More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.

(Note: End Game X2 was rescheduled for August 2nd, please note the new date.) What do you do when someone threatens your spot? Do you hand it over willingly? Share the limelight? Viable options for some, but not all. Others may take the road that gives them the best chance to maintain their place... They fight. ![]() Teaser by Kryptik Poster by Potatosaurusrex Zubaz's popularity reached incredible heights this season. Despite being unable to pick up a win, he's been inches away from victory multiple times, endearing himself to many VGCW fans with his efforts. One of these moments was a 6-man Casual contendership match, where Waluigi eliminated Zubaz for the title shot. But Waluigi couldn't get the belt, so he's set his sights back on Zubaz, claiming that he stole the fans away from VGCW's People's Champion. Zubaz offered to share his fanbase, but Waluigi wouldn't accept that for an answer, instead issuing a challenge for End Game X2. Who wins the battle of the lovable losers? And maybe more importantly, who wins the hearts of the people? A surprising matchup, but a gigantic one nonetheless. Ridley made his VGCW debut in Japan, causing kaiju flashbacks to emerge in the crowd. It's been a mixed bag since, with a win over Arino, a loss to DK in a guest appearance, and a hard-fought loss to Groose where it took 3 Groosenators to put him away. He found himself face-to-face with Bowser backstage, where we saw a brief argument start between them. Now things have suddenly escalated to a match at End Game X2. What prompted the big match, and who's going to win this clash of the titans? All R. Mika ever wanted to do was meet her hero, Zangief. After making use of some connections, Mika got her wish, and she was on the World Tour tagging along with her idol. At first Zangief was fine with things, as it was nice to be appreciated by his biggest fan. But suddenly he felt that Mika was getting the attention, leaving him in the dust. After Mika's surprise Rumble appearance where Zangief eliminated her, Gief had enough of it all, telling Mika to go back to WVGCW. But Mika felt disrespected, and she showed up challenging Zangief one-on-one at End Game X2. In a curious move, she mentioned that she's not after Zangief's famous curtainjerk winning streak, instead shifting the match to later in the card to make it more personal. It's a rare battle of the genders to settle the score! Last season, Vegeta was crowned the King of the Beach. He took the crown to heart, assembling a Royal Court and making his own decrees. Gary Oak attempted to put Vegeta in his place, but fell short on his own. So he took it upon himself to make a new king, the King of the World. Johnny Cage was the one to claim that crown after a tournament, and now he's come to odds with Vegeta. And if the battle for the rightful place on the throne isn't enough, a spot in the next VGCW Championship contendership match is also on the line! Who wears the crown better? The Co-Op Championship finally changed hands when the Dragons dropped the belts in a gauntlet, with Shadow Ball Valley finally toppling Billy and Jimmy. After a successful defense, they looked towards their next one, creating a Beat the Clock challenge to determine new contenders. The Mavericks managed to get the fastest time, and then went on to beat the second-fastest winners, Sonic Truffle, to earn a title shot. The two robots have been in a similar position before, as they ended the Co-Op reign of Red's previous team, PK Chu. After "laying low" for most of the season, they've got a chance to be on top again. Is it time for the robots to rise once more, or can the champs strengthen their hold on the belts? At the laboratories of Aperture Science, Seifer Almasy made the biggest advancement in his investigation yet. After confronting Senator Steven Armstrong about his shady movements, Armstrong decided to let Seifer in on what he claims is the biggest secret VGCW has to offer. They set off into a hidden door behind a bookcase... but what's the secret that awaits? Perhaps the biggest turnaround in recent memory, Dr. Wily has become an absolute maniac. After an impressive winning streak, the mad doctor scored a major upset over Casual Champion The Heavy to claim his first singles championship in his long career. Armed with a new confidence and some swagger in his new style, Wily's popularity's shot up on a rocket. Meanwhile, Guybrush Threepwood established himself as maybe the most formidable of the BLU Rogues, earning some wins and surviving the Little Cup Rumble to get a shot at the Casual belt. After the Rogues lost their grip on the Money in the Bank briefcase, is Guybrush able get some redemption, or is it destiny for Alberto to keep that title? In the main event, it's the prize that stands above all others: the VGCW Championship. Dracula once again enters End Game as champion, and this time it's a different blue-clad challenger gunning for the gold, as Phoenix Wright, winner of the Prime Cup Rumble, finally gets a one-on-one title match. While his famed winning streak is a distant memory and his stock has fallen to low levels, he enters with renewed confidence with the hopes of finally taking the VGCW title. After pinning the Casual Champion at the go-home show, it seems that we can't dismiss this lawyer so easily. Now he faces the very wrestler who ended his streak 2 years ago. VGCW's greatest prize is on the line as we close End Game X2! The Season 12 finale will air on Tuesday, August 2nd, starting at 7PM Eastern at live.VGCW.net! Please spread the word! |

Gotta wash my VGCW shirt for this. Please win, Phoenix, I'm begging you. I'm on my knees as I type this, begging you to grab that sweet sweet gold.

As we approach our Final Destination of End Game, we at Air VGCW would like to thank everyone. We had some good times, like watching Underdog (the best Disney movie) leading up to Blood Money, and we had some bad times, being nearly killed by a swarm of angry Blood Falcons or being held hostage by Bison. We had laughs, like Break Man trying to sneak onto the plane dressed as an elderly grandpa, we had some tears, like how no one got Barrett's frequent flier miles after he lost. We had people trying to become Casual Champ or Mr. Money in the Bank by stealing the respective reward from their proper owners. We had to rush to load the plane for the long and excruciating flight from Japan to Japanifornia. And most importantly, we had a lot of movies, both good and bad. And, to top it all, we must have a great final movie list. That's right, this is the last in flight movie selection. And the selection theme? Nothing in particular. Here are your final Air VGCW In Flight Movie options: Spoiler: click to toggle

More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.

Got some unfortunate news here. We hit a major snag of technical difficulties trying to get the last couple segments done. It's been an overnight effort to try to salvage this, but it's not working out. The way it's looking, it would look like a rushed mess if we tried to cobble together what we could and still air tonight. I don't want to give you guys something low-quality, especially for a season finale, I want this season to end as strong as possible. So I've made the call to delay End Game X2 until next week. I'm deeply sorry for those looking forward to it, and I really hate to do this on the day of the show, but I believe it's for the best. You deserve a great season finale, and if we need to push back to make sure that's what you get, then it's the right move to me. This extra week might help us be able to add some polish to the rest of the show as well, so we'll do our best to make the wait worth it. As personal punishment, I will subject myself to Bad Rats Show tonight. Feel free to stop by as I apologize profusely to confused viewers. In any event, I hope you'll be there next week for End Game. Again, my sincerest apologies, I appreciate your understanding. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
Scheduling-wise, this works out much better for me, so I certainly don't mind. I just hope there wasn't any sort of crazy Twitch promotion that's going to be really confused by all of this. |

No TOH! Don't do it! Nobody deserves that kind of torment! (More seriously, this had to be a difficult call to make, and there won't be any hard feelings here for doing so - I hope you find a solution to whatever tech issues you're having, and I look forward to the show next week). |
