I'm rushing through these to get all of them done by Tuesday. Here's people who turn things around this season!
18. Sonic
Record: 4-2 (Total), 2-1 (Singles)
Match: Goemon (lose), Illidan, Octodad, Waluigi (Win), Wario (Win), Toad, Flint, Kefka (Lose), Teddy Long Special (Win), Toad (Win)
In Q&A session with Bazza, Sonic was one of wrestlers who were on the shortlist. Sonic decided to step up, grab a mic, and boosted his much desired momentum. Sonic decided to walk very slowly to the ring, earning ire of few select individuals.
Sonic bantered with Knuckles (& Sabin) in backstage, until Toad confronted him and began to feud with him. Pff. Tryhards. He picked up two wins for Contenders match, and eliminated both Flint and Kefka and was rolled up by Toad. Later, Sonic challenged Toad to match at End Game, and beat him handily. It was heavily affected by Gameshark, but match is a match. We'll see if Sonic decides to go for belt again.
Also, this happened.
17. Barret Wallace
Record: 3-3 (Total), 2-1 (Singles)
Match: Octodad (Win), Birds of Prey (Lose), Mystical Ninjas (Win), Goemon (Win), Ezio, Knuckles, Air Man (Lose), Nappa (Lose)
In plot, he is quite aware of his current momentum. Barret had a segment with Goemon, and pinned him three times in a single season. The two singles wins placed him in contenders match, but Barret was eliminated second. Yeah, yeah, stakes. I know that. We all know that. Surprisingly, Barret lose to Nappa with single chokeslam at go home show. With his declining momentum, we have to see if Barret will step up or take a break.
Barret was given numerous scoop slams in his match against Nappa, but didn't use it for crowd to notice it. Maybe Nappa decided to unleash his wrath because Barret wasn't scooping enough.
Barret's tag team partner. One place above him. Poetic. Like Barret, Flint was mostly seen talking to each other backstage. While Barret got contenders match for main belt, Flint got contenders match for casual belt. However, feuding Toad and Sonic teamed up and eliminated him with a double team move.
Fans have demanded for more singles match, and he got it. He beat Dante and Phoenix Wright, two strong wrestlers who received title shot before. Flint might test himself more in singles match to gauge his strength, then may go for either belt.
The footage of Phoenix Wright vs Flint was mirrored halfway through the match. Otherwise, Flint was unaffected by Gameshark.
15. Mike Haggar
Record: 1-3 (Total), 1-1 (Singles)
Match: The Fuckheads (Lose), The BLU Rogues (Lose), Professor Layton (Lose), Guile (Win)
Like Sonic, Haggar was on the shortlist. Haggar broke off from Groose's Gang, dissolving the stable, and finally marked an end to the Ring Ranger saga. Haggar had various segments with Bullies where we could see the tension brewing. Heavy showed genuine concern for his partner, while Groose was busy with his title.
It was revealed that Haggar received head trauma from the Ring Rangers' assault in Season 7. This head trauma led to brief personality change, and Haggar joining Groose's Gang for couple seasons. The other wrestlers didn't really help him:
Vyse used Vyse Grip and Arcadian Destroyer, both of which target head.
Professor Layton, a wrestler known for head-based moveset, demolished Haggar with brainbuster in extreme rules match.
After this dark as fuck promo and few benoit jokes, people began to show much more concern for Haggar. When the tension between the Bullies reached its climax, Haggar finally regained his memories, and decided to end old stories. He attacked Guile (Black Ring Ranger) through the door, challenged him to I Quit match at End Game, and destroyed him with nL Special.
14. Sabin
Record: 2-3 (Total), 2-2 (Singles)
Match: Kanji Tatsumi (Win), Deadly Alliance (Lose), Johnny Cage (Win), Dracula (Lose), Knuckles (Lose)
The ex-champion. If he lost to Kanji in humiliating way, things would have gone differently for Sabin. Just as Kanji proved that he can hang out with veterans, Sabin proved that he deserves to stay with newcomers. After the VGCW belt became hot potato for half a season, Sabin made a good run with two defenses.
Shadow Blitz, a tag team between Sabin and Cage, was dissolved this season. Sabin spent few segments delivering promos, and mostly hanging out with his gym partner (??) Knuckles. Sabin retained title against Cage, and requested Knuckles to be put in Contenders match. Even though both wrestlers lost, their friendship remained and the duo had a match at End Game.
Sabin was mostly booked in title bouts, and he was rarely affected by Gameshark. However, he lost all of his gains at End Game and lost to guy who received massive gains from Gameshark. Ahh, friendship.
Layton was seen casually talking with Octodad. No tasers, no gas masks, just riddles and banters. However, the sinister side we've seen in Layton remains. Layton's biggest match this season was against the face-in-peril Haggar. Layton brutally dismantled him and gained heel heat from it.
As you can see, Layton has achieved quite a record, in contrast to his record in previous seasons. Layton's only loss this season was against a giant man who is now the Casual Champion. Layton seems like a fellow who will capitalize on his victories, and hates ignorant people. This is a wrestling ring, so brain doesn't always trump brawn though!
Losing to Nappa is strangely the best thing that could have happened for Barret, I think. It ended the Forever Top 10 meme and all of its references in the Power Rankings thread and elsewhere, and it ended the Small Match Barret stigma too. The overall wonkiness of that Nappa match also lessened the blow from getting squashed, so even that doesn't hurt him too much. And when you tack on that Goemon was awful all season and not just when he faced off against Barret specifically, I do think that Barret should get a bit of reprieve for the past season. The time off has helped cool off a bunch of the heat he was getting, and I do want to see him recover, strangely enough.
I think a lot of people stepped it up big time, I know holy hell did Flint ever step it up, he was a straight monster in the singles matches, I mean to get a clean win over Phoenix Wright of all people and Dante is making a statement, and don't forget when he destroyed Layton
I think Barret should turn heel. He certainly spent the whole season acting like one in the ring. Yeah Goemon wasn't doing as well as he can even outside their little feud, but it's still hard to look at how that shook up and think of a straight good guy. Plus he seemed to go out of his way in the contender's match that got him to make sure Ezio didn't win, even though he didn't win himself.
No mercy! Wounds that won't heal! Carved into flesh! Lethal Pain!

I think Barret should turn heel. He certainly spent the whole season acting like one in the ring. Barret doesn't need a heel turn. He's still likeable, and yes, he's had his issues, but that's not his fault.
He's a good worker, just give him a bit of time to recover, and I'm sure he'll be back good as new.
I honestly think a Barret heel turn could work really well when you consider his no-bullshit personality, his brutal in-ring style, his overall desire to earn money to support his daughter and his humiliation at feeling like no one takes him or his title ambitions seriously. There are the makings of a thoughtful heel turn there. He certainly doesn't have much attaching him to being a face besides from Flint.

Match: BLU Rogues (Loss), M. Bison (Win), Deadly Alliance (Loss), Toad (Win), Heavy (Loss)
As a Casual Champion, Groose spent much more time talking and gloating his ego, insulting his tag partners, his challengers, pretty much everyone. A known bully, Groose showed little sympathy for his partners. In BLU Rogue's debut, he kicked out Heavy and wrestled in his place. When Haggar was injured, he was busy talking about his 2nd title defense against Toad. Eventually, Heavy had enough of his crap, got a title shot from Vegeta and took his precious belt at End Game.
Ever since Air Man lost his Casual Championship, Groose is the first wrestler to defend the title. (Dan, Knuckles, Arino, Kefka) Like other champions, Groose was barely affected by the Gameshark. The only incident was his match against Deadly Alliance, where he ate countless finishers from Johnny Cage and Scorpion.
Bison spend one segment foreshadowing the breakup of the Bullies, and spent most time in the ring. He speared Travis while he's taunting, and earning a title shot against Groose's belt at Infinite Summer. He lost in a strong fight, and spend rest of season doing singles match. In both matches, Bison had his moveset adjusted by Gameshark. He still beat Edgeworth and Earl regardless.
It is strongly hinted that Bison is the main villain of Season 12, and somehow allied himself with Asura and Captain Falcon(?). His presence will be felt this season for sure.
Johnny Cage beat ex-champions like Gabe Newell, Little Mac, Bowser, Snake in the previous seasons, and had various Casual #1 Contenders match. In Season 11, Cage went for both VGCW Championship and Co-Op Championship.
As his (now former) tag partner Sabin was busy with his title, Cage eventually ended his tag team. Cage bantered with Sabin in the ring and Ganondorf interrupted both, demanding a title shot.
Cage responded to this by kicking Ganondorf in the nuts and pinning him clean in Contenders match.
Cage however lost to Sabin at Infinite Summer, and decided to pursue the tag belts. At the Go Home show, he teamed up with Scorpion, and this became Deadly Alliance. The duo pinned VGCW champion and Casual champion in two matches, but lost to iron-hot Salvation Ops in Contenders match. Maybe Cage will continue to pursue tag belts, or go for the main belt again.
9. Nappa
Record: 4-2 (Total), 1-1 (Singles)
Match: WarioWare (Win), Dante, Ezio (Loss), Duke Nukem (Loss), Fuckheads (Win), The Practice (Win), Barret (Win)
"AAAAAAAA VEGETA"
A ex-champion who cashed in on Scorpion, and lost to Guile in his first defense. Nappa's record was odd this season. He was finally pinned clean by Ezio (losing the contenders match in the process), and had his streak broken by Duke Nukem. Then he squashed Barret out of nowhere.
Nappa shined in plot segments. After arriving to the beach, Nappa immediately forced Vegeta to wear a pink thong for the entire season. Later, he became his aide when King Vegeta won the KOTR Tournament. For next season, it's likely that he'll spend quite a time with King Vegeta.
8. Knuckles
Record: 3-4 (Total), 2-2 (Singles)
Match: Six-Man Ladder (Win), Duke Nukem (Loss), Deadly Alliance (Loss), Scorpion (Loss), Donkey Kong (Win), Ezio, Barret, Air Man (Loss), Sabin (Win)
Knuckles was considered a midcarder by many. He had entertaining feud with Dan Hibiki for a season, until Arino beat both of them and took Casual Championship. Knuckles spent season interacting with Sonic and Sabin, and decided to challenge strong opponents and climb to the top card.
Knuckles participated in the ladder match and received a sunscreen as winning prize. Knuckles boldly claimed he could be champion, and challenged Scorpion at Infinite Summer. He lost to Scorpion twice, but he made Scorpion bleed - a rare feat.
After Gameshark hit, Knuckles finally got buff. While its effects are still unknown, Knuckles gained momentum to beat Donkey Kong, and fought in #1 Contenders match. Finally, Knuckles challenged Sabin at End Game and beat him. Their bizarre friendship will grow as time passes on.
7. Ganondorf
Record: 2-1 (Total), 1-1 (Singles)
Match: Johnny Cage (Loss), Red & Phoenix (Win), Kanji (Win)
After beating Scorpion, Ganondorf loudly demanded for title shot. Johnny Cage intercepted and sent him to Dick Kick city. Ganondorf recovered from this loss by pinning Red in main event, and winning an open challenge match at End Game. Ganondorf will probably gloat about his win at Season 12 and demand another title shot. We'll see what happens.
Ganondorf was not affected by Gameshark at all. Did he respect Ganondorf?
Match: Ebisumaru, Zubaz, Dr. Eggman (Win), The Practice (Win), Salvation Ops (Loss), Vyse (Win), Knuckles, Barret, Ezio (Win), Dracula (Loss)
After a lengthy Casual Championship run and winning the Co-Op belt from PK Chu, Air Man changed his goal to the best thing there is: VGCW Championship. For most of the season, Air Man acted as Break Man's trustworthy partner. His tendency to "take everything literally" continued as usual. During confrontation with Dracula, Air Man decided to cut off Break Man, speaking on his own and claiming Dracula cannot defeat him. Well, he did.
Air Man beat a newcomer Vyse while upside down by shoving him. In contenders match, Barret pinned Ezio by shoving, so Air Man used his finisher instead. Air Man vs Dracula was the longest match in the season, both wrestlers using countless finishers and kicking out. Will Air Man go for the belt again? Switch his focus to Co-Op? We'll see.
5. Solid Snake
Record: 5-1 (Total), 2-0 (Singles)
Match: Guile (Win), The Mavericks (Win), Kanji Tatsumi (Win), Toejam & Earl (Win), Deadly Alliance (Win), The Dragons (Loss)
Snake was comforting Jensen when he lost his friend, Gabe Newell, and helped him find peace by bringing WHATIF machine and allowing Jensen to see Gabe for one final time.
Snake and Jensen formed Salvation Ops and became the center of tag division for latter half of Season 11. Snake was no slouch in singles either. Snake pinned Guile with a super DDT, and got his win back against Kanji Tatsumi, evening the score. Snake used combos and perfectly timed comeback to beat Toejam & Earl. Okay, this is getting too long. He got Match of the Nights. You guys know that.
Snake's goal in this season was to change the scene in tag division. Taking the belts from Dragons was their ultimate goal, but with fresh teams on rise to challenge The Dragons, you could say he accomplished his goals.
I think he's going to be fine.
4. Vegeta
Record: 7-1 (Total), 4-0 (Win)
Match: WarioWare (Win), Arino (Win), Dr. Wily, Illidan, Zangief (Loss), The Fuckheads (Win), The Practice (Win), Goemon (Win), Bowser (Win), Duke Nukem (Win)
You have people on career resurgence and you have people with massive wins. Then there's Vegeta.
Vegeta was not pinned this season, and his only loss came from Steel Cage match. Technically, Dracula and Snake weren't pinned either, but Vegeta had more matches than two. On top of his impressive record, he dominated in tag team matches AND won a King of the Ring, becoming King Vegeta. Considering that he was a Prince of All Jobbers with 0-10 losing streak, Vegeta came long way.
and he did all of that while wearing pink swimsuits.
3. Heavy
Record: 2-4 (Loss), 1-0 (Win)
Match: Six-Man Ladder (Loss), Fuckheads (Loss), Travis, Layton (Win). Deadly Alliance (Loss), Teddy Long Special (Loss), Groose (Win)
The new Casual Champion, ladies and gentleman. Heavy has put on many fan-favorite matches in past seasons, and people have asked for his push. Heavy vs Groose was season-long slow burn. Heavy lost all of his tag matches as Bullies. He was going to have another one with BLU Rogues, but Groose forced Heavy out of spot and lost in his place. Heavy was slowly building his anger, and showing compassion for his partner Haggar and warned Groose multiple times. Groose, however, didn't listen and belittled Haggar and Heavy instead. So, Heavy turned face and unleashed his anger on Groose at End Game.
Heavy used two signatures, working the crowd into thinking that Heavy would use different move. Just as people said that, Heavy unleashed Pootista Bombs, and used very unnecessary and very poetic dirty pin to finish the job. It's my favorite match. Everyone has their favorites, right?
As we get to finish, most of Gameshark effects have been mentioned already. In the Teddy Long special, Dracula and Heavy were going to be in same team, but Gameshark removed everyone but them and replaced with four others. The two tore the hell out of each other and Dracula pinned Billy.
Scorpion took three-month long break after losing to Ganondorf in a squash match at End Game X. Scorpion appeared when Knuckles and Johnny Cage (both Sabin's friend) bantered backstage. Scorpion pinned VGCW Champion Sabin with corner spear and pinned Knuckles at Infinite Summer. He also entered Royal Rumble that night. Looks like he wasn't done with the title.
Scorpion decided to pursue title. This time, with Johnny Cage. The two swiftly crushed Groose's Gang, and had #1 Contenders match against Salvation Ops. This won't stop him at all. Scorpion beat VGCW Champion (Sabin), Casual Champion (Groose), and current Casual Champion (Heavy) all in single season. He only had four matches, but he made it count.
In intro, Scorpion was seen cooking with a chef's hat. Whether this is stunt double or not is still unknown, and we'll never know.
1. Dracula
Record: 4-0 (Total), 3-0 (Singles)
Match: Senator Armstrong (Win), Sabin (Win), Teddy Long Special (Win), Air Man (Win)
Your VGCW Champion who returned from the dead. Literally.
When the location was decided to be beach, everyone asked: what will Dracula do? In first half of Season, Gary Oak was digging through old documents and used Armstrong to get papers from Dracula. This ended with confrontation and Armstrong throwing Dracula into the sun. Dracula was critically injured and people thought he wouldn't wrestle for rest of the season.
Then Gameshark happened.
Armstrong freaked out. We all did. Dracula did too! While EVERYONE was wondering how or why this happened, Dracula decided to beat Armstrong and WIN THE ROYAL RUMBLE at Infinite Summer. Air Man later explained that Gameshark altered Dracula's body, making him immune to sunlight but slightly closer to human.
Vegeta's record is impressive, but Dracula was undefeated this season and became the VGCW Champion. In the past, Dracula lost to many strong opponents in End Game (Little Mac, Ganondorf, Bowser), lost to Phoenix like three times.
In terms of wrestling lingo, Dracula got his losses out of way for this moment.
World Tour is coming up! Thanks for reading all of this and let's travel across the world!
