CRAZY NOISY BIZARRE TOWN
|
I'm going to wait until the second or third episode of season 6 to make my prediction. 2K14 matches are quite different than the slow paced matches in 13 and people like Ganon might be worthless jobbers depending on how their CAWs are made. |

Haggar vs Ganon would be pretty good. DK is also due for a title shot, and I'm sure Mac will be back for a rematch at some point. Many will come, but will any of them respect the ? |

Ganon is another strong possibility for a future title run, but he might need a win against more top-tier talent to prove himself first. After all, his fight with Zangief could have gone either way, and he still has the recent black mark of that fluke Octodad victory against him. I'm guessing he'll be thrown against some other upper-tier talent like Wario, Air Man, or Mr. Satan to prove he's still the unbeatable King of Darkness before he gets his title shot. This depends on whether the next contender match is next episode, or if they sit on it for a bit in order to get a feel for the post-2k14 pecking order. Edited by Wyvernil, Nov 5 2013, 11:53 PM.

I don't imagine there'll be a ton of Championship matches for a while exactly for that latter reason. Maybe a Casual defense to test the waters or something, but I don't see the Big Gold Belt getting off Haggar's waist for a bit. |

Speaking of Casual defenses... Since the Red/Scorpion match ended in a draw, you could just have the two of them duke it out in a rematch and let the winner have the title shot against Segata. If other people must be added, here's some possibilities. Red vs. Scorpion vs. Phoenix Wright vs. M. Bison vs. Dr. Wily vs. Waluigi This might make for an interesting six-man match. Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
Brand new season, brand new game, brand new CAWs... I see only one way to determine a proper #1 contender. Royal. Rumble. |

Was about to mention that I think we need a rumble, with so much changing it's a good way to see who ends up rising to the top. Wouldn't mind seeing Little Mac get a rematch either -- their personal series stands at 1-1 now, it could use a rubber match. Don't forget, there's also no Money in the Bank holder now. Anyone left out of a potential rumble should get a shot at the case. |

I like the idea of a rumble for the Money in the Bank briefcase, but not for #1 contender. Mostly because DK and AVGN are both overdue for a chance to get a shot at the belt. I'd also like to see Ganon in some main eventer matches. He came back from Co-op just to do a squashing tour of the midcard to earn his boos. Now he needs to get back in the game for real. |

That would be great, yeah. Rumble gets my vote too, if only because I'm really curious about how 2Kquality handles rumbles. |

Well, from what I can tell, Vegeta(who techincally was never beaten for the title) and DK for his massive win streak before the light switcher offer incident) have the best claims for the VGCW title. Red and Scorpion, after their EPIC battle, deserve to face Segata..in a Triple Threat. |

I'm agreeing with everyone who says that we need a rumble. It's a little close to the last one, but rumbles are just the thing for shaking up the status quo. Going into 2k14 without a shake-up seems like a bad idea to me, since we won't know anything about the wrestlers. Plus, you know, it'd be nice to see as many of them as possible in a stream, and an RR could give us a peak at 40 wrestlers. |

Little Mac can also have his rematch clause. And we're due for another King of The Ring and Money In the Bank matches too. |

We have yet to see how much things will change with 2K14, but it's clear now that DK deserves a shot. Vegeta also deserves one for plot reasons (kind of what happened in season 3). I could see AVGN getting one but I'm not sure that having someone hold 2 titles is the best idea. For Casual, definitely Red and Scorpion. Phoenix or Goemon may also deserve a shot, Octodad too. I hope tag team division gets a boost in 2K14 so I'll wait to see if Bazza has any special plans for that one. |
