Ehhh I think since Oak has proven himself to not suck, lets see how much he proves himself to rock. He'll be going up against Jensen or Bazza next, and if he beats either of them, he might wind up being main event material. Otherwise, definietly hit him into Casual.

So do we have any idea who's going to be facing the Dragons for co-op contendership? The obvious choice is The Mavericks but i'm not sure if Air Man will be double booked, If so then S&K or the Practice both have recent wins under their belt with the former being slightly higher on the rankings.
So i'm thinking it's going to be The Dragons vs Sonic and Knuckles, though if we want to face the terror of the undefeated Double Champion Air Man we may have Dragons vs Mavericks instead.

A ladder match is far too brutal to be double booked in, even for Air Man. Even if Air Man was up for it, I doubt Break would let him do that with a title match on the line.

Probably The Practice vs The Dragons i'd say.

Well you know, even though S&K got a win over them, T&J beat down two major forces last show, I think they need the push.

I already posted this in the Airman thread, but here's who I think should be in the Casual Ladder Match (Plus Octodad, who's already been declared in)
Ezio would be good. He's shown some strength again and could get some momentum going by trying to be casual champ.
Snake could do. He's not the most dominant wrestler, but he's always a solid pick.
Jensen could seek a consolation prize, since wrestlers aren't restricted to being in one tournament running at a time.
And I think everyone's favorite Avalance member would like another go at winning himself a belt.

: Has a match with Illidan to settle, and would be double booked, which might make things a bit shaky for him. Bison would probably be a better choice for this slot.
: Is starting to become the Phoenix of the Casual Division, minus the fucking up the contender matches. Also hasn't done a whole lot to earn his slot this time. A better choice would be Groose or Gary.

: Is starting to become the Phoenix of the Casual Division, minus the fucking up the contender matches. Also hasn't done a whole lot to earn his slot this time. A better choice would be Groose or Gary. On the other hand, Barret's attempt to get the Casual Belt from Airman seemed a lot closer than Octodad's attempt, and Octodad is being given another chance. I wouldn't be upset to see Barret get another try seeing as he really did push Airman farer than Red, Octodad or Falcon did.
Snake's loss to Gray Fox hasn't convinced me that he isn't too high for Casuals himself. I'd like to see him go up against some more heavy hitters before settling for the low hanging fruit like Airman did. Fighting Illidan in the rubber match will be a good indicator. Ezio hasn't done anything to earn another shot after his last one either, though getting Groose to tap out in the fatal fourway was impressive.
I would give the four extra shots to Jensen, Barret, Gary and Dan. Jensen hasn't had a contendership for a while, Barret could get another shot for reasons I explained, and Gary and Dan have proven they deserve a good chance. Dan actually has EARNED a shot this time, taking down Wily and Waluigi and nearly beating Bison, and Gary beat Waluigi and Bison.

Dunno about Gary, i mean he's still in a tournament and all, might be weird. Dan? hmm...dunno about him either.
I could see Barret having a chance.

Barret came a lot closer than Octodad, but he REALLY needs to give it a rest and keep shooting for the Co-Op titles or something. Octodad being in the match at all doesn't make a lot of sense either considering how decisively he lost

Super Long Post put in spoilers because gotdamn my bad, and apologies for the MitB talk in this thread but this makes more sense as one post I stand by my sentiment that MitB should be a mix of topcarders who are just shy of a VGCW title shot/won't usually get it and midcarders close to breaking into the uppercard. Maybe 1 or 2 wildcards thrown in for the match's sake. So, assuming that Knuckles and Sabin are having a match next week:
Spoiler: click to toggle : Nappa: Has always been a huge singles competitor, with an impressive record but a Co-op obligation that has limited him. Nappa is also a previous winner, even though he failed his last cash-in. He barely gets singles matches, so a MitB may be the only way he reaches another VGCW title shot (since his only losses since October 2013 have been in Tag Teams or Triple Threats) Little Mac: Mac Baby is off a fresh win against VGCW's most over wrestler but unfortunately lukewarm and hardly seen otherwise. He still retains a top 10 spot in the rankings, (I know they don't affect booking but still) is constantly regarded as a top performer, is a previous winner of the briefcase (with a successful cashin) and his last contender match had him eliminated last, but with a smattering of losses it's unlikely he will get another shot for a while Donkey Kong: Pretty much a mix of Nappa and Little Mac, Donkey Kong was stuck in DK Krew hell for a while and remains a top singles performer that gets outshined by other potential contenders. Also interesting due to not ever competing in a MitB or Ladder match in his storied career Johnny Cage: Part uppercarder, part wildcard, also has never competed in a Ladder Match, Cage is far from a conventional VGCW title shot but is also someone people could easily see being entered as a wildcard spot in one or someone who could challenge for the title. Goemon: There was a point when Goemon was considered as a VGCW title match contender, with only losses in tag team matches and impressive showings in multi-mans, he's unfortunately on a 4 match losing streak. A MitB match is perfect for him to turn it around M. Bison: Bison's momentum may have been stopped, but in reality how strong is Gary? Bison may have lost to a top tier wrestler and we still think Gary sucks. Still, Bison's turnaround from almost being fired to fan favourite was incredible, and his inclusion in the match would make sense Possible entrants:Sabin: If he's not fighting Knux then he should probably be in this. Put him (or any other possibles) above Cage or Goemon imo. Vegeta: Was in the last contender's match, but really only due to a really weird pin on Scorps in a tag match. Past that Vegeta is one of the biggest wildcards in the company, being a top performer in multimans and beating Cage, but then losing to Barrett or Sonic. I don't see him getting another shot for a while (especially due to the Great Tournament and Co-op duties) but being in the last contender match and being Nappa's tag partner kind of sours things. Guile: Guile is kind of meandering after his loss to Scorpion, and should have something to do this season. I'd prefer a feud but a MitB slot would also make sense, although being the last title contender and having done nothing since doesn't take him out of the possible chance at the next contender's match Mike Haggar: An argument can be made but I want to talk about the Casual title match now so?? Haggar could but I don't see him being booked
Spoiler: click to toggle : Air Man (c): He really deserves this shot Octodad: He sold a lot of merch this year, as well as heaps of Make-a-Wishes fulfilled Octodad should be in this match, Bazza doesn't know booking if he misses this golden chance Break Man: There's plenty of reasons against it (Mostly his status as a flexible uppercarder/midcarder and breaking the Maverick friendship) but I see Break Man's inclusion after being explained in plot as a "Airman and Break Man (admittedly all of us) both want Airman to be VGCW champion (or at least get the shot) but Break Man doesn't want to let the title out of the hands of the Mavericks." He's essentially the perfect 'above casual level but in a contender match' wrestler, as he is a tough competitor but can also lose, essentially making him Air Man but with the Robot Master ability to lose that he must have gotten from WarioBot. Groose: I'm hoping this match is a 3/3 split between higher-up midcarders and true Casual stars, and Groose is similar to Break Man in being a high talent but loses sometimes. I thought of putting Groose in the MitB match (he would probably be above Vegeta or replacing Cage) but his spot here would also be interesting. A minor feud with Octodad due to the contender's match, beating Air Man before, beating Break Man before and being different to the other Casual contenders, (most of them are small) Groose would be a good addition and whoever thinks he should be in the match is a fucking top bloke Captain Falcon: People say Ezio should get the shot but I'm in the corner of the other Bird of Prey for several reasons. 1. He is the new 0-10 in a row, heroically sacrificing his clout so Ezio could have his End Game moment and should have a chance to turn it around himself, 2. Air Man beat him for the title, and this is a good chance for him to regain it, 3. I like the idea of ex-Casual Champions (especially during the Saturn Curse) being in the match because it's Air Man's farewell to a division he dominated only because he was booked in one contender's match as an uppercard wildcard, meaning those who Air Man dominated have a chance to get the strap back. and 4. because he's a good competitor who is a quintessential Casual contender much like Barrett or Octodad. Book Falcon. Grey Fox: Again, a Casual belt holder in the Saturn Curse and someone who is in need of a bit of a boost, Grey Fox is a good dark horse for a match like this. Generally he just is a good dark horse, no one expected he would win his Casual Contenders, I don't think anyone expected him to beat Snake, he's a good wildcard that exists in the Midcard that doesn't have much to do, so book the boy. He could also fill the same role Sonic fills, as someone used to boost other wrestlers by beating them (and by extension boosting himself as a natural heel if he beats them) and in a match like this his role can be fulfilled Possible other contenders:Shaw Nick: For essentially the same reasons as Grey Fox, solid midcarder, heel heat and has nothing to do at the moment (Unless he is in the Co-op contender pool) Ezio: If there's no Captain Falcon I'll be surprised if Ezio isn't there. One of the Birds of Prey should be in this match for similar reasons, I just think Cap is more suited for the match Flint: A Wildcard on a career turnaround that has to prove himself. Good showings in his tag team matches and the crowd's love for him make him a good addition if there weren't already others
Spoiler: click to toggle : Since we have a Co-op contender match on the horizon (maybe even next week?) I thought an evaluation for the other contender contender's match could be done. Going off who I'm booking in the above matches, the match should probably be Groose's Gang of Bullys VS The PracticeEven without Groose's place in the Casual title match, Haggar and Heavy are a team with 1 match, although that match was a victory over the current tag champs. 1 match is hardly an argument, and as an untested team they should have at least one more, but their inclusion as a wildcard team is better than what's currently available in the tag division. The Practice are hot off a win and have always been great in the tag division, and with a small rumbling of "Eggman and Wily are boring in singles" their performances in the tag division are still great and should be showcased more often. I don't think there's another team that has such a definitive tag match style and seeing this happen should be good. Other Possible Contenders Contenders:Sonic & Knuckles: If Knux doesn't have a match then they'd be a good fit. Fresh off a win and reputable due to their history, they haven't been given a lot of time in the tag team spotlight for a while (before their match last month they hadn't appeared since May) Barret & Flint: Barret & Flint are in the sorry state of "putting on good showings but losing the match in the end", but their 1-3 record makes their inclusion debatable
Spoiler: click to toggle : Duke Nukem: He won the contender's match. Possible Other Contenders:Phoenix Wright: Give my boy his shot Bazza put him in I dont care
????
Spoiler: click to toggle FULL CARD So because I like typing cards out the Money in the Bank Card by my count is the following:
VGCW TITLE MATCH Scorpion (c) VS Duke Nukem
MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: Nappa VS Little Mac VS Donkey Kony VS Johnny Cage VS Goemon VS M. Bison
CASUAL TITLE 6 MAN LADDER MATCH Air Man (c) VS Octodad VS Break Man VS Groose VS Captain Falcon VS Grey Fox
CO-OP TITLE CONTENDERS MATCH The Dragons VS ???
Solid Snake VS Illidan (w/ Gary Oak?) III
Bowser VS Segata Sanshiro
Knuckles the Echidna VS Sabin Rene Figaro
Travis Touchdown VS Dante

Time for new predictions post-MitB.
For the main title, it may take a bit for the top card to solidify in the wake of the Money in the Bank match, so I think it's time for another Rumble. But if Scorpion's still standing at the end, I think Endgame 9's championship match needs to be Scorpion vs. Ganondorf.
Scorpion has surpassed Ganon's win streak with his title run, but Ganon is still a three-time VGCW champion; a feat that only Barkley has matched. Which of these champions is truly the greatest champion in VGCW history? It's time to put the debate to rest.
As for the casual title, here's a tentative matchup for Dan's first opponent as champ:
Knuckles vs. Gary Oak vs. Segata Sanshiro vs. Proto Man
Knuckles has proven himself by beating upstart newcomer Sabin, and may have the record to go for a casual shot.
No one expected Gary to go as far into the tournament as he has. Beating Waluigi could have been a fluke, given Waluigi's wildcard status, but beating Bison proves that this is a new Gary we're dealing with.
After a period of irrelevance following his casual title run, Segata has seen a resurgence. Though getting flattened by Bowser is painful, there's no shame in losing to Bowser, and Segata may have better luck going for a second casual title.
Proto/Break Man's been doing okay since his heel turn, with a win against Heavy. Plus, he might have an interest in avenging his partner's loss and putting the casual title back into robot hands. But is he willing to settle for the casual title, or are his ambitions even greater?
