Eeeh...personally not a fan, but it's at least a fairly decent CAW. |

I'll take it as a compliment. And I fixed his stats, so he's not going to eat one GVD and then get pinned....I hope. Hell, he already survived a Triple Threat against Rugal Bernstein and Wolfgang Krauser on my roster (neither of them were nerfed, by the way), so if he can win against TWO SNK bosses....... |

Well, seeing as I have an MMX character CAW out there, despite being a classic series fan, I decided to give the Classic some representation: Quick Man: Spoiler: click to toggle The eyes are a bit simple but as it is, he's overloaded with layers. And in case you were wondering, he was mostly patterned after the Megamix version of Quick Man, with some obvious caveats for both simplicity's sake and toward the classic version. And yeah, usual iPad camera disclaimer. |

Spoiler: click to toggle No he doesn't. But still, that is an amazing Quickman! It kinda makes me wish that every time Airman got defeated he'd be replaced by a different Robot Master, but that'd be a ton of work for very little payoff. |

Man, you could just throw in that Rugal Bernstein CAW and you've got yourself a stable. "SNK Boss Syndrome" all up in here. |

His beard, mustache and hair should really all be white. Other than that, it's not a bad CAW at all. Maybe if you can add some cuffs to his wrists to make him a little more distinct (All of his sprites and artwork have them) Oh, and his move set should contain an absurd number of jump attacks and headbutts, as well as a move where he spins himself around. |

The Kerbal guy and Geralt look really nice. Damn it, now I got to cut some people. 100 slots just isn't enough... |

I've been working on a couple of CAWs recently, and the more I work on them the more I realize: WWE 2K14 just isn't good at understated character designs (RIP Gunstar Heroes CAWS). So, I've also been thinking about Link, the Hero of Time. His design seems to suffer the same general problem: it's pretty simple, because of the N64's limitations. This also which also makes it a challenge to replicate in WWE 2K14. So maybe Ocarina of Time's link is best left in 2K13? But if the Hero of Time isn't the hero we need, what about the Hero of Light? Spoiler: click to toggle I'm pretty sold on his entrance Spoiler: click to toggle The chainmail wasn't even that hard to do (and it came out far better than I expected) Spoiler: click to toggle I'm just not entirely sold on the face yet. It's so hard to replicate Anime-esque features. Spoiler: click to toggle He's still a W.I.P., but he feels very close to complete. Once I finish hammering out an entertaining move set, I'll probably put him up on VIDYA. Right now, I'm just fishing for suggestions on finishing touches! Link Ring Announcer Name: Hero of Lightning Game: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Commentary Name: Hero Billed From: The Old Country Possible Entrance themes: Orchestra Piece 1 is probably the best, but you have to start it about 47 seconds in for it to make a good VGCW intro Hyrule Field Day is another good one, and it's long enough to carry extended scenes as well Edited by PoptartsNinja, Dec 15 2013, 11:28 PM.
