Great show tonight, technical difficulties aside. It's also good to see that the Shadoloo plot seems to have finally kicked into high gear. I still have a hard time caring about Ezio's quest to save Captain Falcon, but the clone army stuff was pretty great and I'm happy to see that you guys seem to be going with a "Bison is getting desperate after all his failures" angle instead of trying to just keep trudging along like all the loses don't matter. If I had to guess, I bet Bison never planned on sending out the Blood Falcons in mass before, but with all the loses adding up and no one fearing him, he had to do something to make a statement. |

I'm not gonna lie; I've been kind of gassed on VGCW recently, but seeing that moment of silliness mixed with the Falcons also being something to be concerned about in plot really got me back into it. Looking back, I think the goofiness mixed with threatening made VGCW plot villains really interesting. If it's on an extreme or leaning towards one on either side, the villain gets exponentially harder to get into. For example, I like stuff like Senator Wright/Phoenix Wrong and God Kefka (while still menacing there were funny moments as he was being fought) as opposed to Wily and Eggman's robot army and Nightmare Gabe. I think that's a certain charm of VGCW that we've needed back for a while now. All in all, good show! Edited by Sciencejoe, Jun 28 2016, 09:40 PM.

Alright, first post in the Feedback thread, since last night's show deserves it. My thoughts on previous episodes are largely the same as everyone else's, so I won't spend that much time on them. Shadaloo acts all tough in plot but keeps getting beaten by everyone in matches, the whole thing bring too plot-driven, questionable booking, etc. The stuff we've heard multiple times (and with good reason). However, last night's show was a real treat. The matches were pretty interesting, Shadaloo didn't really take center stage for once and the Blood Falcon stuff was better than it has ever been this season. Let's start at the matches: the first one was pretty good. The Mavericks really should have wrestled more this season. The Triple Threat was hilarious because of Haggar doing jackshit for a huge part of the match, then getting bodied by Kefka. The match between Groose and Dan was pretty good too. Both are good wrestlers that should get the chance to move away from the midcarders. The last match is what should have been done with Blood Falcon from the beginning: he should have had matches against other lowcarders so he doesn't appear to be that big of a jobber. Missed opportunity. I like the fact that Blood Falcon has finally won a match, but it's too late now. Also, Ezio should resign. Beaten by Blood Falcon :^) . But now, let's talk about plot. This episode probably has the best plots of this entire season. The Ridley+Bowser+Groose one was great, but the best thing of all time has to be the last plot. This is what VGCW plot should be: goofy and fun. The army of Blood Falcons was just so random and hilarious. This might be my favorite VGCW plot of all time. Now I'm not saying every VGCW plot should be like this, but a bit more of this and a bit less of the 'super serious edgy dark' stuff really wouldn't hurt. Blood Falcon is just one big joke and this plot embraced that joke instead of trying to convince us that we should take this seriously. I was laughing my ass of during it and I hope this happens more often from now on. In short: this episode is a huge imptovement on everything. Please continue walking down this path. |

The curtain jerk for this most recent episode is copyright-claimed and banned in the UK. Save us, Fits! What a hell of an episode that was though! I feel bad for missing it live. Thanks, TOH et al.! |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?

Fits already covered it in the Season discussion thread, but as that's often a spoiler-filled place, there's a mirror here. |

This episode ruled, probably the best since X1. Way to lean into all the criticisms and 2Kuality, team. Now just book my favorites and rig the matches so they win and we're all good. |

Just gonna echo this here: I skipped this match for unrelated reasons, and I really wish I hadn't now, because it was a phenomenal show, from great matches, to great plot, and even greatly silly 2Kuality moments. It turns out the hero we needed all along was, like, 50 Blood Falcons. |

I do feel this hit the nail on the head as to what type of plot works in VGCW, just do crazy shit like this, the show doesn't seem to do very well when you try to do serious plot with the cast it has, or thats how I feel anyhow. |

It's upsetting to hear that people want to outright dismiss serious plot points for VGCW. |

I don't think serious plot should be outright dismissed, but I do think that it has a higher risk of falling flat. For me personally, this whole Ezio/Falcon plot has fallen really flat for me. I didn't really like either guy much before the whole thing started, and it just felt like you were trying to force sympathy on a guy who didn't really deserve it. The Falcon clone army is way more interesting to me than Ezio continually trying to get through to Falcon. |

I dunno why this instance of it bothers you so much, a lot of people have gotten plot when they weren't doing so well. For me I wouldn't want to see serious plots go away in VGCW altogether, since a lot of its best moments fall under that, and if everything was silly it'd get diluted. |

I just feel like Falcon is a guy who's been given a ton chances to make an impact and has failed every time. He's gotten multiple redesigns(both visually and moveset wise) and before last week, his last singles win was against Grey Fox in 2014. If this story line also ends up being Captain Falcon's last hurrah, than that would also be kind of shitty if Guile and Goemon are also dead for real and Falcon got a big sendoff over either of them. Like I said, it's a personal thing, but I just don't like Ezio or Captain Falcon at all, so it's really hard for me to care about their drama. I really liked the part where Travis killed a Falcon though, I hope he does more of that. |

As much as people disliked Goemon, the idea that he would just get killed in a stinger never to be mentioned again, while Captain Falcon gets an entire season setting up his departure would be absurdly insulting. That's not even mentioning Guile, I may not have liked the guy, but he deserves much better then what he got. Better then Falcon has ever earned at the very least. Also yeah, I don't really care about the Birds of Prey but still taking that away the fact remains that they are both getting amazing treatment when nether of them has earned it. Can't even argue seniority as Guile had been around just as long. Guile and Goemon deserved better send offs and Falcon and Ezio deserve MUCH less then season long story arc send offs. (Even though Ezio is likely staying for some reason)
