CUTE!

Wish I had a Wii U because this looks really damn fun. I'm really interesting to see what kinds of unique levels people come up with. |

In case no one saw it the first time, I'll say it again. Custom sound effects are removed in uploaded videos. Edited by BelmontLegend, Aug 22 2015, 02:00 PM.

Seems kinda lame and probably okay at the same time. Thought number 2: Getting around that will be incredibly easy. Edited by BelmontLegend, Aug 22 2015, 02:03 PM.

The wonders of editing and while it wouldn't be doable on the Wii U, that I'm aware of anyway, I'd love to see an option to upload custom sprites for your game and be able to use them Edited by slashkamei, Aug 22 2015, 02:22 PM.

So for shits and giggles, I made what I believe to be the maximum size of a Super Mario Maker level to scale from me dissecting apart videos. From what I can tell each the maximum is 10 "screens" wide by 2 tall. Each screen is 24 blocks wide by 14 blocks tall, except the top row of screens which are only 13 blocks tall. Again, I might be off but from watching videos this is what I believe to be the case. That makes a Super Mario Maker Level a maximum of 240 blocks wide and 27 blocks tall. Here is the rather large image. Feel free to mess around in paint or whatever. I grabbed the tiles from The Spriters Resource. |

A bit of a shame that we can't seem to make vertical levels, but it'll still be fun. |

I really think they'll be expanding on this game. Especially with the way they deal out content under "shipments". I think they could easily add a vertical level option. |

I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.
|
What if it turns out 9 days isn't the end for content shipments, and Nintendo's master ruse is that there will continue to be shipments at later times for new stuff infinitely? Or at least, until the WiiU is ded online-wise. |

That's what I'm sort of saying. The shipments are a good content delivery system, but I'm sure any new content will be announced online like they've been doing for Splatoon. Also if there is anything secret still on disc, there will be people who'll crack that shit wide open. |
