Throwing my votes for Seifer and Waluigi this time. (Don't worry Guybrush, you're day will come.) |

NOPE.

Duke and Ganon. I dunno if you can really even count Seifer at this point, he had a total of one match. Granted it's an ok plot song, but I have no sorta emotional tie to it whatsoever. It's tough, because Waluigi does have the soundbite from the guy himself, but DUN DUN DUNNNNNN is really strong on its lonesome that it can make up for the shitty/slow entrance that follows it. Probably one of the strongest openers on the whole roster. |

I debated whether to even include Seifer in this but I ended up being like "Sure why not"? |

Seifer's...He doesn't really have an applicable entrance. Duke basically gets a by. Also Ganon. |

I love Duke's because Grabbag is a really cool song, and something about Ganon's opening DUN DUN DUNNNNN is just so imposing. |

Gotta go with Duke and Waluigi on this one. Duke's opening riff with those here and there lyrics really make it feel great. There's a certain vibe about Duke's entrance theme that resonates well with everything and it's slept on because of how much people don't really talk about it. Waluigi's theme is so silly sounding and so unimposing that it's become so important to VGCW. And Waluigi himself to his credit. That really bad clip of Charles Martinet saying "TOO BAD WALUIGI TIME" before his theme hits feels so perfect to Waluigi. Ganondorf's theme is also just as iconic and important, but Waluigi's theme just makes me think of the entirety of VGCW when I hear it as opposed to Ganondorf who's theme hits and all I can think of is the whole "MUH AURA" thing. Opinions! |

Seifer vs. Duke: Duke: No additional comments. Waluigi vs. Ganondorf: Ganondorf: The theme shows why Ganondorf is still thought of as a top threat in VGCW after all of this time. |

Duke is the easy one On the other hand, Waluigi and Ganon is much harder because they both have great opening hooks, and the songs themselves are appropriate to the character. If this was about the whole entrance as a package Waluigi would win, but as just the song I'll give it to Ganon this time. |

UNGH. Duke. Waluigi's theme isn't anything special but Ganondorf's doesn't really have anything going for it besides a cool stinger and being really fucking long. Point Waluigi. Edited by DongyKonga, Dec 13 2015, 09:04 AM.

Duke joins Sho as a wrestler who's theme would be a legitimately great wrestling theme even outside of the context of VGCW. It has an easily recognisable hook so everyone immediately knows who's coming out and can react accordingly. The theme is easily memorable and automatically attributed to the wrestler. It syncs up with his entrance and helps to immediately get his character across. Waluigi and Ganon is tricky they're both completely opposite in tone but they succeed in the same areas as they're both immediately recognisable, memorable and get their character across. I guess I'll have to give it to Ganon since it feels like more of a special occasion whenever he enters. TLDR: DOOK and Ganon. Edited by Cheer This Dan, Dec 13 2015, 10:00 AM.

Yeah Duke's song is like Sho's Eddie's and Cube's themes in that it could totally be a real wrestling theme. Waluigi beats Ganon just because of the sound bite. Sound bites are cool. |

Duke is gonna take it here. Good song, works pretty well as an entrance theme. This 2nd one is a bit tougher, though I'm willing to give the edge to Waluigi due to the soundclip at the start. |

I'm gonna toss a vote at Seifer because lel. And Waluigi because WALUIGI TIME at least goes faster than one mile per thousand years. |
