FUN AND LIGHTHEARTED, TOH! I DIDN'T ASK FOR FEELS

Joking aside, amazing work. I'm still salty about Kanji (and that Deadly Alliance wasn't the ones to challenge DD) but otherwise this whole season is a work of art.
I salute you, TOH!

You did a fantastic job TOH (and Cran and everybody else involved). This was my first season of VGCW I ever watched live (I caught up shortly after Endgame X) and it really blew me away. I don't really have any complaints apart from Bowser not being undisputed champion of the world and holding all the belts. You done good!

All the thanks and good thoughts are uplifting and appreciated, but I really can't stress enough just how vital that Kryptik was to this whole ordeal. That guy does more work than anyone should be expected to do, and he's covered my ass way more than I'd like to admit.

A rose, by any other name...
Now that fucker TOH on the other hand...

But, no, seriously. This season revitalized my interest in VGCW with the absolutely stellar writing and production. There were some occasional hiccups, but on the whole, I feel this easily ranks as one of the best seasons ever, and everyone on the creative team should be grotesquely proud of themselves.

Oh, and a special shout out to Fits, who has a really rough job and does it superbly, he's always reliable and quick to address issues with uploads, and we all should appriciate him more.

Fucking yes!

Like, okay. Octodad beating Break Man was just short of guaranteed because Break Man got the Glitch Bomb; the Glitch Bomb doesn't work in 2k14. It was supposed to show the dynamics and differences between the games, because DK also had the Glitch Bomb, at full power. Segata was basically set up to lose.

He didn't.
No way...

Just when you think you've seen it all...this game gives you something like that...that's amazing.
And that game was WWE '13! Holy shit.

Just caught up. Holy shit the finale was packed.

Zangief beating Sho was funny, move over new stars and all that.

Jester plot was hilarious. Amazing way to feature the guys without scheduled matches.

Sonic got his revenge on Toad. I was rooting for Toad tbh but Sonic needs something so it's nice that he won. Knuckles winning was also cool, he has been moving up consistently these past seasons.

Haggar and Heavy winning their matches was also great. Groose was a good champion but it's always fun when someone new gets the title.

Ganon winning makes me happy. I'll always root for him.

AVGN segment was fun. Cool throwback.

I wanted Salvation Ops to win. Oh well, can't hate the Dragons though. They worked hard for their titles and they won't lose them easy. Snake continues to have a hard life... He's quickly reaching Barret levels of choking.

The Shark battle is one of the best produced things ever in this show. Seriously, it was awesome. The plot was also great, with Break Man taking a heel move and DK, well, being glitched. Son of Kong made me lol hard. I feel bad I never played Sega Saturn.

Although I was hype for the Triple Crown, I'm glad Drac won. He's always been one of my faves and if he hadn't deffended it'd have been a bit lame. I hope Air Man gets another chance though.

Poor DK. He's cool but I guess his character is hard to make very interesting consdiering he's just a brute monkey. At least he had an amazing run with many titles in VGCW. Segata had a less impressive carreer but he had funny moments like his classic backstage run back then in 2013 (I think?). I hope either of them aren't ruled out for a return in the future (if Segata is still alive that is haha).

This was truly Infinite Summer haha. Amazing job! Teases for next season are hype too. Who was the second silhouette btw?

Just for the record, I, for one, was welcoming our new robot overlords and Drac ruined everything as usual.

Great show, just caught up. I'm sorry if this has probably been addressed a million times, but is VGCW going to be pre-recorded going forward?

I took something like a 3 month break of the show during this season due to just not having enough time to watch it anymore. But i got back on the wagon a month or so ago and have been slowly making my way through the backlog, and this may be one of my favourite seasons of VGCW yet. Endgame 11 would almost certainly be my favourite ppv if not for the fact that its sheer length had me completely burnt out by the end. Thanks Toh, for putting on a great show!

One small thing I really appreciated about Endgame was the set up for new feuds and storyline that happened right at the end. Not just the reveal of Shadaloo as the new main villains of season 12 but some foreshadowing of Armstrong being up to something and Sho having had some involvement with the Gameshark as well. Its helped get me pretty hyped for season 12 and i'm really looking forward to it.

Wow, I really thought the Segeta and Octodad matches had fixed winners, I'm actually kind of blown away at that.

Now that I'm actually awake and can put together a mostly coherent sentence;

Huge congratulations to TOH, Cran and everyone else involved on a spectacular show! Great matches all night long and entertaining from start to finish. With some shows/matches being prerecorded for various reasons, I was worried that some matches would be fixed to go the way the team wanted, but I was pleasantly suprised to see some unpredictable finishes to matches. Segata and Donkey Kong got written off in a good way, two veterans like those guys deserved to have a decent send off. Having the story end and yet still continue into the next season with Bison getting a main storyline role is a great move, giving someone who hasn't had time to be himself get some screen time and show what he can do in a plot posistion.
Yo, thanks man.

And yeah, we were worried with the controversies lately that the prerecorded stuff would get called out, but they haven't, so that's a load of. Even if they had, the recorded was for the sake of enhancing footage rather than to rig, and we edited around the winners after the fact.

Like...Segata beating Glitched DK isn't a result we fixed, it just happened.

It never happened in test matches.

It was amazing.
The sheer beauty of this game, sometimes...

Anyway, mind telling what stuff from EGX1 was prerecorded? At this point, I can't tell what gets prerecorded and what doesn't, heh.
I want to say Segata/Octodad's dual match, but that might have been live top-tier editing for all I know.

Man, you guys did a fantastic job with EGX1.

I've always been a huge proponent of doing it live, but I'd be dumb to say that the pre-recorded stuff didn't help make the show about a million times more epic. I think using pre-rec for big match events and live otherwise is a great system, if that's the intention.
