This ish me'town!
It's been something around 3 years since I logged in. I haven't had time to keep up with job and family. I've been catching replays on FITS VGCW Network on YouTube and I really want to thank FITS for that as it's been a lifesaver.

But I really just wanted to say. Thanks Bazza, TOH and all the rest for the greatness. I'll be there in the chat for the BRYN's final BreakDown since it'll be during my summer vacation.

Tonight really was the night. Thanks all, wish I could have taken a more active part in this.

Thank you for everything, to everyone who's helped out with this show. I joined the VGCW community during a very lonely time in my life, and I had no idea that I would end up finding not only a show that would give me something to do for the next four years, but a load of great people that I could talk to.

I live in the middle of Nowhere, England, so having a group of fellow losers to chat with his basically been a lifeline for me. I'm glad to have been here for so long, and a huge thank you to everyone for keeping it going for as long as they did.

Thank you for an extraordinary final show. It was a perfect send off to many wonderful years of crazy video game wrestling, and even though there were misses, the hits outshine the misses by miles!

I am truly inspired by how much work you put to this final show. Thank you so much for that, Toh, Kryptik, Bazza, and everyone else who helped make all of it possible.

The ending was so optimistic that I actually didn't cry. Thanks for all you've done TOH and Kryptik (and Cran, and Bazza, and everybody else). I'll always be happy that I was able to witness it all

I've said it in the past enough so I'll keep it short:

Thank you. From one of the lurkers to the showrunners, all who were involved, fits and the community.

It's taken me about a week to let it all sink in and to catch up on the bits of EGX3 that I missed out on live, but I think I've gathered my thoughts and am ready to say my piece.

This is a story I've told several times on the forum. I first discovered VGCW quite by chance, on YouTube, in late 2013. At that point, I was working in a foreign country, in a job I was useless at, with people whom I didn't get on with. I felt isolated from the friends I'd made prior to leaving the country, and generally very low. Somehow, despite never watching a minute of WWE in my life, the weird world of fake video game wrestling drew me in. First, on spectacle. Then on music, and chat antics. Before I knew it, I started caring about the results, cheering for muh favourites, picking up on the chat lingo, and seeking out old bits of plot that the Wiki had raved about. From around the start of Season 6, I started lurking via the YouTube tapes as they were uploaded. It wasn't until much, MUCH, later, when Nightmare Gabe killed Grey Fox, that I felt stunned enough that I could no longer hold my thoughts in, and felt I had to tune in to the live streams and join the forums. My initial fears of the community being unwelcoming were quite unfounded.

So, really, this is a thank you not only to TOH and the creative team (whose immense efforts can't be understated), but to everyone who's ever been involved with VGCW. Whether you ran a show, hosted a Mafia, spread betting, survivor, or prediction game, made a suggestion in feedback or music pitches*, contributed to the wiki or discussion on forums, bought trout, recorded and uploaded a show, kept an archive, said a funny in the chat or posted an in-joke on an otherwise unrelated video... you - all of you - have made VGCW truly great as a show, an interest, and a community.

Of course, this isn't farewell. WVGCW, EDBW, and BWA will keep the community together, as will indie leagues. But as the main show comes to an end, it seems only fitting to say how grateful I am for the memories, the banter, and dare I say the friends it brought. Every time the 1-800-FRIENDS joke goes around and I say "I HAVE NO FRIENDS," I like to think I'm lying.
