I'm gonna hit random on the wiki and the first 16 males I get is my prediction for KOTR.

If it's a broadcast page, the first wrestler of the first match is chosen.

Ron Burgundy
Captain Falcon
Captain Falcon Again
Dick Gumshoe
Mario
Brass Knuckles
HAVE SOME MORE GOD DAMN CAPTAIN FALCON
Liquid Snake
John Cena
Gaben
Earl
Mike Haggar
Mario again
Proto Man
Ash Ketchum
Ash Ketchum Again

My Actual Prediction

King of the Ring Tournament. I said it before, but it has been a long time since we had one, and I think we're due.
KOTR would most Likely be:

Guile, Bowser, Nappa, Goemon, Duke, Heavy, Johnny Cage, Illidan, Pheonix, Barrett (he's ranked top 20 somehow), DK, Bison, Snake, Octodad, Haggar, and Dan (seriously, he's the highest ranked guy who isn't a robot or fighting said robots). As you can see, we'd REALLY have to grasp at straws to get 16 guys. An 8 man Tournament could work though.
8-man tournament could work. I'd nominate of those you listed pretty much the first 8 that you listed.

If we're doing this tournament style, then I agree that it should be no more than an 8 man tournament.

If Scorpion defends his title once more, then he'll have beaten Ganon's title defense record. Therefore, for his next defense, he needs to fight someone with cred. Someone who can really test his might. He needs to earn the record, so no one can claim he's coasting on fluke opponents like Ness or Kefka.

Ideally, we should be looking at opponents with a 1200 or better rating on the power rankings. Currently, excluding current singles champions or robots, these are:

Bowser
Guile
Duke Nukem
Goemon
Nappa
Gabe Newell
Dracula
Ganondorf
Johnny Cage
Phoenix Wright

(Though Dracula has said he's not in the title match, I included him on the off chance that he tries to sneak into the match at the expense of the Practice's target. If we remove Drac from the equation, plus Nappa for being a Co-Op Champion, then we have our eight right here.)

I realize this season has had a chamber match and a rumble already, but the contenders we got from that are almost completely random and left to the games random nature.

With a KOTR whoever comes out as number one, has proven that they have the power needed to step over all other contenders and challenge the champ, you can't fluke your way through a KOTR, when you win, you win big.

Doesn't matter who you put into the tournament.

Barkley will win.

If we want to eliminate Dracula for knowing he won't be in the running, Illidan is right below the 1200-point cutoff, and would be an excellent addition to the tournament.

Or, if we want to cut Gabe out, DK is still at a respectable place on the Power Chart.

After that it...gets somewhat more iffy. I love Heavy, but he hasn't really had enough matches to solidify himself as a Top Card Talent. And I love Barret, but he hasn't ever really won a match against one of the stronger fighters of VGCW. Though either one would get respect simply by beating any of the above 8 men.

I'm kind of surprised AVGN and Haggar are so low on the Power Charts right now. I chalk this up to not having a lot of matches and getting superseded by up-and-coming talent. But either of them would make good picks too.

Actually, from that we'd have fourteen potential candidates, and we could throw in another two that have reputation but not current point totals - Badman would work, as would an up-and-coming Dan. And pretty much everyone loves Octodad. Though all of them run the risk of being seen as 'given' the shot. If the Power Rank counts the tournament though, they'll quickly rocket up to the top no matter who they're up against.

And of course, there's always the chance that the current Casual Champ will cash in his belt, leaving the spot open for its own special contest (and ensuring that all three belts are up for grabs at End Game 8).

CAN Airman "cash in" his belt for a title shot? For one thing, it has never been done before so I dunno if he can, and second, he's only had ONE defence of his casual title. We know he's strong, but we're kinda rushing him out of the casual title. I mean, I can see Airman doing it to try to impress Wily...who hasn't even spoken to the poor robot since he got his NEW toys...poor Airman...

Also, AVGN has had plenty of matches lately. It's just his two wins were against a bottom ranking Ezio, and he's lost his last three. Mainly due to being in two multi mans and thinking he stood a chance against JOHNNY CAGE.

I dunno, I really do think a KotR tournament would kick ass, but it would be ridiculous to shove it into an already stuffed season. We've got some strong contenders already lined up, we're not exactly short on talent who could give Scorpion a real run for his money. Guile, Bowser, Duke, Goemon or Illidan could all give a good fight.

Maybe instead he could cash in for a chance in the KotR? I'm not saying it's actually in the rules, but like they say, Anything Can Happen In VGCW.

As for it being too much...I don't see that. Honestly it could just as easily be one episode of KotR to determine the last contender of the season, and then End Game 8 afterwards.

I think the KOTR and Airman cash-in are both good idea, but not for this season. We've only got two episodes left and a lot of loose ends to tie up.

I'd rather the next season kick off, the first night, with the KOTR. By the time that is done and the championship match is held, Airman should have a few more Casual matches under his belt. Then he could cash in.

Hell, even if he loses, put him in an Elimination Chamber to re-gain the casual championship against some of the best past champions and maybe some wildcards.

I don't think a King of the Ring tournament is really needed at this point. The Season has already given us strong, impressive competitors who seem due for an opportunity. Guile risked his momentum and his career for a long time, finally "winning the war" after stomping Cage. Duke Nukem has also been going strong and picked himself back up after a big loss to Snake. Goemon's been an unexpected success as well, even winning a popular dark match and a follow-up to enter the top ten power rankings. Finally, Bowser's long been regarded as a dominant wrestler yet hasn't had many shots at the title, and after demolishing Haggar he's been sitting comfortably in the top three power rankings.

Also, the last "normal" contenders match happened back in April. KOTR might work better as something early in the next Season.

Bazza confirms that the next #1 contenders match will be a one-on-one contest.

Guile vs. Bowser? It's more likely then you think.
(Now I'm also really looking forward to Bowser vs. Scorpion at End Game 8)

Watch it be Guile Vs. Duke.

Bowser Vs. Ganon would also be hype.

Heck, I'd be fine getting excited by Goemon going up against someone too!...Though knowing now what the match will be, I suspect a surprise Casual Contender match instead, with Goemon going for the lower belt.

Yeah, that could just be accurate. Given Air Man's power, it would make sense that competitors that would be 2nd choices for a VGCW Title shot could be first pickings for a Casual shot.

As such, we could just see :gwar: VS  for the match against Scorps with :goemon: VS :betonduke: being over who faces Air Man. And that would make tomorrow's show fucking rad.

This matchup gets my highest possible approval rating.
