I'm fine with characters leaving. I'm fine with Goemon being retired. I just don't think he needed to be MURDERED. Just have him be fired or something, Tingle got fired outta nowhere but he wasn't killed, just kicked out. That would have been preferable.

You know what you could have done? Do what happend to Luigi and Barkley. Have Gary come out, say "We got to many people, these two are retiring" Let them have one last match, and tah dah. Problem solved.

Killing them was just unnecessarily cruel and accomplished nothing. I can only assume you did this to make Bison seem intimidating? Because it didn't work.

It was done to set something up because set-up is required for advancement in storyline.

I'm still convinced they were transformed into Falcon clones.

We won't know that if it's true until this plot thread reaches its conclusion, so I'm going to hold off on judging the death of these two characters until it's resolved.

For all I know I could be way off base, and I'm already preparing a garnish for my hat when I'll need to eat it.

Yeah I love Guile but I'm not all too concerned. If he comes back great but if not, well, unexpected plot twists are cool, too. I don't see the money people seem to think could come out of a Guile face run. He's been such an unrepentant dick for so long that the schmooze necessary to effectively faceturn him would probably be overwrought and TOH's attention would be better put to use elsewhere.

edit: apparently schmooze means something else. What word was I looking for?!

I dunno, with the scene both making Goemon and Guile seem like they want to do something big or special it kinda looked like they might team up. Which could have ether helped Guile turn face or Goemon turn heel, there was at least some possibility there.

But alas, the answers are merely blowing in the wind now.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. Wanted to address a few specifics as we're getting to the end of the season:

Match Booking
One of the biggest things we've been getting from you guys is getting winners booked against winners and losers booked against losers to help with momentum issues. I have to admit that we were a bit shortsighted when booking matches, because we tended to prioritize fresh match-ups or match-ups that we thought were interesting, but it's hurt momentum for a ton of wrestlers. We're already working on that, and it'll definitely be a priority here on out. So wanted to reassure you on that.

Contenderships and Championship Matches
Another common thing we've heard was getting more title matches (especially on non-PPVs) and contendership matches. While we're pretty much set already for the remainder of this season, I do want to mention that we'll be taking this into account for next season, so I hope you all look forward to that. This was the first season where we've done 3 PPVs, kind of an experiment, but it kept title match scheduling too rigid. We'll probably scale back down to 2 again, and that should help open things up for more title matches on normal episodes.

Serious vs. Comedy Storylines
Just to share my thought on this one, my aim for storylines is to try to get a little of everything. Some plots are more on the serious end, some are meant to be funny. It's tough to please everyone, so trying to get a little something for everyone is the goal. If you can't get into one plot scene, I'm banking on another one entertaining you. That's how I plan to keep things.

Hope that's good info for you guys.

Now, there is one other important note. I'm looking to rebrand this thread a little. I'm hoping to use your opinions and feedback and turn them into suggestions. Some of you guys do this already, but I'd like to make it more of the norm. It really helps us when we're given alternate ideas for something that isn't working out. Going from "I don't like this." and leaving it at that to "I don't like this, here's a few ideas:" makes a huge difference. That way we're not left unsure on adjustments. I do have to stress that suggestions are just that: suggestions. We can't implement every suggestion we see, so please understand if we don't use it.

Again, thanks for your feedback. I'll be making some changes to the OP to reflect the "rebranding." I hope you enjoy what we've got in store for the rest of this season and the next one.

Another really good show. I would have liked to see Phoenix and Dracula have some one on one promo alone time, but apart from that I have no complaints. I think the booking of every match made sense. Endgame should be great.

Good show tonight, the Blood Falcon bits between plot were pretty fun and the Raiden reveal was totally worth the 12 season long wait.

I would have liked to see Flint or Asura show up at some point to see what their perspective on this Blood Falcon army was, whether they felt like Bison was sweeping them aside or not.

Too bad the six-man bugged out like it did, it's like the game is actively out to sabotage the Shadoloo plot.

I would have liked Mika vs Zangief to be for the streak, but I'm happy that the match is happening anyways.

The Ganon/Pirate plot...well I'm not really sure what to think about it. It feels like it never really got started and then tonight it just suddenly ended? I was expecting Ganon to at least attack Guybrush after the match or something to set up a match for End Game or something.. I wonder if Guybrush winning a title shot messed with their plans at all?

What I liked about the Blood Falcons plots, is that they didn't just go "Kill yeahhhhh", they had jokes and such, a good mix of serious and fun.

No mercy! Wounds that won't heal! Carved into flesh! Lethal Pain!
The last show was brilliant. Almost everything worked perfectly.

The only bad thing I can think of is the tag match glitching out twice, and even then, that was still amazing.

Just wanna give my feedback to how the End Game Card looks:

You lot essentially threw in four matches right at the buzzer with only a little bit of buzz behind them (though all but Zubaz Vs Waluigi were pretty telegraphed, even if Bowser V Ridley was 'just one plot last week'), and... y'know what? I really appreciate keeping us in the dark for Shadaloo going into the final show. It feels like the first time all season that we don't know what's going to happen with the Shadaloo boys, what state they'll be in at the end of the season, and what the endgame result is. This has been a fantastic bailout for the storyline, and I want to give it kudos PAST the Blood Falcon Breeding Center, that could've only worked with the stalling out the season gave. I do think it's kinda shot Asura's call-up momentum and potential, but it's pretty solid.

I really like the focus of singles competition for End Game in a season that's been very multi-man and tag-based. Really helps put everyone going in on a pedestal and leaves the big multi-man stuff for the inevitable plot resolution (that might not actually resolve neatly at the end of a season, an exciting prospect in and of itself!). Everything just feels very good going into End Game except perhaps the Main Title, and that's mainly because of the way Phoenix has been handled (that'll go off VERY well if Feenie wins, and if he loses is not really too damaging to him since 'he can turnabout eventually' is always a thing because it's Phoenix Wright).

Basically I just wanna say, very good work salvaging what I found wasn't the most thrilling season. A lot of things could've gone wrong here, most of them likely involving Barret and Drac dominating the season, and you've avoided the obvious pitfalls and created a fun event. Mika NOT ruining the Iron Curtain also really, really helps out and makes for a really fun match, especially after Zangief's SFV momentum is taken into account. Good job, really. Tip of the hat to you.
