No mercy! Wounds that won't heal! Carved into flesh! Lethal Pain!
I could see him coming back as a guest, or special referee, but as much as it pains me to say it, he should never wrestle again. It would cheeping his retirement.

Yeah Barret is gone, but like DK he could make a guest appearance at some point but even then as just a plot character or referee.

I'd be cool with him appearing in plot to ease Flint into retirement, though. Not sure what you do with Flint once the Bison stuff is over - Octodad kind of fucked over his momentum as a heel.
I guess it really depends on what happens with him after the Bison plot ends. Will he go back to being the normal Flint or will he stay a heel? I feel like there's some potential there for a heel Flint if he sticks around.

I'm also curious what'll happen to Asura after this is all said and done. The guy really hasn't done much since joining Shadoloo other than being Bison's henchman who yells a lot.

Asura's an easy fix next season, as he can write off his early rough-goings as being the result of the machinations of Bison.

Finally figured out what I do wrong. I treat characters I like as Face regardless of actions because I like them. So Waluigi, The Blu Rouges, ect, no matter what they do, because I like them in the games they're in, I will always treat them like the good guys.

Apparently, I'm supposed to change my opinions on characters based on the silly nonsense this game makes them do. Which I will not, so in my brain characters I like I will always cheer even if they are "heels", and I'll boo the characters I don't like even if they are "face".

Because am I seriously supposed to have my personal opinion of a character change based of a silly show like this? Anyway, that's why my my comments are so divisive! I'll try to be more mindful of how i'm supposed to think and speak of characters in this shows context rather them ,y enjoyment of them in their source material.

There is no "wrong" way to watch the show. You're going to cheer for who you want to cheer for and boo who you don't like.

Occasionally, the show will highlight a character in such a way that makes them more/less enjoyable for the show specifically.

But that's just an extension of the above - you enjoy the characters the way you want to. There's no 'rule' about how to enjoy them (or not).

Perhaps. But this extends to wrestling ability, I like Luigi, Wario, Carlos, Videl, Saria, and Sonya. Who, from what I hear from you guys, are bad wrestlers, but because I like the characters I flat out don't see it that way, they all seem great to me. Where as apparently amazing wrestlers like Dracula, Airman, and the like I don't see any notable difference in quality due to not caring for the character.

So, yeah, I will continue to enjoy the show the way I choose, but that's just my personal mindset and I admit that its one that can lead to conflict and I would like to apologize for that.

*EDIT* So when I see something like Wario being retired I don't see a bad wrestler being mercy fired, I see the show getting rid of one of my favorite video game characters.

NOPE.
Is this really the place to discuss individual viewing habits?

Eh ,I don't agree that's the most valid gripe. Some of those were my favorites as well, but people have to go to make room for others. Whenever a character is cut to make room on the roster, it's inevitably gonna be someone's favorite. Sucks when it's yours, rules when it's Goemon.

I do regret seeing Wario go - even if he wasn't winning much, he was great entertainment.

The only true way to watch is a show is from within in the ring itself. If you're not on the active BWA roster, you're watching VGCW objectively the wrong way, to be honest fam.

So, we know Johnny and Veggie are gonna duke it out for a spot in the #1 Contender's Match. Who do you think is gonna nab the other contender spot? Dan seems to be the popular favorite. Nappa's been Nappa. Octodad has been looking pretty strong, but maybe needs a high card match to truly go over. Is there anyone else that I'm missing that you could see sneaking their way in? Long shots being maybe Bowser or Edgeworth?

We do have an entire show of non-title matches to see if anybody comes up looking especially strong - seems like it could give us a good clue.

It also depends a lot on who comes out with the title. If Drac retains, we'll need a top of the top tier to take him down. If Phoenix pulls off the miracle turnabout, the field suddenly gets wide open to who can get a shot at him.

And that's before we even factor in the almost guaranteed Ganon cash-in.
