Raijin's happy to be here, but Kanji gets the crowd more happy to be here, has great wrestling hype, and the rap is pretty understandable. Kanji gets my vote.

Dan's theme has an unmistakable start and something about it seems goofy and cocky just like Dan, but Knuckles' rap is goofy, cocky, and boastful just like him. It's more catchy on its own too. Knuckles gets my vote.

This is gonna be though as I like all of the tracks a lot, in each match up one has an important trump card that puts them over the top: Lyrics. Point to Knuckles and Kanji.

Knuckles ends the feud once and for all with a decisive 31-2 victory. Meanwhile, Raijin put up a good fight, ya know? But in the end it wasn't enough and he lost 21-11.

Billy Lee and Jimmy Lee, The Dragons
"You see the black warriors? Their shit's kinda wacky, the world's seen the last of..."
Round 1 Results:

vs

Solid Snake
"You're right on time, Snake!"
Round 1 Results: Beat M. Bison 26-0 (!)

An Endgame X1 rematch here. The Dragons have a VERY over theme song, but are people growing tired of it lately? And can it stand up on its own merits to Snake (remember, soundbytes included.)?

And match #2 is HUUUUUUGE in my opinion. A match we should be seeing further in the tournament than Round 2, but that's how it goes.

Dante
"HEY, YOU! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"
Round 1 Results: N/A

vs

Octodad
"Who's that man with the eight strong legs? Tried to make me breakfast but he broke my eggs!"
Round 1 Results: Defeated Adam Jensen 24-2

Two very different songs here, but the crowd LOVES to sing along to both. They're both incredibly over and a lot of people will have a very tough time deciding between them. No matter what happens, there are no losers here on this day.

Yeah, I'm a fan.
Snake and Octodad.

The good part of Donte's entrance theme comes way too late to hear it.

Well...I still like the Dragons' theme so that gets my vote

Dante or Octodad...I dunno...I'm not the biggest Octodad fan but I can't deny he has a catchy theme, Dante however is just hype and fits his character so well.

I have to go with Dante

Do I like The Dragons? No. Did I liked them before they won the belt?Meh, I really stop to care about anything they did pretty much at the same time they created P.R.A.T.S, and even before I didn't liked them that much. But they do have a really great theme. And they are facing a guy that, even if I like a lot, I feel nothing when is theme song start. There's nothign special about the theme of Snake that make it good for me. So Yeah, Dragons.

The other one is difficult. In general, I like the one of Donte better, it's actually one of the theme I lsiten outside of the show. But as Karth said, the most interesting part start at the end of the entrance. While I find Octodad theme to be lesser impressive, it's still catchy and present very well the universe of the character. So I think I'm gonna vote for Octodad, because what we hear during the entrance is better for him than the other.

Hmm, this is tricky. The Double Dragons rap is absolutely amazing, but Snake's theme works in his entrance so well...

Oh well, I'll give it to Snake as a Christmas present. Guy has had a hard life.

And I gotta give Dante the win over Octodad. As great as both of their themes are, Dante just has a way better wrestling theme.

Ladies Love it.
Outside the Codec and the !, Snake's theme isn't amazing. The Soundbites push it into greatnesss, but, The rest of the song past the opening fanfare isn't anything special. It's good, but not the best.
The Dragons have the full package, and still posess what is one of my favorite things in this whole business.
If everything from the Bazza Era falls by the wayside except for the William Mackey swerving, well- A, there's not a whole lot of show left at that point, is there? and B: That'll be just fine. Exaggeratingly speaking.

Octodad and Dante are sides of the coin. Well. Probably the same side, actually. Lyrical, charecter fitting songs that the chat loves to sing along to.
Octodad's theme is amazing. This matchup deserved to happen later on because Octodad belongs in the Quarterfinals, at least. But Dante's got a great buildup. Before he even steps out, into the veiw, with the drumline hitting just as he steps out and the announcer calls his name, lyrics starting up as he walks down, for it to hit the full HEY. YOU. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. as he steps up the ring steps. It's quite possibly the perfect entrace theme, and Is destined to go far in this tournament.

Vote Dragons and Dante

Some tough matches here. Snake's theme and soundbites are unique, and the theme really hits when he actually shows up. It also has a nice build up. But Billy and Jimmy's theme is full of life and personality. It's aggressive and memorable and was what pushed The Dragon's into their rise to the top. It would fit as both a face and a heel theme, which is what it may need to end up becoming in Season 12.

My vote is for The Dragons.

Dante vs Octodad is a huge fucking match with two wrestlers on very different sides of the spectrum. Octodad's is nice and bouncy with a great personality to it, but Dante's is as well, with the added benefit of just being way more in-your-face, way more fitting for a wrestler and just had way more of an impact. From the moment I first heard this theme in EDBW, I was behind Dante. It tells you everything you need to know about him with those words that have become the very essence of him as a wrestler. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Sorry Octodad. You're great, but this theme might end up going to the very top. FUCK YOU, IT'S A VOTE FOR DANTE.

Snake and Dante easily.

Octodad had a good run before running into one of the tournament winners in Dante.

Dragons and Octodad. Dragons theme is another case of entrance theme literally saving someone's career. Also HE'S GOT A GOOD THING GOING seals it for me.

Oof there's a tough one, I really love Snake's theme but I think I gotta give it to the Dragons, its a great theme that lets you know who they are. And the William Mackey delay was amazing towards the end of Bazza's reign.

Second round is an easy Octodad for me though, Donte's got a good theme but I can't vote against Octodad, that music is just too catchy.

Snakre and Octodad win it for me. I like The Dragons' theme, but Snake's just has more tension and it fits with Snake's entrance and the wrestler himself really well. As for Dante's theme, I'm just not a fan at all. Not my kind of music, despite how well it fits Dante. Octodad's bright, cheery music gets me going far more.
