The Sandcastle episode was equal parts great and awful. Awful because of that little girl that called everyone lame-os, great because of this guy.

(Also yeah the art style for Klasky-Csupo cartoons was disgusting, but at least Rugrats was a good show!)
You know what, you've convinced me.

We need Tito for Season 11.

Ugh.
All plot this season must take place in the green screen room with a beach in the background.
And all plot music is Sirena Beach from Super Mario Sunshine.

(Before anybody says anything I know this won't ever happen, although it would be amazing if it did)

Y'know I was thinking about Gary and his sudden and bizarre turn into a credible wrestler to the point where he became GM, where losing to him is suddenly not a big deal and beating him is actually a feat in of itself. And, I remembered something, who was the guy who ended up getting Gary his new CAW? Who was that first little stepping stone that led to where Gary is today? Who is the one man, whose entire career was completely and utterly destroyed by Gary? I get that Luigi's career was on VERY shaky ground at the time, but it was Gary who destroyed any chance of him being able to save himself.

I can honestly see a sad and dejected Luigi turn on the TV and turning on VGCW to see how things are going only to see Gary sitting in the big chair and absolutely LOSING IT.

All I'm saying is eventually, some day down the line Gary is going to get dethroned and kicked out of power (All GM's eventually step down at SOME point) and well, Illidan can't do it alone, and I can't think of anybody more potentially angry and full of hate other then the green hatted plumber. (Well maybe Red, but shut up I'm fantasizing.)

Red and Illidan have actual credibility, though.

People are really jumping the gun on calling to release talent, neglecting to think of the unique situation VGCW currently finds itself in it's current transition.
We have a new show runner with new ideas, a "staff" of community members which has gained additional members and are more closely involved in helping run the show than before and a new season of which there are boundless storyline opportunities.

There are plenty of opportunities for wrestlers stuck in the bottom of the barrel in strength (like Falcon for example) or wrestlers who never really got much of an opportunity in plot (like Fernandez Goemon) to have an opportunity through plot, matches, CAW/Moveset editing to change their luck around.
Yes while it's very unlikely that everyone will get to stay around as active wrestlers in the roster I doubt any releases in the future are going to be as abrupt as Tingle's (although hilarious), Diddy's or Ness' and at the very least they'll likely be given build up to a strong note to leave on.

If the wrestler in question is released in a dignified way then I'm much more okay with it happening. The way Ness and Diddy got fired was just... cruel.

I'm starting to hope that TOH doesn't release anyone for the next 5 seasons just to spite everyone here.

TOH just keeps adding more and more wrestlers until End Game is 6 different 3v3 tags and a 40 man Rumble and people are still left out

Sort of relates to the current topic.

I rewatched Ganondorf vs. Bowser III (aka 8-7) and enjoyed it while noting the different gameplay mechanics. However, what I most noticed was the chat, which reminded me of things as a whole back then. So many people were upset that Ganon lost, yet for nearly a year afterward that same chat exploded with "32-5", "8-7", "muh pride", "1,000 years of jobbing", and so on. The crowd atmosphere was especially vivid and free form back then, but the audience really went full "make or break" as well. To go over or stay over was a very difficult thing, characters could have their wings clipped or drop from relevance quickly, and early impressions were absolutely everything; Ryo and Kazuya's careers were sealed on debut by a KO and a ring break respectively. Ganon had to work hard and keep winning for over a year to stay relevant and keep his legacy, and that win is perhaps what saved Bowser's career, as (IIRC) Bazza really didn't like the CAW at the time and the fan demand might not have cut it without that hook. The guys who are still around survived this long for a reason.

Nowadays the crowd doesn't seem nearly as hair-trigger or judgmental. Characters are more likely to be given an opportunity or time to renew themselves, and the fact that there isn't a 50 CAW hard cap also helps with that. I think the odds of a purge or an immediate drop of someone on hard times like Goemon, Segata, Jensen, the Heavy, etc. are nil. Those guys will likely be given a chance to break out or carve their own path now, and the audience has generally become more receptive of good or unique performances too, as opposed to just the win.

Basically, the era for such levels of Panic Mode has passed, Wily, Wario, and co. will be fine for now, and Waluigi and Red probably won't ever be fired.

I maintain that the only wrestler with 100% job security is Waluigi, the show could end completely and he would still show up every week wondering where everybody went.

Waluigi is eternal. And I don't mean he'll ever get a legends contract ether, he will ALWAYS be on roster.

Waluigi's charisma and overall match quality pretty much make him untouchable. He's pretty much the VGCW poster boy. He's had a quiet season since "winning" the Jobber tournament, but you can easily pick off a bunch of great matches he's had. Against Wario, Arino, Dracula, Dr Eggman, Kefka. I just hope his tag team can pick up against now that Wario is starting to look more aggressive, like he actually gives a damn.

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!
I'd like to think Vegeta has the same security just because he was concieved entirely within the VGCW universe. The Badman character is a VGCW trademark!
