that's right snake
|
I'm not so sure about that, one of those matches already happened last season, and Dante was involved there too to boot. With how new some of these teams are it might just be better to have them fight. |

Guile did nothing wrong
|
The tag division is getting so big and competitive that we could probably just have a tournament after the next set of contenders is decided |

After the next title match would be better - we've already got quite a few teams that could work as contenders, but not quite enough in the running for a full tournament. |

-double post for Announcement Update- So, we're getting a six-way to decide the next Casual contender. Who's it gonna be? I think if Layton isn't making it to the Pro Leagues, he'll be a shoe-in for this. We may or may not see Travis too. Other than that, it's hard for me to pin down contenders that shouldn't be shooting for Gold, or who aren't tied up in some form of plot or another. Edited by Introbulus, Mar 20 2016, 06:00 PM.

I'll throw out Kefka and Guybrush as two choices since they have wins. |

Layton just had a shot, and I'd rather see him breach into the top card along with Waluigi. That being said, Guybrush and Kefka are likely, along with Robotnik if that's where the storyline is going. Haggar is another contender, alongside Travis. For the last slot, I'll go oddball and throw in Zubaz, why not. If Reyn wasn't involved in a program along Sho. I'd throw him in instead. |

Zangief deserves a casual championship opportunity for SURE. EDIT: Dan Hibiki is sitting at 2 wins in a row. He's another contender for sure, if he's good to go. Edited by Soundwave, Mar 20 2016, 07:44 PM.

It's a main event. No point Gief entering really. |

Layton was the contender who Wily had to beat to become champion, so I don't see Hershel getting another Casual shot so soon. I can't recall Robotnik's Singles standings right now, but he might not warrant a Casual opportunity either. If he's truly on intent on getting that belt legitimately, it depends on how well he can argue his case toward Gary, Vegeta, or Wily himself. If the MITB match doesn't count as a full-on shot in its own right, Goemon and Waluigi might show up in the main event, and if the loss at Blood Money doesn't hurt him too much, maybe Haggar could go for the Casual strap as well. Reyn might also have a chance since Sho is keen on keeping their fight far in the future, but he might not have enough wins to his fledgling career yet for such a shot. |

Okay, so after looking over the momentum rankings and power rankings, I think Layton, Sonic, and Zangief (unfortunately) are locks, while we could see any number of Goemon, Guybrush, Reyn, Haggar, or Dan involved as well. Maybe Guile or Robotnik (since he kinda stole the belt) |

When's the last time Sonic even won a match? His last few matches have been with Toad as part of Sonic Truffle, haven't they? I can see anyone else you mention, but not so much him. |

He's 2-0 in singles right now, I think. He beat Wario and Toad and his last loss was that Fatal Fourway Toad won. Wily got a shot for going 2-0 in singles, so I guess I can see Sonic getting a contendership match. |

First of all, I don't really agree with the fact that it's unfortunate to have Gief in the match, with the in-ring performence he is doing lately he cleearly show to be one of the best wrestler with a great mvoeset so I would be glad to ahve him in a match like that. Other than that, it's kind of weird to see. Layton just lost a contender amtch (and it's not like some guys that lost in a six man or somethign like that, he lost a straight, 1vs 1 match) so Ia in't sure about him. Guybrush could be nice, I hope Goemon is not in it the guy need to focus a lil'more on plot and gaining momentum in normal matches before having another shot at something. Haggar have no momentum at the moment so I don't see him. In fact, for a 6 men, there's pretty much nobody having any kind of momentum right now so it's gonna be a surprising amtch. If Dan return tonight eh could be in it. So, i,d see Gief,Guybrush, maybe Dan, but after that I have no clue. Edited by FCD, Mar 21 2016, 03:14 PM.

Sonic is currently on a two match winning streak in singles, one of which was the previous Casual Contender before Wily, Toad. He's had no singles matches since his Endgame win, so I'd say that, in a group of 6 wrestlers, it's very likely he'll be in it, if only as a reward for a big PPV win. |
