I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.

Thinking about it, we should consider the possibility of Barret possibly both beating Drac and also surviving the MitB cash-in that may or may not happen to him soon afterward once Blood Money happens. If Barret ends up as our new champ, then who would be some fitting choices for a contender's match for a first proper defense when inevitably he has to defend it at full health and so forth? So many choices for such, but unsure who would be fitting enough to send into such a contender's match. |

I don't think any of us are pondering the possiblity of hell freezing over. But most likely, as MitB won't be decided till right before the title match, there won't be a cash-in, so it's pointless to ponder contenders till we know who has the briefcase, as there's been very little consistent momentum among the top card lately. |

The more immediate factor is that anyone who could get the case would have wrestled a brutal six-man match that very night, so a cash-in at Blood Money is unlikely even if Mr. MITB would be determined in the curtain jerk. Also, it's hard to say who will be the next contenders regardless of who walks out of Blood Money as champion -- in all the title scenes, for that matter. Red might have a good case for the big gold, and Dan has been gaining some momentum that could place him in the Casual or possibly even the Main scene. The teams who challenged The Dragons before the gauntlet are probably going to have to wait a while, and everyone in the MITB match likely won't go straight into a contenders match. Nobody really has a definite claim from what I can tell, at least those who aren't busy with plot or the briefcase. It'll probably be another couple weeks of matches after Blood Money before we can get a picture. |

It seems like Vegeta is getting wrapped up in a feud with Gary of all people...which, considering the form he's in at the moment, seems a little small-time when he could easily be challenging for the belt. |

I dunno. I'd consider Control of the company a bigger prize than the title. |

Vegeta's all about expanding his kingdom and horizons. He'll probably try to go after both. Also, we know that Armstrong is leading Gary to go after Vegeta, but we don't know what Vegeta's priorities are right now. The King of the Beach might try going after the title or beating the hell out of Bison first. |

Ignoring the fact that Barret is surely owed a rematch and the fact that Bison might stick his nose into the title picture, it's looking likely that the first in line for a shot is gonna be Nappa. ._. Him and Vegeta both have a great claim, but are obviously preoccupied with other things. If this was used as an excuse to keep Nappa away from the title then cool, but both of them are pretty deserving. If you consider losing the MITB match as failing a #1 Contender's Match then Bowser and Duke, who are also a little bit of a roll, would go to the back of the line again, but if not, they probably only need a couple more wins each. Ultimately though, with Shadaloo fucking our shit up, nothing is certain. We gotta stop em. Edited by Soundwave, Mar 3 2016, 10:40 AM.

Maybe Gary will try and create dissension in Vegeta's ranks by booking Vegeta vs Nappa for the contendership. |

My bigger interest in who the next tag contenders are going to be. Now The Dragons have finally dropped the belt, the gauntlet is over, so we'll be getting back into Contenders Matches, and we have lots and lots of new teams ready to face the champions, who are THEMSELVES a new team, having won the damn belts on their second ever match together. It's the sort of thing that should annoy me, but Red and Illidan are established enough to get away with it. Illidan especially is going to be able to use that accolade to great effect. Beating The Dragons makes Illidan look as strong as the plot he's in usually needs him to be. As for who to challenge them, Fisherman's Horizon is an obvious choice with two wins. The only other two teams with any sort of momentum that I can think of are The Saiyans and Final Fantasy 3 & Knuckles. That would be a good match-up, but Vegeta and Nappa are probably gonna be really busy for the rest of the season and we might just end up with SAIYANSWINLOL putting the belts on lockdown like The Dragons again. |

Starting a bit early, but I think Zangief, after such a great showing against Haggar, deserves at least a shot at casual, if not a spot in a contender's match for the Gold. |

I think that having Fisherman's Horizon vs FF3&K would be the most obvious choice, as they've been the teams that have had the most forward momentum recently. I also wouldn't discount the idea that Asura and Blood Falcon may be put into a match against SBV due to plot reasons. |

Fisherman's Horizon is an obvious lock for at LEAST a title contendership match, I was hoping they would have been the ones to go against the Dragons at Blood Money since they are pretty much the only Tag Team with any amount of momentum but who know. I'd suspect them vs Saiyans or if they dont go that route maybe someone vs FF3&K then the winner of that vs Fisherman's Horizon. |

So tags are pretty much on lock, Fisherman's Horizon vs. FF3&K for SBV's first challengers. As for casuals, that's tougher to decide. Nobody in the undercard sticks out as having too much momentum right now, who also isn't tied up on plot. Maybe Toejam could get something out of that 6-man win? Dan is also another possibility, but he's out for a while. Waluigi I'd rather see go for the main belt, after defeating Break Man. |

Guybrush/Demo vs Travis could be a good one for Casuals |
