The SNES, largely because of Metal Warriors. |

SNES because it has the better controller and better sound chip inside of it. Apart from all the games and other bells and whistles (I'd give the edge to SNES in games too) from a purely hardware standpoint the SNES is the better machine. |

TOUGH BOY

People sing about the SNES soundchip all day. Boring. But you'll never get this raw as hell amazing sound out of an SNES. Grungy, mean, and hard. |

CUTE!

I have to go with the SNES too. The Genesis had great games too but I feel I got more enjoyment out of the SNES. |

It's simple, really. One of these systems had Super Mario World, the other one didn't. Oh and I guess Chrono Trigger, FFVI, Kirby Super Star, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Yoshi's Island among other things. But mostly Mario World. Edited by Black Ghost, Jun 25 2013, 03:21 PM.

But that's not even the pinnacle of Genesis video game music though. |

For some reason, this post made me want a Genesis soundchip remix of Chrono Trigger's OST. |
