Well when you guys put it that way...I guess it is pretty situational, huh? I guess it depends on what kind of match it is, kinda like what Desu said; if it's just a regular match, then play some normal tracks (Burning Rangers & a bunch of Persona Music is a good example), but saving the big songs for a Title Match or Blow-off Match makes more sense. It's actually a bit complicated when you think about it! Edited by HereComesTheChief, Jul 17 2015, 07:13 AM.

As long as Final Countdown remains the rumble theme everything is fine. |

OBJECTION!
|
As long as we don't get to hear lyrics-less MGR music (which was just fucking terrible and dumb) ever again, I'm fine with everything. I mean the Metal Gear series has so much good music that isn't from Rising that you could use for the Senator. |

Wha? I like both the lyric and lyricless MGR tracks. And using the lyric versions for big matches loses its oomph if we never play the lyricless versions. We already have Snake for MGS music, throw Ocelot in the mix and we're cooking with gas. |

Rising Tracks without Lyrics is the equivalent of a Bacon Sandwich without the Bacon; you can still eat it, and it still tastes nice, but it just doesn't feel the same without the Bacon.

Alright, dudes?
|
Desu and Gief if my music choices bother you to the point of calling me "absolutely stupid" and "fucking terrible and dumb" then you both need to not take the show so seriously. Nothing I have ever done on VGCW should ever bother someone to the point of getting angry, swearing or insulting. |

I never explicitly said that "Bazza's ideas and practices in Music playing is absolutely stupid". I'm more harping on the idea of that existing and not the person behind it doing said actions. It could've been BRYN or John doing the same thing and I would have the same response to the idea of it happening and not the person. If anything, you're taking it too seriously when all I'm doing is basically insulting instrumentals for existing in comparison to the lyrical version being superior. |

Dunno why people are making big deal of lyrics in a show where a eco-terrorist recently beat an octopus in a suit with a trash can. I'm fine either way. |

Look people, I'm just going to play music that I feel is fitting. If it works, it works. If it doesn't work, oh well. No big deal, there's plenty of music out there, we all have different tastes and I'm not going to be able to appeal to 100% of the audience. That's just how it goes. I don't want this being made a big deal out of. The entire point of this season is to lighten up and do fun, cheesy things, taste in music be damned. This isn't meant to be performance art, a live, sponsored TV show meant to bring in revenue, or anything remotely professional. It's just good clean fun. That's all I want to provide. If anyone's going to argue about the littlest of things, then they need to step back and realize that this is a show about video game characters wrestling each other on at a beach. It's meant to be dumb fun, not analyzed to the finest of details. That's all I'm going to say about this subject. Can we please move on? |

Thinking about exhibition ladder match, I remembered one of dumb idea I had. It would be funny if there's a ladder match where all wrestlers would put something valuable in the briefcase as entry fee, and the winner who grabs the briefcase wins it all. I though about Edgeworth and Travis feuding over anime DVD, and the feud escalating into gigantic silly mess. Exhibition ladder matches are cool. But if ladder match is going to be TOH special, I wanna see silly stuff that we can laugh about as stipulations. |

Ladder Matches are the perfect excuse to have silly feuds, and they are usually pretty entertaining anyway, so I welcome this. |
