Yeah, I'm a fan.

Jeez, this is a tough one. Not Edgeworth vs Groose, Groose's theme sucks. Too slow for my taste. Edgeworth. Barret vs Reyn. This one is rough. Reyn has the classic Xenoblade music, but Barret has that rap. I catch myself singing it at random points throughout the day. I can't do that with Reyn. So, therefore, my votes goes to AV-AL-AN-CHE. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?

Two more tough matchups today. Barret over Reyn. Reyn's theme is great, and the "Reyn Time" sync is pretty cool, but it's a battle theme, not an entrance theme. Interestingly Barret's theme is also based on the FF7 battle theme, but it's got much more personality, and was actually made for him rather than just being a part of his game. Also HEY HEY HEY. Edgeworth and Groose is pretty tough to call. Both themes are truly respective of the characters, and incredibly fitting to the entrances. I've gotta give it to Edgeworth for just being a more energetic theme. I feel like I could fall asleep to Groose's theme, and that's probably not a great thing. |

Barret's theme has lost all its luster for me. The "HEY HEY HEY" chat meme rings hollow, like the current state of Barret's career. Sabin's rap is better. Reyn, on the other hand, is full of life and vigor, and the voice clip sync is absolutely amazing. Point to Reyn. I honestly thought Groose was going to get blown the fuck out by the sync steps which don't work but hey, he's putting up a little bit of a fight. While his theme may not be the most energetic or the most hype, it is certainly the most fitting given his current state of affairs, without a shadow of a doubt in my mind. One of the many reasons to love Groose. Point to Groose. On a related side note, Groose should change his theme to my BWA theme if he ever wins the big one. |

Almost had even scores for both matches! Barret defeats Reyn 22-10. It was not Reyn time. Meanwhile, Edgeworth finds Groose guilty of having a worse entrance theme than him, so he moves on. 22-11. Next set of matches are bad news for myself in the accuracy department. For some reason Illidan's theme just literally refuses to be downloaded to my computer. As to why, your guess is as good as mine. Why is this one video causing me problems downloading? I was not prepared to edit his theme together. Also, I can't find the specific "I'M THE BEST!!" Toad uses in VGCW. Anyway, first up we do indeed have The Betrayer, L I Dan Stormrage (Illidan's theme at 3:47) vs Black Scottish One Eye aka The Demoman The man blind in both eyes vs the man blind in one eye. Black guy vs purple guy. And the second match Red vs Toad Red was THE BEST Casual Champion ever, but is he THE BEST at entrances? Edited by Soundwave, Dec 19 2015, 07:54 AM.

Tough one with Illidan and Demoman. Completely different tunes, completely different entrances, completely different characters. It feels like this is going to come a lot down to personal preference, but I'll put that aside; Demoman's entrance has more steps to it, more active sync, and in general is a very pleasant song to listen to. Not for lack of trying on Illidan's part, point to Demoman. On the other hand, Toad's entrance theme is really kind of whatever and doesn't really match his entrance a whole lot, and while Red's my favorite and has an entrance that matches his no nonsense personality, it is undeniably bland in a vacuum. I'm voting Red entirely because I like the Pokemon theme, but neither one would have advanced had they not going against each other, I think. |

Hey look, I get to be among the first to vote this time. As for who I'm picking, I gotta go with Illidan for the sheer intimidation factor he has over Demoman. Red vs Toad is a complete toss up for me, since in my eyes they have themes of equal quality. But if I was forced to choose in a battle between THE BEST vs THE VERY BEST, I'm gonna have to pick.. Toad. |

Legends of Azeroth is a better piece of music than anything TF2 could come up with and it's a much better song than Illidan's old heel theme to boot. Both Toad and Red have fairly standard themes but you know who's coming out when you hear the first few beats. Going to give this to Red because I like the Pokemon soundtrack but I feel Red could do with an updated theme sometime in the future to match his updated personality. Shadowball Valley going over! Illidan and Red. |
