I don't think you need statistics to determine that the PS4 is getting along better with the crowd than the XBONE.

But solid facts and sales number is better than saying "LOL XBOX1 SUX. PS4 SO GOOD". The only country that XboxOne pre-orders have exceeded PS4 orders is Canada because the PS4 pre-orders allocated to that country sold out and were less than what Microsoft has available. |

things can change a lot from now to launch, and things can change from launch to 6 years from then anyone thinking any one console has "won" (whatever that means) probably hasn't been paying attention to console history |

Yes but please ask Nintendo about their initial Wii sales and pre-order numbers and how they managed to make their last console a success mostly off of having a high early adoption rate. Here's the list of games for Each next gen console including exclusives. As you can tell the XboxOne currently has 59 Games announced for it and 22 console exclusives games and Playstation 4 has 72 games total and 35 exclusive games. http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/54628/playstation-4-vs-xbox-one-a-list-of-all-confirmed-next-gen-titles-and-exclusives |

Not until I see any exclusives that are absolute must haves. The whole drm thing has honestly just soured my opinion of the machine... not to mention, my 360 pissed me off. And maybe this is mostly my fault, but what the hell Microsoft, I swear your cases broke some of my discs. |

It sure did. It changed my opinion from "Microsoft doesn't like its consumers" to "Microsoft doesn't like its consumers, has no credibility, and doesn't stick to its guns". They did this partially to escape all the bad press that they've been getting. But things are only going to get worse for them in the coming days as the media comes down on them for being so wishy-washy. |

Been under a rock since S4

I would've been more optimistic about the Xbox One had they stuck to their guns on the DRM and at least tried to give any justification for it. As it stands now, I'm completely, absolutely uninterested in the One since Microsoft has essentially alienated itself from 99% of the indie dev community, none of its confirmed exclusives appeal to me, and so so much more. |

The Xbox One has given me more entertainment in the time prior to its release than it could ever hope to in the time following. A 180-turn salute to you, Microsoft. I'll remember you when I'm unwrapping my PS4. |

Meh, still getting a PS4. But I have to say, this is the biggest u-turn in the history of gaming ever. |

>and doesn't stick to its guns so you WANTED them to stay anti-consumer? if they can get the price down to around ps4 then i will pick the bone up after a few years unless sony can actually show some games i give two shits about that aren't multiplats KI and titanfall are the only remotely interesting games i saw at E3 that wasnt a ninty game (knack looked like it could be good then i saw gameplay of it )

Well all the good Xbox exclusive things like sharing digital games and selling digital copies are gone now so now I really REALLY don't have a reason to get an XboxOne in the far future. Maybe at the end of the systems lifespan I'll get one just to catch up on games but I and many other americans dont have $500+ tax to drop on a system when a good PC or Tablet would be about the same price. |
