See, the whole reason Dan was able to turn face, I think, was because his heat had dissipated - nearly every time he came out, he got his ass kicked, and there was only so often that could be hugely satisfying. |

There comes a point where a wrestler is "locked" into their alignment I think, there are just some characters who will always be heel and some who will always be face. It's the neutrals you want to keep your eye on, they're the ones who have no alignment to be locked into and can go ether way. That said I wish we had a list available of all the 100% Faces and 100% Heels just for reference. Edited by MaxOfFewTrades, Apr 26 2016, 03:35 AM.

Well, there's the wiki... I think there might be something to this though. I mean think about it - nobody had any legit heat feelings towards Bison before season 12 - just hype for Tuesday. Selling him as a heel just doesn't work without anything to back it up (and yes he did have complacency in the Game Shark, but if doing nothing got you heat, Luigi would be the most over heel in history, instead of Mr. L). Drac got away with interrupting the GM tourney because he'd already earned his heat - transforming Woody and I guess what I'm saying here is that all this talk about 'organic heels' is mostly about heels needing to earn their heat. Maybe Bison has though - we're all definitely against him at this point after all. And heck, we've still got a whole third of the season left! Edited by Introbulus, Apr 26 2016, 08:07 AM.

Well also keep in mind, some people are listed as face and heel when it doesn't make much sense, look at Wily, he's a heel yet no one can bring themselves to hate him because he is so over, however with that said I do believe that anyone could become a face or a heel with the right plot, case in point: Flint

Wily's a heel not because of how the crowd feels about him, but because of how he treats other wrestlers. I mean, you saw the last Kefka's Korner, he was brutal to poor Wah. He just happens to be a heel that is absurdly over that gets tons of crowd pop because of SWAG. ...VGCW alignments are confusing as all hifl. |

If Break Man can work a gimmick by openly admitting to wanting to see the live shoot deaths of the entire crowd, then walk out on stage and get cheered by that same crowd, I don't know what to tell you. Traditional alignments do not work in VGCW the same way they do in other wrestling shows. Also, Guile was a good heel for a while, winning his feuds with Duke, Ganon, and Johnny Cage, plus the whole Ring Ranger thing, but I feel in recent months he's really cooled down. |

Heels can come about very quickly depending on circumstance. Groose last season is a great example of TOH, Cran and Kryptik taking what the game was giving them and twisting it into something unique. Groose went from a Team Rocket-style loser heel to being legitimately booed by the entire crowd for his Endgame match from the steller writing in his feud with Heavy. I think one good point I've seen is that we were TOLD that Bison was going to be the main villain of the season. We already had expectations about him, already anticipated that he was going to act and already knew who his minions were going to be. Very little was left for us to find out apart from what he was actually going to do, and what he actually did was ruin the most incredibly well hyped championship match in seasons for some cheap heat. |

Toh, just want to say that I'm enjoying the season, even Barret's last match did make me cry. You're a good writer, and I have no doubt you have good shit planed. |

Hey man, people gotta go, you want new guys? Old guys gotta leave, its tragic and I don't like it but its gotta be done. I expect Falcon and Bison to end up dead in a recreation of that one F-Zero anime by the end of the season. |

I know. I'm not mad. Just sad that he had to leave. He had a good final match, and it's pretty clear that he didn't choke, he just happened to be facing one of the best wrestlers the VGCW has ever had in the best form he's ever been in. I hope people remember that when they look back on what he did. |

Remember 10-10? Because I sure damn well remember Dracula tying with one of the strongest champs the league has ever known. Ain't no shame in losing to that, especially in such a close contest. ...still, I'll miss Barrett too. Feels like the end of an era. |

Barret has always had the bad luck to go up against champions whilst they're in their prime. If he'd gone up against a Kefka or a Guile during their reign, he'd very likely have held a belt at least once. It's especially sad that he ended up getting the first pin...that would have made him champ in their first fight... |

Out of curiosity, what do you all think Bison and his cronies will be doing match-wise at End Game X2/12? I'm predicting that the inevitable Barret/Flint plotline is going to be rolled into the Ezio/Falcon plotline, since Ezio is obviously upset and wants to help his friend and Barret is likely going to get that plotscene in two weeks, or at a later date. Adding in Travis to the mix and it'll probably come down to Shadaloo getting a match up of Flint/Asura/Falcon vs. Barret/Travis/Ezio. Not sure what the other involved parties are going to add up to, but I think maybe Bison will get something at End Game match-wise, and most definitely plot-wise. |

Don't forget we also have Salvation Ops and Seifer in the mix. Given how it seems to be setting up, I think we might see Falcon/Flint vs Barret/Ezio and Salvation ops vs Bison/Asura. Which both could be good matches. I would kind of prefer Barret vs Flint to be singles though, but then again I'm not sure how many matches Endgame is going to have. |

Thinking about it, we've got a lot more faces than heels here. It'd be wise of Shadaloo to expand its ranks, and I think the prime suspect would probably be Dan after the night he had at the Poke-Pay-Per-View, but then that makes me wonder, are we getting a repeat of End Game X with two three v. three tag contests? |
