I spent a bunch of time making Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes. Sorry about the cell phone pictures. I think I'm finally happy enough with how he turned out.

Spoiler: click to toggle

I'm really happy with his moveset, because I managed to get almost every wrestling move from the games into it.

edit: Oh right I was gonna ask about the VGCW tag. I didn't use it but I was wondering if we were SUPPOSED to use it for submissions, glad I didn't now.
How I see it, the only people that should be uploaded with the VGCW tag are people that were previously in VGCW and who are on the current roster. Otherwise, keep it off.

I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.
Decided to reupload Brock, using a tag called "VGCWAPP", which I think could work for new hopeful CAWs. I'd consider it like a "VGCW Application" mark, and a good way to let Bazza and everyone else to see what has been done and so on. Perhaps then if it's good and Bazza goes for it, it then can be given the VGCW tag (or WVGCW tag for obvious female CAWs). Otherwise, if rejected, then that's it for that CAW.

Unsure if anyone else will go along with it, but methinks this could at least be a thing that can help keep these clean and easy to both keep new and in-fed CAWs seperate, and also make easy to find them when you want to. So yeah.

I re-uploaded Gene and Amazing Nine Tails under their names but VGCWAPP sounds like an idea (I need to know how to download the app for the Android though...)

Remember last year when we were excited for this?
An alternate tag for characters who have not yet been a part of VGCW does make sense, but with the way the search works, if you make the tag VGCWAPP, and someone searches for VGCW, they'll still find your CAW. For example, I have just done so, and Ancara's Brock still appears. Maybe SNST or VIDYA would be a more appropriate tag?

I think APP by itself might work, it's short and probably wouldn't conflict with many applicants' names when tagged.

Decided to reupload Brock one last time, using the tag VIDYA. Nothing else uses that tag (At least when I checked), so I think it'd be perhaps the best tag to use for potential new entries to look at.

Good idea on the tag. I'll reupload Geese without the VGCW tag once I get home from work this morning.

My only complaint about that Travis is that his head is kinda big. Like, it's too long or something. Other than that, it's perfect.

That's a pretty good Torgue first draft! A little more work on the face and you'll have a winner on your hands for sure. Is there any way to make his gloves look more like metallic plaques, and would there be a way to make his face properly scowly?

e: I hope his moveset features every power bomb imaginable

His moveset does have just about every powerbomb I can fit

reworked his face and added the metal plates on his arms

Well, I went off and did a thing that might have ended up more horrifying than I think should have been. But damn if I didn't at least try.

Spoiler'd for reasons:

I took a good long look at Travis on Google Image Search and I believe you're right about his head, so I went back to revise it. I'd completely forgotten about the head, cranium, and forehead size options so I tweaked it for awhile to create something I think looks better.

It's hard for me to get a good old/new comparison shot what with the cell phone, angle, depth, etc but I tried with a couple pics. When comparing the two on my own TV with the game I can see the difference clearly but it's harder for me to get it down on cell phone camera, so if someone wants a better comparison then they can check Travis out online. Both version are on the 2K14 servers, 2.0 has the Vidya tag.

Old version vs. 2 similar pictures of new version

Image breaks tables so I'm just linking it here.
