I'm really glad Wario got a win after all the build-up to a non-Waluigi opponent. Him losing to a perpetual sad sack could easily have sunk him. Considering it was his loss to the same sad sack that got people starting to call for his head in Season 9... yeah that's pretty true. In retrospect that was a REALLY risky rematch for Wario to have.
Also there's just something that amuses me about Zubaz being above Illidan by the end of this season, especially considering The Baz's awful start to his singles career in general. Honestly curious if he's actually bad or just incredibly, undoubtedly, cripplingly unlucky at getting finishers off.

Illidan's so low down because he hasn't actually had many fights against people high on the rankings for a while now. His last three wins were against Snake, Hideo Itami and Bazza. He lost twice to Snake right after beating him, Bazza wasn't very high on the rankings himself, and Hideo wasn't ON the rankings so he didn't get anything from that.
A season of regular fights will do Illidan some good, because he was only booked twice for the whole of Season X.

Welcome to midcard hell, Population: 20
35: Octodad From the great barrier reef, the ordinary human father... OCTODAD!
In-Ring: Never actually eliminated in a six-man due to 2kwality, Beat Air Man, eliminated first in a six-man
In-Plot: None
Well, Octodad had an interesting, if quiet season. Shoved into two separate six-mans, neither of which went particularly well, for entirely different reasons. But he pulled a massive upset in his one singles match, FINALLY managing to vanquish the murderous robot who had destroyed him so many times in the past. This ordinary family man is still just really hard to evaluate though, and he's kinda the epitome of midcard. Keep doing your thing, Octodad.
Trending: Inconclusive
34: Vegeta From the planet Vegeta, Representing the Bad Men, he is the Prince of all Saiyans, the Bad Man... VEGETA!
In-Ring: Lost to Johnny Cage, Beat Groose, Lost to Sabin.
In-Plot: Joined TJ&E against the Bullies, failed to stop the Nightmare
If there's one thing a Saiyan always keeps, it's their job. Vegeta kinda went back to his old ways this season, putting over a couple of struggling wrestlers who needed to be put over. To make matters worse, his season ended with Nightmare Gabe putting him in the ground. But it wasn't all bad, he did get to beat the shit out of the current casual champion, and if Vegeta can get a small win or two, he may as well try to go for the triple crown while he's stuck in the midcard. His plot as Nappa's straight man continues to amuse, and Vegeta's pretty much got infinite job security at this point.
Trending: Down
33: Red From Pallet Town... RED!
In-Ring: Lost a handicap match to Kefka and Segata, eliminated last in a six-man
In-Plot: Talked Hercule into fighting the Nightmare
Welp. Your arch-enemy is running VGCW, has no problems abusing his power to fuck you over, and your tag team partner got fired. But things aren't all bad for Red. He was a finisher reversal away from making a massive statement and catapulting up the power rankings, while he finally buried the hatchet with Dan, bringing back the hero of earth to aid him against the Nightmare. Plus his new Mirror Move technique is guaranteed to add some hilarity to his matches. After a quiet season 10, Red's about ready to break out of this funk Scorpion put him in and hopefully break out of the midcard.
Trending: Up
32: The Heavy From Siberia, representing Three Mean Bullies... THE HEAVY!
In-Ring: Lost to Toe Jam and Earl twice, Beat Falcon, eliminated third in a Casual Contenders six man, eliminated second in a triple threat.
In-Plot: Part of the Bullies feud VS TJ&E
A rough season for the Heavy. His only win this season was against frequent loser Captain Falcon, his contender's match ended with him getting flattened, and he looked like a complete goober in the tag matches against those vile aliens. (Save us, X-COM). It's about time to break the Bullies up. Haggar's too good for the stable, Groose doesn't need the minions, and Heavy's basically looking like a background character at this point.
Heavy needs to strike out on his own and get himself a good singles push, because Demoman's firing up developmental, and there's a very real risk we could be seeing a class change if Heavy doesn't get his act together.
Trending: Singles: Inconclusive / Tags: Down
31: Johnny Cage Please welcome Mr. John Carlton, Blue-eyed actor from Venice California... he's here.. he's hot... he's JOHNNY CAAAAGE!
In-Ring: Beat Vegeta, Lost to the Practice, Lost to Kanji, Lost to the Birds, Eliminated second in a casual contenders match, Beat Knuckles
In-Plot: None
This has been looking like Mortal Kombat 3 for Johnny this season. His tag team with Sabin is not exactly setting the world on fire, but a bit of plot together, and some teamwork seminars could turn this around. The other problem for Johnny is the roller coaster that is his singles career. Things started good, but then newcomer Kanji ran his momentum off the tracks, and getting slaughtered in the Casual Contender's match was hell for his power ranking. But Johnny ended his season on a high note, taking out Knuckles to avoid ending the season in the low card, and he just needs to take that momentum and not get derailed this time on his way back up the charts.
Trending: Singles: Up / Tags: Down
A bunch of rough seasons all around, but this is a group that can definitely get past it.

There's one word to describe this batch of wrestlers.
Inconsistent.
This also makes this group of wrestlers a ton of fun to get behind because you never know which side of them is going to show up in a match and it makes for a lot of tension.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Octodad was let go, but I would be surprised if he was the first.
Anyways, the batch are still young. They can still achieve shit and look good in plot/in-ring!

Octodad is in the same boat for me as Waluigi and Kefka. They don't bring much match quality with them, but they bring a lot of charm that I think we'd miss if they ever left. I don't expect 10/10 performances from everyone, only Bison is capable of that. I just like seeing these sort of guys show up, and once in a while, we'll be given some gold from it that you would never expect.
Waluigi vs Dracula, Waluigi vs Wario, Kefka vs Groose, Kefka in the Elimination Chamber, Octodad...well, he hasn't had many stand out matches lately, but I was laughing my ass of at Octocamo and #OCTOMANIA. I think he's still got some fuel in him. Dunno how long until he starts running low, but I'll enjoy what he has until them.
