Remember last year when we were excited for this?
Would Pallet Town even have a stadium? Indigo Plateau would be great though.

Also I've amused myself with the possibilty of Live: Inside the TV

Location announcement graphics would be cool.

Another graphic I would like to see are match cards. Use it as a way to fill in loading times by announcing a surprise match or upcoming matches in future shows.

That's a pretty cool idea. Maybe have a plot scene with the hometown boy too. Kefka or someone close to the hometown guy asking him how he feels about being back in his hometown would give us an insight on the character and would work well for some of the lesser known ones adding a bit more to there character.

Let's never bring it to Barret's home town though...The Gold Saucer right next it would be pretty rad if it had a Wrestle Square though.

Not to gush too much about this idea, but I feel like a Pokemon stadium would be super easy, too. You could just ripoff the layout of that one stage from... I wanna say Melee? Brawl maybe?

Midgar and Outland are two other ones that spring to mind that are very stylistic but straightforward.

I like the "VGCW World Tour" idea a lot. :)

Anyway, I put myself in TOH's shoes and realized that booking all these different people is actually really hard. For funzies I fantasy booked the next episode and tried to get all the people who haven't shown up yet on the show, and following the same formula as the last couple of episodes.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Some of this is just thrown together shit but others is stuff I really wanna see, like Dan vs Scorpion and any excuse for Gary to go wrestle.

Instead of trying to create arena for every region of world (real or fiction), locations with distinct visual should be chosen. That way, people can immediately recognize which location the show is at. Mushroom Kingdom and Pokemon Stadium are obvious examples. Planet Funkatron with neon color schemes and funky music booming for entire night could be funny.

Of course, this is assuming that customized arenas will be used for different location.

To Each Future
To echo some other people's thoughts, I like the idea of a VGCW: World Tour; it would keep things fresh and it would give each episode a theme of sorts, while also advancing plotlines, and giving wrestlers who are overlooked or not wrapped up in anything at the moment fun little plotlines for the evening, while also giving them screen time.

For example, you could have Shadow Moses Island for Snake & Armstrong, the Shadow World for Kanji (Hey, the arena already exists!), the Dragon's Neck Coliseum / Opera House for Sabin & Kefka, the Courtroom for Phoenix & Edgeworth, and the various locations mentioned already for Red & Gary.

The only problem I could see with this is the effort required to make a specific arena for each episode; considering each season lasts around 12 Episodes (discounting special events like Star Road), it could be considered too much work. I think it would pay off, but who knows?

Well...you could handwave it as Armstrong using his connections at World Marshall to strap a bunch of rockets to the stadium so it could be moved.

Or he could just carry the stadium on his back from place to place.

Why not just actively rotate them? There's no reason they should be one-and-done. You could even derive seasonal/annual pay-per-view names out of it, kind of like how Summerslam has largely been associated with Los Angeles.

Pay-per-views named after marquee wrestlers is an already established thing(both in real fake wrestling and VGCW, as per Challenge Tower and Scorpion) and it's also dope as hell. Remember In Your House: __________? Imagine In Your Console: Rumble in the Jungle or whatever. It's immaculate!

Nothing even needs to change with the arenas or anything fancy. Heck a sign at the start or a simple photo of the location with VGCW IS LIVE AT X CITY just overlayed over it would do for me. For more fancy stuff grab an FMV of the location and play it for a bit such as the start of FF7 with the Midgar panarama and just say VCW IS LIVE AT MIDGAR TONIGHT!

I think we are imaginative enough to visualise it ourselves really rather than go overboard with an arena that'll only be seen once.

It could be like a pre-show thing. I'm picturing the Arena pre-show imagery but instead of Castlevania, Chicago it's like Midgar and the text reads "LIVE FROM MIDGAR!" or something.

How much would it cost to hire Tony Schiavone to voice a bunch of "WE ARE LIVE AT THE _________ IN _______" soundbites these days? Like, 6 dollars and a sandwich?

On the subject of different arenas, why not a VGCW Retro Night? Style it like the '13 arena, use some of the old shitty CAWs and themes (Sanic and Gorilla DK come to mind) And of course, it's an opportunity to see beloved retired wrestlers wrestle without having them take up a roster slot. Maybe also have some rematches of famous matches like a Wario Ware/Gerudo Skies II or DK v. Air Man Hell in a Cell.
