To be honest, I kinda like the idea of Frog taking his cape/cloak/mantle/whatever off before the match starts. It's like how Nappa takes his armor off before a match, among other, better examples. |

The slightly flatter head makes it subtly but notably better, in my opinion. As for the cape crash...weird. Is it happening consistently? |

Nah, it hasn't happened again. I think some animations just broke and the game locked up. Frog was wandering around trying to grab Octodad, who was already grabbing "someone" (i.e. standing stock still) and not a valid target. |

I'd leave the cape, then. Good work! (seriously, fuck this game, it's a total mess) |

Is it possible to make his lower eye ridge less pronounced? Like, the actual head, not the painted on eyes? |

While I won't be able to upload this guy along with Sawk and Throh (game needs updating and bad connection...) I'd thought I'd share this with you guys and see what needs to be changed. Spoiler: click to toggle

He looks pretty decent...but his cape doesn't quite match. Any reason you made it a fuzzy white? No other cape/color looked right that was available? Modeled after a game I don't know about? |

The other capes weren't wide enough and didn't drape over his shoulders like so, I might reedit the shoulder parts to try and make it look more silver-ish if possible.

That Frog CAW looks absolutely amazing. I also think keeping the cape on during matches would be cool... if it doesn't cause problems during the matches. All we need is a Magus CAW to have some rivalry with Frog... or even a tag team. Sigma looks pretty good but it is a shame about the cape. |

Sigma looks pretty good but it is a shame about the cape. [/quote]I think it makes Sigma look even more of a douche bag than he normally is so...I think it works.

The shape seems pretty good, although I'd probably make his arms and hands a little fatter. I think the biggest dealbreaker for me isn't the cape, but the gems. They're just dull circles, when you can do a pretty respectable 2d gem effect if you've got enough layers left or if you're willing to use a custom logo. Gems made simple: 1) Make a circle of the color you want. 2) Make a slightly smaller, darker circle and overlay them 3) Add a circle/oval of the original color over the top, angled to make the dark circle into a dark crescent. 4) Add a white circle near the top edge of the circle you made in step 3 Spoiler: click to toggle And there you go, a 2d surface that's far more noticeably gem-like than just a colored circle! Try not to make it perfectly symmetrical and you'll get a pretty good effect! Oh, and I'd also make Sigma's colors a little more muted. They're pretty close, they just seem a little too bright. Sigma's pretty bright green, yeah, but it's a pretty distinct color: Spoiler: click to toggle Anyway, other than some minor nitpicks that's a very good CAW. Sigma's distinctive and recognizable. Thanks for the advice, I made the edits needed, though not shown are the bigger arms and hands but I made them rather huge so hopefully it'll work. I also went and darkened the white on his cape to try and make it look more metal-ish, I think I got it close... ![]() |
