Hm? Why wasn't Groose affected?

Also Guybrush is still listed as being unbeaten in singles.

So Blood Falcon is a separate entity, that's good to know, but bad for Kefka.

Captain's infamous streak awaits his return, hopefully to get broken once and for all.

Falcon Kayfabe, huh?

But in more important news.. JESUS CHRIST, Phoenix. ;_; The switch to the TOH settings has not been good for him at all.

Phoenix Wright being in this situation is almost inconceivable to me. It's as if someone said that fire wasn't hot or water wasn't wet. Not counting Guile, I know that Bison, Donte, and Cage managed to beat him, but I always saw him as still being the monstrous Wright, the new Classic Bowser. Bison needed a last-second roll-up, Donte reversed a Finisher during his "space rocket on back" stint, and only Cage was able to get a sound win over the guy.

Fucking Guile. Hopefully Snake already found him guilty in military court.

NOPE.
Phoenix is honestly as weak as his power ranking says he is right now. Since beating Dracula in the GM Tourney, he's 3-7 3-8 (forgot about Flint), with 2 of those wins coming against established lowcarders in Falcon and Edgeworth and the other against rapidly worsening Donkey Kong. If it was just a bad string of luck there wouldn't be a lot of stock to put into it, but 10+ matches across more than a year? That's more than enough evidence.

SHUN THE NON BELIEVER

Phoenix is always on the brink of tragedy before HE RULES THE DAY!

Just wait. You'll see.

(why do we not have a Phoenix Emote?)

Phoenix and Arino's placements don't bother me. It's very clear that they CAN pick up a win against almost everyone on the roster, and there's more than enough evidence to that. It's fair to say they're solid midcard threats who can go anywhere and toe-to-toe with anyone.

I mean, man, we have a stacked low card right now. Toad, Arino, Phoenix, Travis... everything gets shaken up here often, can't wait to see how some of those guys end up going on tears and who they bring down to get them up.

What's crazy to me is how little movement has happened in the top card.

Barring Groose not taking a hit (which I can only chalk up to an oversight) everyone seems to be fixed to the top.

That being said, we DO have a very clustered bottom right now...might be high time soon for a rumble to push one up a bit.

Poor Phoenix has likely missed his chance at the big time during his streak. He's likely never going to reach the heights he once hit. It's not too bad though. Bowser is in the same situation, and he's a MOTN machine who can still pull out a huge win when he feels like it. If Phoenix can settle into the midcard, we can at least expect decent matches from him.

I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.
I can already tell Cran's going to be sweating boolets trying to figure out Barret and Drac's new positions on this after that ending.

I hope he doesn't miss to check and make sure that Groose was properly re-distributed in the charts.
