I simply want to make ones that'll have a good chance of joining W/VGCW.... |

Make a CAW because it's fun or you want to challenge yourself. The fun of making CAWs is finding out what the game can pull off (or almost pull off). If it's just about getting someone into VGCW you'll be disappointed and quickly give up. Just make the best quality CAWs you can, and let that be the long and short of it. If Bazza had a list of CAWs he wants made for the show, he wouldn't share it here--but that doesn't mean you can't create characters you like. Chances are, if you like them other people probably will too. And if you don't like them, why make them at all? |

Oh....I see. Just wanna know what's off limits for W/VGCW, or if someone's already done an idea of mine....That way, I can focus my energy easier... |

Learning to make a good caw since 2k13
|
I know I just enjoy making new wrestlers and stuff, I mostly post them here to see if they are any good or if they can be improved in some way. If they can get into the show then thats just an added bonus on my part. Also nothng really is 'off-limits' per say, just make whoever you want to make. Edited by slashkamei, Dec 29 2013, 08:57 PM.

You shouldn't make CAWs with expectation to get them into something. Most of the CAWs I make are entirely for challenge and self-enrichment, and if they were to happen to get in, that's cool, too! |

This. I made MMX5 Sigma despite there already being a Sigma posted around here, mostly as a challenge to myself, to see if it was possible with my realm of skill. Same with Quick Man. Others I just enjoyed the chars and thought they might translate well into the game. Keep in mind, sometimes you can learn some things by examining other people's CAWs, such as certain tricks of design, or the limit of what each slider can possibly do and how to make that work for a char. |

Personally if I had a PS3 the first thing I'd do is make a Shrek Caw and post it here. The thread is technically for suggestions, but I think as long as they fall within a realm of acceptable suggestions, they'd be okay to post here, even if they'd be rather far-flung. Or you can post them in the "I'd like to see" thread. |

I wouldn't create a CAW for the sole purpose of getting it in VGCW, and more importantly, I wouldn't do it for character I don't know. You'll fail to bring out the personality that character has. In short, your CAW will never get in VGCW if you prioritize its status (as VGCW wrestler), and fail to understand that CAWs are made for the purpose of fun or challenge. When you are making a CAW, you are not wasting your time. You can figure out what technique you can use for CAWs, for find fitting wrestling moves and use it for future CAWs. Improvements. If someone else made a CAW, you can improve it. Multiple people have made CAWs of same character, and they all play out differently because they have different interpretations. If you have an idea and CAW already exists, then go for it anyway. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?

I agree with all of this. The characters I make are the ones that I like the most, from some of my favorite games. While, yes, I do come at it with the thought that "This would be cool if it got on the show", it's not vital to me, and frankly I'm having a damn lot of fun with four of my CAWs in Universe mode right now, despite not getting a lot of attention here. So look at your game library, look at random parts in the editor, listen to various theme musics, and just pick something that would be awesome to you. Would you believe I've been toying with this one? But feel free to grab her, as I'm not really sure what I'm going to do about her hair. She's got the same problem that Cammy does with the crazy braids, and I was thinking about just logoing them onto her jacket. Also, only one hoodie for women? What's up with that? |

In '13 I used the feather boa to represent her pigtails, but considering Ayla has them too... And that's disappointing to hear about the loss of hoodie options for women in 2k14. As long as those sock-like boxing pad things are still in the game, it shouldn't be too bad. |

If you have a camera, you can take a picture and upload it to a place like photobucket then post the link here. |

CRAZY NOISY BIZARRE TOWN

I just looked at the Virgil CAW, and it's pretty low-effort. I could have made that CAW for christ's sake. |
