Guile did nothing wrong

I always thought a console/handheld hybrid would be too gimmicky but this honestly looks great so far, Nintendo's back baby |

Posted this elsewhere so I'm just going to copy it here. - Switch is a solid name, it gets across the main theme of the system. - The system is almost identical to rumors that have been spread about it so it's kind of disappointing in the sense that it's not a suprise. - Using cartridges over discs in concept is good as they're easily portable and it means loading becomes much less of an issue. - Complaints about visuals seem a bit pointless as it stands since from a technical standpoint it still obliterates the Vita and 3DS which are the other pure handheld systems on the market. The two main factors right now the system will live or die from are the games and the price. For the games we have been shown there is new stuff but it is largely vague as of now what they are and/or when they release, as it stands Zelda BOTW looks to be the big launch title right now. The system launches soon so expect them to start rolling out trailers and reveals for games at launch and for the future. The price we have no indication of at this point but obviously if it's expensive people are going to be more hesitant to buy it, especially as it's something people are going to be carrying around with them. |

I have concerns about how games will run on the handheld portion, both graphically and framerate-wise. Other than that, looks interesting enough to me. Might pick it up at launch since my Wii U is shot and I don't want to rely on it to play Breath of the Wild. |

Nintendo promised us something innovative and special, keeping secret for practically 2 years about it. And they delivered us smartphone controllers. Spoiler: click to toggle
