Gonna need a little more specifics if I'm going to fix it, but I'm more than happy to make tweaks if you're able to identify the problem! The biggest ones I can personally think of: 1) because of the hat, I had to put the eyes lower--and because of the way ears work, they aren't round when you look at them from the sides (which is disturbing). 2) The bottom of the fake mouth conforms to the movements of the real mouth, which looks really weird if the CAW smiles (but tends to be pretty OK if he yells or talks or does anything they tend to in an actual match). 3) The real eyes - if he moves just right, you can see the shading of the brows which makes it look like his head is deformed. The hat covers this most of the time, but Frog had the same issues and there's nothing I can really do about it. 4) The nose is always going to be a bit too distinct with a lighter-color face. In motion and in matches it's not too noticeable, but sometimes it can stand out in the intro. King Dedede, Wendy O. Koopa, Frog, and Bowser Jr. all have the same issue to some degree or another. I tried different techniques to hide it with each of them, and it's possible the one I tried with Slippy backfired. In slippy's case, I tried to disguise the nose as his long, sticky tongue. I used this as my base: Spoiler: click to toggle

![]() I made his chin bigger and more defined, changed up the lips and gave him more of a scowl, and fixed up his nose. Also made his legs longer and skinner, and added his am strips. If there is anything else that can be improved upon I will move him to the CAW W.I.P. thread. And here is a camcorder quality vid of his opening...cus I don't have a capture card yet. |

Slippy looks hilarious but the hat is too big so the face looks a bit weird. |

Okay, here's my first CAW ever made. This is Mordecai from Borderlands (the first one). It's obviously not that good, but I'll improve over time... I think ^^' Sorry for the screenshots' quality by the way. I took them with a crappy smartphone. Spoiler: click to toggle Based on : Spoiler: click to toggle Don't hesitate to give me feedback. I'll upload the CAW once it's finished (I only made the attire so far, which will also be improved). Edited by Blauze, Feb 4 2014, 02:30 PM.

Dracula's drinkin' buddy

Well, it's definitely not finished, but there's some adjustments that you can make right away to help out quite a bit. Thin him down more if you can. Like, whatever the thinnest setting is, for both body and limbs, go for it. Lengthen his legs in relation to his torso. I don't actually have the program, so I'm not sure how much of this is actually possible. Make his -neck- thinner, if that's possible, too. Colorwise, those sleeves have got to go. Like, the blue/silver is just way too light a tone and it looks really jarring. Put in a much darker grey if possible. Someone with actual experience can tell you where to go with the CAW and maybe offer some pointers, but that's the big thing that I can get by eyeballing the model and the source material. |

I can't make it any smaller, it's already oversized so people's hair can fit down underneath it, and Slippy's cranium is as narrow as I could get it to make it as small as possible. |

![]() Introducing Andy Kaufman, ready to take on The King once again. Went off his appearance from his match with Jerry Lawler which fit, for obvious reasons, and cus they had hair that looks a lot like his from that time. I tried to make a more normal looking Andy as an ult but could find the right hair, so I made Tony Clifton instead. For the face I made the eyebrows as this as possible and made his eyes as wide as I could, while slimming down his face and neck. Obviously the key to making him look like Andy is getting the face right so I hope I did a good job. His intro music is Man on the moon by R.E.M. starting :18 into the song, and his finisher is To The Moon. ![]() |

UHHHH YEAH! He was in Andy Kaufman trolls everyone for the commodore 64. Seriously though, I wouldn't say he is VGCW material per se, but I do think it would be cool to see him in a one off special even where he rematches King, you know given kings colorful history with VGCW. |
