First they cancel Mega Man Legends 3. Then they make AA5 digital only outside Japan. Now they announce a new Mega Man game, and it's a fucking board game! people even play board games anymore? I hopw Capcom goes bankrupt and gives their properties to people who know what to with them, because Capcom clearly doesn't. Edit: Here's a link http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/07/an_official_mega_man_board_game_is_coming Edited by KoopaLandInc, Jul 27 2013, 01:02 PM.

uh...yes people do play board games...and I'm fine with AA5 being download only, we are still getting it. Would you rather we NEVER get the AA game to begin with? Also for the record, I would play the board game. Edited by slashkamei, Jul 27 2013, 01:07 PM.

Well people have been asking for a new Mega Man game for a while. So they gave us one. Maybe we should've been more specific and said "video game". |

and Capcom is looking to go toward a free to play model with Fighting games if Killer Instinct, Tekken and DoA5 succeed with their Free to play fighting game efforts Yoshinori Ono-san said today. Are you ready to be given only ryu, ken, guile, and chun-li and then have to play $5 for every addition character kids?! AND MORE GEMS. YOU MUST BUY MORE GEMS TO BE GOOD AT THE GAME. Edit: I think people would actually buy more DLC costumes if 1. Most of them didnt suck and 2. Players got reimbursed or got a replacement skin for Magneto instead of paying 25% more for a costume pack thean they should have. Again capcom's own fault for digging their own graves. Go take a look at some of the horrible SF4 costumers for Blanka and other characters. Edited by RurouniGeo, Jul 27 2013, 07:08 PM.

Yea I am not a fan of the new free to play trend, pay to win fighting games just sounds like an amazing idea. Like those totally awesome DLC gems for SFxT that gave whoever uses them a massive advantage. Great stuff, ugh. |

Actually excited for a new board game to play, in fact while I was out at a cottage with friends this weekend (Missed VGCW, Man dat Sagat!) we played nothing but Risk, Settlers of Catan and *Shock* Street Fighter Monopoly! Digital copies of games are awesome, and actually save the environment some trouble, so chill dawg. And Ono had to fight tooth & Nail for USF4, it was not a capcom decision to just throw another street fighter 4 out there. Sfxt and gems still suck though, I'll agree with that. |

Ono has been working himself to death at Capcom for the past 3 years. I'm pretty sure all the nightmare stories people used to hear about Japanese developers in the late 90's about 70+ hour work weeks and sleeping under desks is still going on at some companies and capcom might be one of them. There's only so much Ono can do to salvage everything and make good things like street fighter 4 better. What alot of people don't know is Capcom is a business owned and run by a family and the creator of Capcom is slowly stepping down. His Son Haruhiro Tsujimoto took over in 2007 as President (I hardly think its a coiendence that there was a massive fallout with the capcom veteran staff such as Shinji Mikami, Hideki Kamiya and others and that Clover studios was closed at the time the new president came to power) So if you want someone to blame for a far more conservative and profit at any cost orientated Capcom blame Haruhiro and the other execs at capcom who are taking over. |

I would count Monster Hunter as the "pokémon effect" series for Capcom. The one franchise that makes so much money and fills out completely such a gamer niche that it becomes virtually impossible to mess it up or cancel it outright for no reason. They can do the stupidest thing ever (a garbage pokémon for instance...) and still not hurt their IP any. |

Well, they kicked themselves in the ass by not having the 3ds version of monster hunter playable over wifi, have to connect to the Wii U version...so...why bother getting the 3ds version exactly? |
