Apart from the last two matches, I got all the outcomes I wanted(I didn't mind any specific outcome in the first two matches though). Climb that ladder, Snake... Great plot scenes too. Can't wait to see who the rat is! Fisherman's Horizon's entrance is the best thing, |

Yeah, the match results were all pretty good until Nappa and Ganondorf did their thing. I'm not too upset about Illidan having an off day because he was due one at some point. |

is it too soon to assume that Blood Falcon & Asura have some association with Shadaloo? |

Some of the matches had odd moments and outcomes, but it was still a very fun time. Also, the plots were great as always and I especially loved the one with Gary. Just the wording of "You know I don't do the number thing," was perfect: There's only a single number Gary, and it's one. Fucking 1. "One day left renew contract Y/N?" I just really enjoyed that. Also, King Vegeta's explanation for why he booked the show was great for similar reasons, as Vegeta basically told Gary that he was trying to overthrow him to his face. I also really liked Zubaz's plot because I knew everyone he mentioned, even the monkey, was an actual F-Zero racer. When he mentioned the "lovable losers" I figured they were from Mute City as well or had some tie to it. Something I actually missed the first time was that he meant to say Mr. EAD, but instead botched it into Mr. OCD. The dude's hilarious. Thank you clerical error. |

Catching up again... Sho's intro is so goddamn good. The beggining of the song really brings the hype. Really wish I knew who the hell the character is though haha (I bought TWEWY recently, haven't had time to play it though). The win with that lousy elbow was pretty funny. Triple Threat Cage matches are always hilarious. That ending has to turn into a feud though. There was no reason for Vyse to target Eggman there haha. Long time since we last heard "You're not prepared". Hype! Guile's new theme starts kinda bad but as soon as the more recognizable Guile melody begins it becomes pretty good. First Blood isn't something we see often so it was neat. Glad Illidan won. Amazing new team and with a victory debut! I didn't understand Seifer's plot much though but I hope it becomes more clear in the next weeks. 2 (3?!) years later and Drac is still the best GM. MitB returning is amazing. Nothing beats senseless ladder matches that can end in 2 seconds or 20 minutes. Damn it Red, I wanted Jensen to go over. Nappa's super slam was hilarious. Push this alien. Zubaz' plot was great. It's hilarious how everything goes badly for him. I'm confused though, Blood Falcon is a new wrestler or a Falcon heel turn? Don't really care for Asura right now tbh. Funny how so many guys from Star Road 2 ended up in VGCW though. Liquid plz. The Zubaz swerve at the end was great, he wouldn't have deserved a cut. I love Ganon but I wanted Haggar to win the qualifier. Still, there's nothing cooler than the GVD with the TP music. If he manages to win the MitB it'll be interesting. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
I dunno, the only clue or confirmation we have one way or the other is Blood Falcon in the credits, and Cap out. That doesn't really mean anything though. I think we'll have to wait until he interacts with Ezio or someone more familiar with the good Captain to be sure. |

We need to discuss something important. I'm sure we all agree that the generic submission-replacing DDT is known as an IlliDDT, and I'm sure most of us consider that the name applies whether Illidan's using it or not. BUT. Is any DDT Illidan performs an IlliDDT? There seemed to be some chat controversy over the subject, and I'd like to make my voice heard. I vote YES. To compensate for any potential confusion, the mark-out response anytime Illidan does an IlliDDT should be changed to 'VINTAGE STORMRAGE!' Edited by GirthIgnorer, Feb 5 2016, 08:42 PM.

I do not think there is any chat controversy about this particular subject at all. I've never really seen anyone call out any random DDT as being an IlliDDT unless it was a mistake. There's only one IlliDDT, and the chat calls it out no matter who hits it, not just Illidan. Freaking Waluigi can hit that move and the chat is calling it out. All we really know is that Illidan gets fucking hype about it. |

.....Was it seriously not obvious that I was being facetious about a "controversy?" I think like one fuckin' guy made a joke about it. |

While there's no chat confusion over what is the IlliDDT now, incidentally the origin of the IlliDDT actually seems to be quite unclear. Having watched all of Star Road 1 recently, I noticed that Illidan only used what's now known as the IlliDDT about five times maximum throughout the tournament. However, what he did use a ton during Star Road was his running DDT. Looking at Illidan's first VGCW match, it was said running DDT that drew more posts of "IlliDDT" in the chat than the current one. However, at some point between the End Game match with Little Mac and the Rumble match with Scorpion the chat began coming to a consensus that the IlliDDT was the one that began with a kick. This is the earliest instance I can find of an Illidan match where people discuss which is the IlliDDT. |

Learning to make a good caw since 2k13
|
Calling any DDT Illidan does as the IllDDT is no better when people called any punch Mac did the Star Punch. I always figured the IllDDT was the one that everyone uses when they try to use a submission when its turned off. |
