NOPE.
|
Looked it up, if you include tags and multimans, Nappa is an amazing 23-5 in 2K14. He's one win away from having as many wins in '13 as he has here, with 19 less losses. Edited by Prozach, Jul 11 2015, 11:29 PM.

With this information having come to light, and confirmed by others allow me to make the observation. What's Nappa even doing here anymore? He has NOTHING to prove to anybody, give the doofus a Legends contract already. |

thank you big match jon
|
He should at least make an attempt at Phoenix's win streak before then. After that though give him a vacation and a legends contract. |

Okay fine that's fair, and if Nappa wins he can come back if somebody else gets close to beating his singles record. But make this his last huge hurra because JESUS. |

Nappa's on top of the world. I really enjoy him in the ring, and I really enjoy him in plot. He's had his own share of good and bad matches, but overall I find him to be a consistently entertaining performer. |

Ladies Love it.
|
Technical wise, his matches arn't generally great But he sure knows how to do storytelling in his ringwork. I want a PPV match between him and Pheonix, then, He can get Ganondorf semi legends booking. You know where he just sort of shows up in a fatal fourway every now and again and we all go "Well, we know who's winning this one." |

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time

Nappa has by far the most matches of anyone in the company. I love the guy but legends contract talk is legitimate. He's an iconic part of VGCW and it'd be weird to not have him around regularly, though. |

Legends contracts are a weird thing to talk about in general. We're basically saying "Great job, you've done so much for us and you've done all you can. So, go away we'll call you for cameos now and again" If you twisted my arm I would say give contracts to Nappa, Scorpion, & Ganondorf. And honestly I think I would bring Mac back, for.. some reason, while I do think he's a legend I feel like there's more for him to do. Where as the other three have literately been here sense the start and have just about every accolade possible for there characters. |

The Youngblood Era will come again. Ganondorf basically already does have a legends contract. He had one match last season. |

Pretty good evaluations as a whole, though I don't think anyone was doubting Ganon's status as legitimate for losing to Nightmare "made to murder everyone" Gabe. Also, it sounds a little odd to say Scorpion's trending down after cementing himself in VGCW history as the only champion with double-digit defenses. Ganon has also lived like he has a Legends Contract and might actually be getting one, so between that and only really putting over three people in his career (Bowser, Octodad, Duke) I wouldn't say he "actually knows how to put people over" either. Liked this thread as a whole and glad you made a version of this for the men's show. It's neat to see that Nappa has a flawless singles record in 2K14 too; the dude's a silent behemoth. I could see him getting a few extra singles matches for the heck of it, maybe some fun little feuds that might fit with what TOH's aiming for, but aside from that Nappa does look like a good candidate for a Legends Contract. |

I feel like it's a really dumb idea to give all our strongest wrestlers a Legends contract because it removes an incentive to reach their level. Once you win enough matches, you leave and we get bored of you? We wouldn't WANT our faves to win matches if we knew they were just going to be put on a bus when they do. The idea of the "Rub" you get from beating a super strong and immortal wrestler may be practically impossible to manufacture, you can't force a wrestler into that situation and expect the perfect outcome, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It just happens randomly. Nappa doesn't need to be a huge deal when he comes out to fight someone, if he shows up rarely, so be it. When he does lose one day, no one will expect it, and it will be fantastic for someone's career. We don't need to force it like we tried with Scorpion. But just letting him build up that amazing record and waving goodbye to him without him getting anything from it is a bit unfair. Besides, even if he won the championship some more times, he only wants to defend it in ridiculous and silly ways, so he'll never hold it for very long. |
