The plots this season have been phenomenal, and I like how everyone has appeared pretty evenly. If there's just one thing I would add, it's that I hope the titles don't take too long to return. Having some build to the established contenders is fine, but if we go for say five episodes and we still don't have the actual belts, I'd be a little upset. |

Learning to make a good caw since 2k13

Well how about quit killing Toad each episode for starters? No but really I wouldn't mind seeing some cross plot between VGCW and WVGCW, even if its minor Or a belt that is always defended each week like the TV championship that ECW and I think TNA had at one point, it would give certain wrestlers that don't have plot for the season something to do, call it the Portable Gaming Championship or something Besides that, I don't have any real complaints, VGCW has been very good, do keep it up Edited by slashkamei, Jul 29 2015, 03:15 PM.

thank you big match jon

It's way too early in the season to make a proper judgement. However, you managed to get someone over in one plot scene, so I have high hopes. |

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I'll try to limit my positive list to just three for now. 1) I love the plot scenes so far, especially the little one-on-one conversations like Ezio and Falcon, or Drac and Armstrong. Every plot scene so far has oozed personality. Every comment fits the character, I can totally imagine anyone of them speaking in their actual voice when they say something. I want to see as many little interactions like this as possible, though I know there's often, ya know, a storyline to follow that means we can't have them, but I love seeing little tidbits of wrestlers acting outside the ring. 2) The gimmick matches have been fantastic so far. Two episodes in, and we've had a ladder match, a tables match, a 2/3 falls match and a (Johnny) Cage match. The variety is exciting, it keeps things from going stale, and it makes each episode feel more active. I hope we can continue with this trend, bringing in more match types that we rarely saw before. Have we ever had a KO match in the main VGCW show? It's time to try it! KNOCK KNOCK (OUT), IT'S KNUCKLES! 3) The main event scene is stacked! So freaking stacked! It's easy to forget how GOOD VGCW's topcard is, and it's growing more and more thanks to Travis and Johnny jumping into the fray. Whenever we don't have a title match going on, this is what I want to see. I want to topcard vs topcard action, and if we've got a midcarder looking ready to jump into the topcard, the Main Event would be a fantastic place for them to solidify themselves in it. |

One criticism I have(It's honestly not a criticism as it is more of just a request) is more Knuckles. The one time Knuckles was used right in plot, people loved it. They wanted so much of Knuckles and I really don't want Knuckles to go on a fast track to being "FUCK YEAH KNUCKLES" to "oh hey it's knuckles i guess". He's got star power for sure and I want to see more of him being used in VGCW. |

I'll get to this one before TOH and other friends do: I asked about implementing a WCW-style TV title (I called it the Free-2-Play Championship) during the change-over period from Baz Generation to the AtTOHtude Era and the answer I got was that VGCW has too many belts to keep track of and book for already. |

I'll add that I'll try to chime in as I can, no guarantees on responding to anyone. Sometimes I just don't really have a response, whether it's because of something secret planned or there's not really anything to respond to. Don't expect me to reply to everyone.
My plan's to reintroduce the belts for their respective title matches. Sabin/Kanji is next episode, so you'll see the VGCW title then. It's pretty likely the Co-Op belts get episode 4. Casual, episode 5, maybe? Not totally sure on that yet. I'm not looking to drag it out.
Crossover's something I'd love to do. I just want to get settled first, and then it's a matter of collaboration, which can have challenges. The weekly belt defense, eh, I'm not huge on that. The Casualette belt just came off the open challenge thing. I think having another belt actually limits booking possibilities, because that forces one match to HAVE to require a certain person. I don't think everything needs a belt behind it, there's plenty of other stories to tell without one. |

If it helps with some insight, before the season I worked with Cran and Kryptik to create a "character dartboard." Basically, we listed every person on the roster and just brainstormed things for everyone. It helped us find some interesting potential feuds and storylines, and the best part is that everyone got something. So yeah, saying "Creative's got nothing" doesn't apply. It's more a matter of being able to actually fit in everything we want to do, which can be tough with a roster of this size. For Knuckles specifically, he just won a 6-man ladder, there's no way we just ignore that. |

Guile did nothing wrong

I mentioned in my tragically mistimed similar thread that it would be cool to see these awesome main events that have going on so far have a little build up. Maybe have a promo between the two earlier in the night or something. For something like Cage and Phoenix it would probably just sort of be a respect thing or showboating by Cage, but Duke and Bowser could have had some top tier banter. I don't have any criticisms but EDBW crossover matches would be awesome (Snake vs Liquid when). Also, while it's too soon to really judge this, I hope EVERYTHING won't be completely light hearted. Blood feuds are an important part of wrestling. |

It's a tough balancing act. There's so many plot scenes we'd love to do, but there's only so much we can get into an episode. So we opted to give the plot focus to characters that needed it, whether to get them on a good start or for story/build purposes. And we're not 100% lighthearted, don't worry. It's more of that, but I know there's value in some serious stuff. This is inspired by video games, after all, that's a medium with plenty of that. Edited by TOH, Jul 29 2015, 03:28 PM.

NOPE.

Booking has been really solid so far, with the caveat that it's only been two episodes so it's kinda hard to over or underbook someone. That being said, everything seems to have a purpose behind it, which I felt was lacking before. Each match seems to have some stakes, whether or not it's to debut a new and improved version of a wrestler (like Falcon, Sonic or Raijin), further a storyline (like Fuckheads/Bullies) or to establish the top card scene (the last two main events). That sorta inherent "everything is important" feeling while still being lighthearted as a show is good to see. One thing I would like to see more of (and this isn't a criticism since it's nothing that needs changing) are more show crossover opportunities. I always enjoyed the cameos when Phoenix would appear in WVGCW or Zelda would appear in VGCW, and I feel like that line can be blended even further with VGCW's new start and make it really seem like a VGCW Network. For example, Chie and Kanji could appear on each other's show now and talk about how they each got contendership, or Sabin and Terra could talk about being champions, or Barret and Tifa could hang out, or Team Rockette and Gary/Red, etc. More cameos in general would be great to see. |

The first crossover that needs to happen is Cooking Mama and Duke Nukem and if I don't receive this I will complain, TOH. The show is great right now but if that isn't the first crossover plot in VGCW so help me. |

I'm a big fan of silly things. Can we silly matches like "Loser wears a #PushGief shirt for the next X episodes" or "Hair/Hat matches where the loser loses their headwear or has to dye their hair hot pink"? Speaking of #PushGief, more people wearing VGCW Merch would be neat. |

This is pretty much what I said in season 11 thread, condensed into 5 words. Pole matches. We need more. |
