Drac is a one time champ.
We know.

Excuse me, he's a four time VGCW champion, and you should really show some respect.

Drac is a four time champ, he said it himself.

My only real complaint with this fantasy booking is that Dracula needs to be more heavily involved.
It would not sit right with me or most people, certainly, if the FOUR TIME. FOUR TIME. FOUR TIME. vgcw champ were to lose his belt though unfair means and never get a shot to retake it.
I did mean to keep his involvement vague and put down by Shadaloo in general, and imply that the beating he gets from Armstrong at the Rumble was exceptionally brutal, to the point where Alucard would have to step in. Thought it would be a good compromise so we wouldn't get "too much Dracula" at once.

Some massive catching up...

Episode 4:
- Midgar just in case Barret loses? Nice timing.
- Glitch Man never disappoints. Mavericks really want to lay low this season.
- Damn Bison even attacking Kefka. Someone stop that man!
- Lol what the hell is Asura. Seems he's quite crazy.
- Ending for the Dragons match was pretty cool. Finally they don't win with some stupid botch.
- Falcon keeps on losing. Not even a heel turn can make him a winner.
- The MitB is so packed. I mean, Ganondorf and Bowser are in it... I bet Toejam will win though.
- Holy shit the "Yahoo" sync when Zubaz kicked out of the F5. Zubaz worked so hard in that match. I'm starting to like that poor loser.

Episode 5:
- Gief could probably beat Scorpion in the curtain jerk. The streak never ends.
- Nappa is the best mastodon. King Vegeta will rule VGCW.
- Why the hell is Bison attacking Dr. Mario?! At least we get to see Mario fight again I guess. Perfect timing for Dr. Kirby to join the fray.
- Dragons losing now is perfect timing, although I can't imagine people will be that happy with Red being champion again. Well, the tag team with Illidan is cool at least so I hope they get some love.
- Fucking Brutality after the tag match was awesome. Felt like real WWE... in a good way.
- Duke calling Waluigi "kid" is hilarious since he looks like anything but a kid haha.
- Holy shit I can't believe Wily won a fucking title by himself. Triple Champion is his next goal.
- Yay Kacho segment is back. Whoever writes these is great. I haven't seen Belmont since his jobbing days haha, what the hell.
- MitB are always so stupid hahaha. The best part was Bowser and Waluigi climbing the ladder after Ganon had already one.
- Alucard's CAW is dope.
- Lol that ending was mean. It was an intense match too... Wonder what'll happen next week. Shades of Season 3 btw. All the buildup for Barret's goodbye or glory was pretty good though, hope it isn't ruined.

Also lol at some of the overreactions in this thread. The guy who overdosed from salt and asked to close his account got me. Think he's still here though so it seems he happily recovered :)

The Worm And Only

There are certain matches in the history of wrestling booking that shouldn't be ruined by giving a character heel heat. Barret vs. Dracula was one of them.

That match was building up to become of the best matches in VGCW history, and now it's all been ruined because I guess it's fun to dick around with the audience to get a heel character cheap heat.

Knowing that I will never get fulfilled my emotions watching Barret vs. Dracula, since the match never got a conclusion, I despise this decision.

TOH, you are right, this isn't like WWE-booking, not even WWE would do something this stupid.

Are you sure? Bison cut the feed but that's not a guarantee he disrupted the match itself, we could still hear it going on in the background after all and it might have been literally a second away from finishing with no signs of an interruption yet. Its no guarantee but we could still see a conclusion yet, sure it wouldn't quite have the same impact due to being delayed by a week but still, we don't actually know how this is playing out.

I mean honestly he could just do the match again and you'd probably care more about it being that it's been delayed. The entire premise of "Career Barret vs. Title Dracula" hasn't been ruined. Bison isn't standing over TOH right now slapping him lightly on the backside of the head and softly saying "no" every time he tries to set up the match again in 2K14.

I've already said there's a purpose to it, dude. Watch. I'm not doing it to work the audience for the sake of working them.

I feel like there was a time in actual wres where the conclusion of a match was played the following show. Or maybe I'm just thinking of the time WCW(?) had an unaired PPV match play on Nitro. (I may also be misremembering that as well)

Goldberg vs. DDP at Halloween Havoc 1998 was cut off because the show ran too long, so it was aired on Nitro the night after. Very good match, too.

Was arguably Goldberg's best match.

And because WCW was silly in regards to time management, they had to air it on free TV and give mass refunds.

Didn't WWE also give refunds for the dumb ending at Battleground 2013? I remember reading that they did.

I wasn't able to find refunds for the ending, but I did see reports that there were power outages leading to the main event not being aired, and people requested and got refunds from their cable providers because of that.

I do think that TNA had to give refunds out to fans after the Jeff Hardy/Sting debacle

Good thing VGCW is entirely powered by TROUT.
