CRAZY NOISY BIZARRE TOWN
|
She'll be the Woody of WVGCW, telling everyone to get fit. Her rival would be Grunty obviously. |

To me, Sony had a vast improvement from last year conference. Nintendo's stream wasn't mind blowing, but I did enjoy watching it. There was nothing that Microsoft presented held any interest to me. |

I really liked the non-TV/Netflix/etc. features the Xbone has, but the most important one for me was dedicated servers for online multiplayer. I'm going to get a PS4 first, especially after the announcement that it will be region free, but if Sony doesn't do something similar and the population numbers aren't much, much worse on the Xbone, I'll probably spend most of my console time on the Xbone over the long run. I might get a 3DS XL sometime, but that really depends on if Smash is going to have online multiplayer on the 3DS, because Nintendo cannot sell me a Wii U. Also, fuck the 3DS being region locked, I want to play the new GCCX 3DS game when it comes out. Edited by versus, Jun 11 2013, 02:52 PM.

I'm fairly convinced after seeing the trailer that she'll be one of those 'crazy enough to work' characters just like Mr. G&W and ROB were. |

I think Sony wiped the floor with Microsoft, but well, it was really really easy for them to. They just had to not be completely awful. Nintendo convinced me to buy a Wii U, because there is no way I'm not playing a DKC game with Dixie Kong AND David Wise doing the music. |

Sony really has come a long way from GIANT ENEMY CRAB and playing with Dildos. They stepped it up. |

Hey you,whatchugondo?

Well,in my opinion Sony clearly won this year. However I have to commend Microsoft for actually showing games, and not kids doing weird stuff with the Kinect. Still haven't watched Nintendo's direct, though I read the summary, and unless there was something mindblowing that I didn't notice,it was okay.Really glad Megaman got into the SSB roster, but disappointed at Wii Fit Trainer,I mean was that the best idea they could come up with? |

Clearly they are waiting until the last minute to announce Arino's inclusion as part of GCCX's tenth anniversary. |

Is Nintendo planning to show the full roster anytime soon? Edit: I just noticed there is a #THQuality emoticon, lol, I must commend whoever put this in Edited by Plorb, Jun 11 2013, 03:12 PM.

If it's anything like they did with Brawl, they'll let the char announcements drip through bit by bit to build hype. |

I agree with the sentiments that Sony is the overall winner this year. Other than the Netflix stuff at the beginning which I couldn't care less at this point, Sony came out and did everything that was needed to be successful from here on out into the next gen race. All of this working out for their favor remains to be seen, as I'm sure Microsoft will spend their moneyhats for a huge marketing blitz. Speaking of Microsoft, I guess the games that they showed were a lot better than they showed off in these last few years. Titanfall looked cool, opening with MGS V is smart and the game itself looked great but I hope it's in the same vein as MGS 1 and 3 were because 2 and 4 were.. yeah. To me overall though, both shows seemed to drag a lot. That's where I thought Nintendo would excel at with their new Nintendo Direct approach with E3 this year, unfortunately the stream itself was lagging so badly. I felt my soul was being sucked out of my body when new games and info were being fast forwarded because the stream crapped out on mostly all of us. It hurt the overall messaging for Nintendo and I hope they reconsider their approach next year or at least upgrade their servers. Fortunately there was a replay on YouTube immediately after the original live feed and most of the games themselves looked good to great. The new Mario looks good, but kind of disappointing that it wasn't a massive leap like Galaxy was in terms of scope, imagination and new stuff. It's obviously a 3D Land sequel. I loved 3D Land on the 3DS but I would've rather seen something else. Mario Kart 8 looked far better than I thought it was going to be graphically. X looks amazing, can't wait for that. I wish Retro would've worked on something else rather than Donkey Kong, I'm sure it'll be fine though like Returns was. OMG SMASH!! It was awesome! Looked great too! Wind Waker looked lovely too, can't wait to replay that.Overall grading score: Sony A- Nintendo B and Microsoft B or B+ can't really choose.

One of the E3 highlights is Reggie going apeshit on Geoff and telling Dorito Pope to go and PLAY. THE. GAME. Based Reggie. |
