that Guile was responsible for him becoming a submissive, idiotic stooge. |

X: Doubt
|
Did he really think he was above consequences for his actions? Did he think it was over because he beat up a movie star? |

Segata/Octodad are also definitely going to be involved in something, and Donkey Kong is also probably gonna be involved in a plot match. Wouldn't be surprised to see Vegeta doing something as King of The Beach either. |

I also expect something from the Sonic/Toad feud to come about. Even if it isn't for the belt. |

Oh yeah, and Sabin and Knux. Maybe they'll team against the Saiyans or have a singles match with each other or something. |

I feel like Vegeta is going to feel slighted when he doesn't get booked for End Game coming off his tournament wins, and when he goes to the head office to complain, Gary's gonna have his hands too full and eventually just say 'Fuck it, hold an open challenge if you want a match that bad'. And so he will. Spoiler: click to toggle

Fantastic episode this week all around. I've mentioned the matches in the character threads, but the plots were all amazing as well. Ganondorf angrily demanding to get booked at End Game due to legacy only for the eager young blood Kanji to tell him to get off his ass like the new guys was a neat calling out, and Kanji's just the guy to have the nerve to do that to Ganon. Also, I loved that line about Ganon fearing a teenager: In VGCW Link was a wash so Ganon's claim actually has some basis, yet in his own series Link wrecks him all the time. I love how the two canons basically mixed in that moment. Even when his promo got interrupted early, Count Dracula's silver tongue still delivered solid gold. Break Man was jonesing for his Glitch Man days, and I really liked how Air Man finally came into his own and pushed Break Man aside. That single promo has already made the match feel really tense, and all the name and phrase drops just flowed so well. They each raised some valid points about each other as well. I'd say more, but WVGCW is about to start. It's hard to believe there's even a show after this before End Game X1. The build up for all the feuds was superb, and it really feels like everyone is super motivated to bring their best. |
