Together We OH GOD
|
Yeah, the idea is that VGCW is going with the template that WVGCW used and showing two "mid-season" PPVs and one finale PPV for the season schedule. The two rumble winners of Mega Evolution will go on to face whoever's champion and casual champion at End Game X-2. |

That makes sense...I sort of forgot about the two major mid-season events for last season, but I'm all aboard for this kind of thing becoming standard. I also think it'd be cool to have a tag tourney after Mega Evolution - just on account of it'll be the only title without a contender up after the show. |

Gary said all the belts would be defended, which leaves us with a huge blank for the VGCW championship match. So, who's gonna fight Dracula? We've got some people with decent momentum now, but only one show to build this. |

I was assuming a rematch for Barret was in order. If not... Honestly I'm not sure who's 'trending' right now that isn't tied up in other things. Ganondorf's got the MitB so he's out. Scorpion would still feel too soon, Air Man might work but he's hardly done anything to earn it lately, and Nappa only JUST lost a match to Jensen, so that'd be really awkward timing. Which brings us to a bunch of tag team partners who are more likely interested in that belt than any other...and Bison, who frankly it'd be kind of neat to see a season villain take the belt, but he doesn't seem to be after it at the moment. Snake could maybe make a shot for it, but he also just lost his Extreme Rules match, so again, bad timing. Same with Bowser (Armstrong maybe?), and Goemon, and Heavy's still fresh off losing his Casual Belt, and Duke ALSO just lost recently. Sonic or Haggar would work normally, but they JUST had a shot at the casual belt and lost it, so definitely not either of them, which... Dan coming back and demanding a shot at the Championship belt would be interesting for sure...but not sure if he's got the record to back that up. And honestly at this point we're scraping at upper-midcard talent to look for a good contender. So the Belt Scene for the Championship is...rough right now, to say the least. It'd be simple enough just to give it to Barret, and let the Rumble settle who'll be the next in line. |

Yeah there's really not a lot of people with solid momentum in the topcard right now. Vegeta still feels like of the guys with the most momentum and he's coming off a loss and has his sights set elsewhere. Bison's got some wins but if I'm reading the doc right those are the 6 man tag, Earl and Edgeworth (and Doctor Mario but I don't think you can count that), not exactly championship caliber victories. A Barret/Dracula would work well since it wouldn't really be interrupting anyone but the timing feels off storywise. Drac seemed to be hinting at being willing to give a rematch but not until Bison was dealt with and no real progress has been made on that front. Maybe if the dads had won the tag match but it would feel kind of odd now. Honestly despite coming off just a single win Armstrong might actually be a good option. This is mean to be Gary's big show so booking one of his guys into the conteder's match for it would be a very in character move and Dracula and Armstrong already have history with the fued last season, wouldn't be much work to build the match up in one show. That or we could just do a random 6 man of people with a little momentum for the contendership and throw Zubaz in for good measure. |

If Big Match Barret caught shit before, he'd never live down not getting a rematch vs. Dracula. A title shot was offered to him solely because he stipulated his retirement, and even though it ended in a no contest, I can't see him just going about his business in the midcard again after everything he said in the buildup. And I don't think he'd really want a match against anyone but Dracula. I was about to say that Bison vs. Dracula could make sense, since it would allow Barret to finally get his career v. title match at End Game either avenging VGCW and dethroning Bison or finally getting his re-match with So yeah, Barret v. Dracula. Or Bison for a triple threat. Edited by GirthIgnorer, Mar 27 2016, 03:08 AM.

If there wasn't a rumble for the next contender for End Game, I would have said Jensen vs. Edgeworth for the shot |

It's Bowser's time, you guys. Bowser won a 40 man from #28, imagine what he can do in a 30 man rumble. If he comes out at #10 or later he has a legit shot. God help VGCW if he comes out as one of the last few. IT'S AWESOME TIME, C'MON BOWSER, THE RUMBLE IS YOUR HOUSE. Edited by Soundwave, Apr 6 2016, 10:45 AM.

But just as fun would be guessing who is going to win one of the two rumbles. It's always a crap shoot, but with 50 wrestlers, there's bound to be some overlap, and some double-booking. For Casuals, I'm going to take a stab and say Arino.c His luck with rumble spots has GOT to pay off sometime, why not now? And for the big one, I'm predicting Gary will double book himself into it, and do really well, but fail. Ridley will show up, but also fail for not being built for rumbles. And in the end, I'm going to say it'll come down to the most Canon possible confrontation of Phoenix v Edgeworth, where it will be either lawyer's game. Edited by Introbulus, Apr 6 2016, 08:32 PM.

I have no idea which 20 and which 30 will be in the rumbles, or if there is any crossover so Random thing picker go! Casual Contender: Dante VGCW Contender: Adam Jensen ...I can dig that. |

Had a cool thought if Bowser won the VGCW Championship Rumble (pls based RNG gods). We'd have a situation where Bowser and Ganondorf are basically both #1 Contenders. Would Ganondorf cash in on Bowser immediately if he won or would that be too easy for his big ego? |

I'm praying that Zubaz wins the Little Cup rumble, so he can get his revenge on Waluigi. Waluigi vs Zubaz at End Game would be a sight to behold. |

I just realized, the best possible way for the Little Cup to go would be for Dan to come back from the hospital, announce he'll be in the rumble, and then win.

Yo, it's me. It's me. It's A.T.B.
|
Nah, I'll go with Zubaz. Dan can go for the World Title in the 30 Man Rumble and the Triple Crown again. |
