Bison does seem to have them quite leashed right now though, and between that and him being the puppet master, any team stuff is probably coordinated by/through him. With that and the heavy expectations on them at the moment, it just felt rather striking. I hope to see more of what Asura can do. He mauled Groose quite handily and could probably be a good one-on-one wrecking ball. |

Part of me is kinda curious if we can pull off Asura as a title contender. |

Asura's gonna go places once this is over. I don't know if were keeping Blood Falcon, or getting the old version back, but as of right now I can't say whats happening to them. Bison might die at the end of this season. We always lose somebody at endgame, maybe Captain Falcon comes back and punches Bison like he did in his anime killing both of them. That would be something. |

People in his own series have tried the whole "killing him". It's never really stuck. He just keeps coming back. Death would be a pretty minor punishment for someone like Bison. It's really just an inconvenience for him. |

Do those work on non-namekia- er, non-demons? Idk I think the fight was OK. Though given what two of the three fighters wanted out of it, I'm surprised it wasn't eliminaton. At least it gives Shadaloo a bit of a boost though. What happens next...can't even begin to say. It was great how Barrett and Drac running over each other is what lost the match though, if you wanna talk about lack of teamwork. |

Considering he has only lost one non-hardcore 1v1 ever, I'd say he's in a pretty good spot as a singles dude. Sure, that one loss was Zubaz of all people, but that's not the point. |

From a wrestling perspective, Falcon doesn't come out looking any better than he started for me, personally I feel he looks worse after getting shit on for a decent portion of that match. From a story line perspective, that was really good. Bison's team now looks like at the very least a threat to others after barely being able to defeat a champion, the former contender (who didn't win anything to get there but still looked strong after his match with Drac), and also Flint, who kicked Bison in the dick last week. Bison's team now looks strong, but more importantly, they look beatable. They're not put up on a pedestal where they can only be brought down with plot. They look as though any team, be it Dadaloo/Grand Dads/Flint Stones/"whatever incorrect non-Grand Dad name appeared on their nameplate last night" or anyone else, could be able to knock them down. Remember last year when we were excited for this?

You know, I don't get why Bison got zero credit before the storyline started. Sure, he lost to Groose in a casual title match, but he earned that shot pretty fairly, and he was the only person to legit beat a Robot Master during Season 8. I mean, I get we all kinda want to forget about that season, but still. The lack of teamwork being a part of the angle makes sense. Bison's control only can do so much, and while Falcon is a mortal man (in whichever incarnation), controlling Asura would probably take quite a lot of willpower. So being a bit sloppy is understandable. That said, the fact that the match came down to Barret and Drac both saying "I'll save him!", and practically tripping over each other his hilarious, especially considering how good the teamwork on that side was for the first half or so of the match. |

And now Travis is being hired to take out Bison and/or his allies, and remember Bison beat Travis for that Casual shot. |

Episode comments: - The London fakeout was pretty funny. Nice to see you play around with the locations. - Ridley?! Excellent excuse to play Metroid music. - No contest, huh? Seems we'll get a rematch later. As long as it isn't in Endgame... - Nice seeing Travis in plot again, in a more interesting role. - Lol, we hadn't had an entrance swerve in a while I believe. It had to be Kefka! - Nappa's plot with Goemon was great. Two of my faves doing silly stuff. - The entrance of the Grand Dads was damn hype. Dracula has already proven he sucks at tag matches though so them losing was no surprise. - I lost it at Nappa asking Vegeta if he was anime. I kind of wanted to see Blond Goemon though. |

No mercy! Wounds that won't heal! Carved into flesh! Lethal Pain!
|
Could have potetial, given Guile's hair is kind of super Saiyan, Might have some good back and forth.
Ridley is too
That's a time that could work, but I think Haggar is staying with Heavy for the time being.
This one I do like, I'm not sure why, but it does have a charm. Edited by elcidthehero, Mar 20 2016, 11:33 AM.

Yeah Zangief and Kefka could have funny banter and would be an overall nice team, and Giule and Nappa already have that history from Nappas title loss to Guile so they have history, and I agree about Ridely being too new. |

Zubaz and Haggar will both never be in Street Fighter, but I tend to agree that Haggar can stick with Heavy for tag action, especially now that Heavy has lost the casual title. |
