Guile and Sho is tough, but I'm gonna have to give it to Guile. Neither theme holds a special place in my heart but Guile's is a classic. Wily beats Air Man, no question. Air Man has a good theme, but nobody beats Wily's. |

Gotta give it to Sho easily. Those first twenty seconds or so are golden. I always didn't like the SNES version of Guile's theme, but that's probably because I got spoiled by the Hyper Street Fighter 2 version that got memed to death. But Wily and Airman? That's a little tough because both of those songs can get you pumped up, especially the loud first few seconds of Airman's theme, but the song more or less mellows as time goes on when compared to Wily's theme. That one stays strong consistently. So Wily gets my vote too. Edited by FreewayKnight, Dec 11 2015, 07:18 AM.

Easily giving it to Sho here. His theme is perfect and makes great entrance music. Guile's on the other hand is... just okay. I liked the Smash 4 Air Man theme better, but I'll give credit to the current one in that the opening drums are great at conveying "oh shit it's fucking Air Man". Wily's theme, however, is a fucking VGCW classic and has been part of one of the greatest entrances in this medium for years. I'm giving it to Wily. |

Guile vs. Sho: Sho: Guile's Theme Doesn't Go As An Entrance Theme. Sho's works as an entrance theme. Dr. Wily vs. Air Man: Dr. Wily: Two memorable themes, but Wily's is more memorable. |

Sho and Wily. Sho's theme was awesome before in Arena/EDBW/VGCW e-fed but now that it's a dual mix it's heavier and it works even better now. Guile's entrance music meanwhile being an old CPS1 chiptune makes it sound kind of out of place next to the other themes and IMO it's not the best version of his theme (that would be the 3DO/Hyper SF2 version). Airman's theme is very good but Wily's is downright legendary. Edited by Cheer This Dan, Dec 11 2015, 09:19 AM.

Guile. Not a fan of Sho's theme. Wily over Air Man. |

Although Sho's theme might not be for everyone, his theme gives him more personality than it should. It resonates a lot with the character instead of being a tune that has the title of "______'s theme". Which is great. Sho gets my vote easily. Wily. No contest. It's going to take a lot for Wily's theme to lose in this. It's far too iconic of a song to VGCW as a whole to think "Hey, this Smash remix is going to win instead of a classic VGCW tune." I love Air Man's heel theme and it's really good and better than the Smash remix in my honest opinion, but there's not much that'll top Wily. |

Guile and Dr. Wily. Dr Wily's theme is a pretty good song to start with but the version used in VGCW just works so well with both his entrance and persona that I can't not give it my vote here. |

I think Sho's theme is damn near perfect for his character, and it actually sounds like a wrestler's entrance music. That's something I think not as many people appreciate these days! Guile's theme is iconic but it doesn't get me pumped up as those opening lyrics Sho's got. Wily vs Airman was literally a coin flip for me, and when I found said coin after it bounced off my desk it came up Wily so good job Wily. |

Sho and Wily. Sho's theme works perfectly, starting very strong, slowing down in the middle, and speeding up again in time with his "pointing and yelling" taunt. However, to be honest, I'm not a fan of the additions that were made to his theme, mainly the drums and guitar covering up the big "it's overrr." Guile's theme is pretty good, but it seems the one thing it doesn't really go with is "dickbag heel." Wily's is no doubt one of the best in the league. I remember Wily cutting a promo while his theme played the entire time, letting us hear much more than usual. It's awesome all the way through! Air Man's previous theme was way better. It had a decidedly "main-event" feel that his current one lacks. Him getting his old "midcard-y" theme feels like a downgrade. |

Sho Minamimoto I just straight up really like Transformation. It's a good example of the kind of music I like. Every part of it just works really well, as well as fitting Sho as a character and his entrance. Guile's theme is pretty underwhelming and it's not the best version of it, so it's pretty clear cut for me. Dr Wily If this was Air Man's SSB4 theme, I'd definitely lean the other way, but it isn't, so I won't. In the end, this one's a battle between two run-of-the-mill rock remixes that every song on Earth has now. I personally find a lot of them to be really uninspired to be honest. Both of these two suit their character well and are recognisable at the very least, but Air Man's isn't anything all that different from "his stage theme but with guitars," which is fine and all, but isn't enough to cut it in THIS BUSINESS. Wily's theme is already a staple in VGCW, and it is genuinely a cut above most of the remixes of its kind that I've heard. I also appreciate the high energy that comes from the combination of his entrance and his theme, so that's what I'm going with. |

Sho's theme is just better than Guile's theme, that's all I can really say. Haven't played Street Fighter or The World Ends with You but to put it in perspective Guile's theme is like an "ehhhh" and Sho's theme is like an "ayyyyyyyy". Point to Sho. A lot of people are saying that if this was SSB4 Air Man's theme compared to the one he has now, that he'd be winning. I will agree with those people. Current theme kind of blows compared to the prior one, despite both being really good. Edge to Wily for that swag ass entrance with the music, although that doesn't stop me from wanting to press a certain button. Spoiler: click to toggle
