Redeemed.

Hey. I wanted to thank everyone who contibuted to BWA. Today is the first episode of the show that I've watched, after being out for more than eight months, and it was a blast. Just like it was a blast to share concepts, play online and record all of the plot I've made with friends for ARENA back in the day. It definitely reminded me of great memories. I'm sure the final episode is going to be just as good, if not better. I regret not being around for most of this show, I regret not being able to assist you guys with the plot but you sure did just great without me, and I can only applaud you. Obviously, you know that if you need an extra pair of hands to make this last episode the best it can get, it'd only take one PM sent my way for me to jump in and help, despite everything. That'd also probably be my last chance at working with you guys, and I'm not gonna refuse that. But I know that with or without me, this final BWA show will be amazing. Thank you Belmont, Thank you BWA creative, Thank you VGCW. Whatever happens I'll never forget what you've all done for me. |

There are a lot of things that make me wish I'd discovered VGCW earlier than I did (my first live show was Breakdown 777 and I'd been watching bits of the old seasons for longer) and BWA is one of the big ones. It would've been magical to see more of this beautiful madness live, watching the youtube archives just isn't the same experience. It wasn't until a post in the announcement thread when Belmont mentioned that this episode took six hours just to render that I realised just how much fucking work goes into making these shows and I appreciate it so much more because of that and certainly don't begrudge Belmont wanting his free time back from this hell. I know, this probably doesn't really count as discussion, I just wanted to get these thoughts down now before I forgot what I wanted to say. So thanks Belmont, whoever else helps him with BWA and hell, anyone who watches BWA because you all contribute to the experience in irreplaceable ways. |

It's not just rendering that takes lot of time! The creative spent incredible amount of time creating plot segments for this show. I don't remember the exact length, but I'm pretty certain that Monty Python plot and VA-11 HALL-A plot I made took at least 7 hours each. Was it worth it? Yeah, probably. It would've been nice if more people watched and/or talked about this show (hell, look at the forums! it's pretty much dead right now!), but that never stopped people from putting work in this show! |

Yeah every average plot takes some time to make, first is the planning and all. Then most of the time you rely on a recorder (in my case 2fast, and once Prozach who recorded the Brock and Van Darkholme bits), so it's your own time thinking what to do with the plot segment, writing the thing, the time of the guy recording and editing when it is needed, that in BWA there were some crazy things going on,so you can count on video editing as needed. Then Belmont gets all these segments and has to put his own time to assemble the show and rendering. I sure wish we had more viewers and more discussion for our roster, but I think of every small time I spent working on this to be a great experience regardless. Edited by JNT, Sep 20 2016, 12:05 AM.
