Could you try to explain why Break Man's theme isn't a good wrestling one, instead of just insisting that's the case? Edited by Justin_Brett, Jan 5 2016, 01:50 AM.

Genesis Does!

Johnny Cage for No. 1. As good as Break's theme is for the story arc he's on...Johnny's is just way too good as an entrance theme. So I gotta go with him. Knuckles for the MOST HONORABLE AND VALUED Third Place Trophy. |

Knuckles for third place. Sorry, Senator, but it has to be this way. As for the finals, I'm backing Break Man. |

Together We OH GOD

Hoo boy, that final match-up. I love Cage, but I love Break too. They're both incredible in their own rights, but for totally different reasons... I gotta abstain from this one. It's just too difficult to choose. Third place, however, is much easier. KNOCK KNOCK IT'S KNUCKLES |

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time

Cage and Armstrong all the way. Break Man's theme is just so incredibly corny and tryhard. That's my own dislike towards the Protomen but it's just so hilariously dramatic. TELL ME MAN. It's just dumb. It has the same appeal as Zubaz's theme to me, and that's not a good thing. It fits Break Man's character but that doesn't make it not totally stupid. My two cents. |

Johnny Cage's theme is the best in VGCW right now, and it's crazy that it looks like he's not going to win this. I get that Break Man's theme fits his character, but Cage's theme fits him perfectly too. I mean, what better for a wrestler so self-absorbed to have his own name tattooed on his chest than a theme with his own personal ring announcer in it. Let me reiterate that: he has his own personal ring announcer in his theme. That's genius. That's something a real wrestler should have, and I'm surprised nobody's done that yet, unless you count the intro to EC3's theme. Plus it's hype as fuck, it's starts really strong with 'prepare yourself', it's well-paced throughout the entire entrance: it's perfect. Hell, remember Star Road 1 where Bazza went from not caring about Cage to becoming a fan based off his one entrance? Johnny Cage doesn't just have the best theme in VGCW, he has one of the best themes in all of wrestling. He should win this tournament and it shouldn't even be close. Also, Armstrong beats Knuckles. Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
Proto Man's theme tells a story. It's great and representative of his character, and what he's done. But compared to Cage's theme, Proto's theme feels more like a promo than an entrance theme. It's great, but Cage is just so bombastic and over the top. Cage's theme feels like real wrestling, more than any other theme in VGCW right now. The other big difference, is that Cage's theme is exciting. Proto's theme doesn't really bring that much emotion out of me. Some themes instill a sense of dread, some themes get you excited. Proto's makes you pay attention, but it doesn't really put me in a mood. At least not a mood where I'm ready for rasslin'. Cage's theme has a great hook, great excitement, and shows off his cocky theme so perfectly, I can't not vote for it. Armstrong over Knuckles, Armstrong is a much more solid theme, and I can't hear Knuckles theme without thinking of some of the funnier edits that have been done to it. |

I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.

I love Proto's theme like crazy, and especially how well it just screams "this is my story" to me in the best way possible. It has almost everything needed for a perfect heel theme, and for that I almost was about to vote for them. But then listening to Cage's theme, it hit me: With his theme and everything, Cage is basically The Miz as a face, and actually done right. So with that said, my vote goes to Johnny "I punched Shao Khan so hard in the dick he exploded" Cage. As for the other one, it's an easy choice for me. Knakles the Enchilada for sure. Also,
I now want this to be Knuckles's new theme, and nothing can convince me otherwise now. Edited by ancara22, Jan 5 2016, 11:37 AM.
